Jim: En este episodio tenemos una entrevista con unos amigos. Ellos son Diego y Efraín de Mextalki.

May: Así es. Este episodio es sólo de chicos, ¿no?

Jim: Sí, sólo somos ellos y yo.

May: Sí. Para este episodio decidimos que sólo estuvieran tres personas porque el tema de hoy es sobre groserías en español mexicano, pero los chicos hablan pues bastante natural, ¿no?, en una velocidad bastante normal. Yo creo que nosotros sí pausamos durante nuestras conversaciones. Así que para evitar más gente hablando al mismo tiempo y confusión y todo esto, decidimos que estuvieran sólo Jaime y los chicos (Diego y Efraín).

Efraín: Jajaja.

Jim: Pero también conocido como “Efra”, ¿verdad?

Diego: El Efra.

Jim: Muy bien.

Efraín: Pues mira, las chicas me dicen “Ef".

Diego: ¡Jajaja!

Efraín: ¡Perdónenme! Perdón, me tenía que tirar un chiste. Pero va, va, va. Vale, vale, vale.

Jim: Jajaja. Bueno, ¿cómo están, chicos?

Efraín: Pues estamos a toda madre. Excelente, como diría el Diego: Me mama estar con ustedes.

Diego: ¡Exacto! Yo solamente estoy emocionado por estar… después de mucho tiempo de que los vimos, estar con ustedes. Compartir un podcast. Estar aquí con ustedes conviviendo y unas chelitas también, ¿cómo no?

Efraín: Sí, porque ya cheleamos antes, ¿no?

Diego: ¡Sí, claro!

Efraín: Como que antes de grabar ya cheleamos hace unas semanas y así nos conocimos. Ah, perdón. Síguele, síguele.

Jim: ¡No! (jajaja) Está bien, está bien. Pues, ¿de dónde son y a qué se dedican?

Diego: Los dos somos de la Ciudad de México. En el caso de Efra… pues, ¡tú respóndeles, güey!

Efraín: Pues de lo que se viene llamando el barrio de La Valle Gómez (yo) y él de Aragón. Que la neta su barrio está más gacho que el mío. La Aragón es más conocida por andar así medio….

Diego: Pues más o menos. Pero sí, yo soy cien por ciento chilango. Y yo personalmente soy profesor de español ya desde hace bastante tiempo. Y por las noches estríper. Este…. Jajaja. ¡No! No es cierto, no es cierto. No soy profe, sólo estríper. Jajaja. No, no es cierto. Solamente soy profe de español.

Efraín: Sí, sí. Los… fíjate que… fíjate que yo me dedicaba antes a enseñar inglés en una prepa. Y ya después me dijo el Diego: “Pues jálate”. Y yo pues… o sea, pues no sé… no sé… no sabía enseñar español ni nada. Y poco a poco empecé hace unos… unos años. Y ya, a eso le damos estos días.

Diego: ¡Exactamente!

Jim: Ah, qué chido. ¡Super!

Jim: Pues, ¿cómo se conocieron y cómo comenzó Mextalki?

Diego: Pues la verdad es que nos conocimos en la carrera. Los dos estudiamos psicología y pues él al principio me caía súper mal. O sea, era una relación horrible porque… pues yo sólo tenía ganas de golpearlo porque él me tiraba carrilla, o en otras palabras, como que me trataba mal cuando yo quería participar o hacer algo. Él dice que no recuerda, pero pues en un momento ya estuve tan harto que dije: “Güey, cálmate o si no neta te voy a soltar un madrazo”. Y pues sí. O sea, al final sí le solté un madrazo. Él dice que no se acuerda, según.

Efraín: ¡Yo no me acuerdo!

Diego: Y... ¡ajá! ¿Ya ves? Exacto. O sea, lo… justo lo que dije. Pero… pues de ahí comenzó una bonita amistad. Después tuvimos otra clase juntos y nos tocó estar en un equipo. Y pues de ahí dije: “Bueno, pues la neta no, no me cae tan mal este cuate. Creo que sí congeniamos”. Y pues de ahí empezamos a hacer varias cosas. Hicimos una batería para medir la adicción a Facebook. Y de ahí después comenzamos con un proyecto de películas de terror, que más que de terror eran como de comedia.

Efraín: Sí, sí.

Diego: Y después Mextalki.

Efraín: Sí. O sea, nos oímos acá medio… pues medio improvisados, pero así como nos ves, también estudiamos psicología. Jajaja.

Diego: Sí. Así como nos escuchan, estudiamos… tenemos una carrera.

Efraín: Tenemos una carrera y también este… sí, iniciamos con videos de terror. O sea, le queríamos entrar a eso. Trajimos dos chicas para… para grabar.

Jim: Ah, ¿de verdad?

Efraín: Sí, sí, sí. O sea…

Diego: Una para cada uno, sí.

Efraín: ¡No es cierto!

Jim: Jajaja.

Efraín: ¡Pérame! ¡No! ¡Pérame! ¡Diego, cállate!

Efraín: A ver, número uno, una iba a ser como el monstruo. Y ya, la maquillamos, toda la onda. Y la otra era como que la víctima. Y yo sólo era iluminación, ¿no? Y tú eres el director.

Diego: Yo era el director y actor principal.

Efraín: Y así… así inició todo. O sea… Y vieras el video está super chafa, pero… bueno.

Diego: Nos divertimos, la pasamos bien.

