-(앵커) 대통령 당선인의 집무실이 있는 서울 통의동은 벌써부터 몸살을 앓고 있습니다. -(Anchor) Seoul's Tongui-dong, where the office of the president-elect is located, is already suffering. 청와대는 인근에서 열리던 각종을 집회와 시위가 옮겨왔고 경찰까지 몰리면