Efraín: Sí, sí, ¡ey!

Jim: Pero eso les dio algo de experiencia con grabar videos, ¿no?

Diego: Pues… a mí medio me quitó un poco el miedo a la cámara.

Efraín: Creo que nos quitó el miedo, más que nada.

Diego: Es que es bien tonto, ¿no? Porque ves la cámara. No hay absolutamente nadie, pero sí te paraliza. A mí sí me paralizaba bastante.

Efraín: ¡No! ¡Y deja tú eso! O sea, le echamos muchas ganas. Pintamos hasta la pared del Diego con… con un dulce de chile. Y pintamos así de: “Yo sé que estás despierta”. Pero así con letras como de sangre. Como de sangre… y dejó manchado su cuarto.

Diego: Sí, tuve que volver a pintarlo, sí. Porque sí… ya no, ya no se lavó.

Efraín: Y bueno, luego te enseñamos el video.

Jim: Jajaja.

Efraín: ¡Perdóname! ¡Perdóname! Hice muy larga la pregunta.

Jim: Bueno, hacer películas de terror les quitó el miedo de estar en frente de la cámara. ¡Qué chistoso

Diego: ¡Exacto! O sea… irónico. ¡Justo!

Jim: Bueno, pues yo soy de Minnesota. Es un estado que no tiene una población tan grande. Y mi ciudad es Rochester, hay como ciento veinte mil personas que viven ahí. ¿Cómo es vivir en una ciudad como la Ciudad de México?

Diego: ¡Mira! Qué curioso que mencionas ese número. Porque en mi colonia esa es la población.

Jim: ¿Oh, de verdad?

Diego: Sí, sí, sí. Y estamos hablando… como los dos somos aquí de la ciudad. La ciudad es conocida por ser la… actualmente la tercera más grande (poblada) en el mundo. Y al menos en mi… en mi colonia sí somos esa cantidad. O sea, sí llegamos un poquito arriba de los cien mil.

Diego: Y es una locura a veces, ¿no? Porque al tener una ciudad tan pero tan poblada, lo chido es que siempre hay algo nuevo por hacer. O sea, conoces a un buen de gente y siempre tienes un plan el fin de semana. Si te gusta la fiesta, te va a encantar la Ciudad de México. Pero pues no es una ciudad que yo podría considerar tranquila. No puedes estar en tu casa (generalmente) sin que suene el de los tamales, sin que suene ahí un ruido de… de la calle, los perros, el típico perro del vecino. O sea, eso es lo único malo de estar aquí en la Ciudad de México.

Diego: ¿O tú cómo ves, Efra? Tú de hecho podrías dar una mejor perspectiva porque tú estuviste ya en dos estados.

Efraín: Mira, te voy a decir algo, Jaime. A mí me caga, me caga, me molesta, me excrementa, me zurra tener vecinos en la Ciudad de México.

Jim: Jajaja.

Efraín: O sea, si no es un cabrón, es otro, otro cabrón. O sea, si no es uno con su música, es otro pendejo construyendo algo. O sea, y si no es alguien construyendo algo, es alguien gritándole a alguien más.

Jim: Jajaja.

Efraín: ¿Me gusta la vida aquí? Sí me gusta. ¿Me gusta tener vecinos? Esa es la cuestión. Pero… pero… es que aquí está todo.

Jim: Sí.

Efraín: Aquí está todo.

Jim: Sí. No puedes encontrar el silencio tan fácil, pero siempre hay algo que hacer, ¿verdad?

Efraín: ¡Sí!

Diego: Eso es lo bueno. Siempre vas a encontrar algo que hacer, pero tranquilidad… si quieres algo tranquilo, no vengas a la ciudad definitivamente.

Jim: Bueno… Diego, mencionaste que vives en una colonia. Eso es un poco complicado para mí. ¿Qué significa? Porque vives en una colonia que es como una parte de la Ciudad de México, ¿verdad? ¿Es como vivir en Brooklyn, en Nueva York, por ejemplo?

Diego: Mira, es… no tanto así. Porque la ciudad está dividida* más por las regiones que les llamamos delegaciones. Dentro de esas delegaciones tenemos colonias, y hay colonias que son más grandes que otras. Hay colonias muy pequeñas, de sólo un par de cuadras. Y hay colonias grandes, como la mía, que es San Juan de Aragón. Esa colonia como tal sí es bastante grande, pero es como una región dentro de una delegación. Lo que vendría siendo Brooklyn (por ejemplo) es más o menos similar a una delegación. Entonces, por ejemplo, yo estoy en San Juan de Aragón y mi delegación es Gustavo A. Madero. ¿Cuántas delegaciones tenemos aquí?

Efraín: Mira Diego, no vine preparado.

Diego: ¡Jajaja! “No me hagas esa pregunta tan complicada”.

Efraín: No me hagas esa pregunta en frente de ellos.

Jim: He visto un mapa que muestra como… no sé, más o menos veinte (quiero decir).

Diego: No estoy seguro si son veinte la verdad, pero sí son bastantes. Dentro de la ciudad… y bueno, dentro de estas están justamente las colonias. Entonces, si yo hablo de mi colonia, quiere decir que es como dentro de esta misma delegación.

Diego: De hecho ya acabo de recordar justo… justamente. El número es dieciséis, dieciséis delegaciones.

Efraín: ¡Ah, mira!

Jim: Muy bien. ¡Qué buena memoria!

Diego: Jajaja.
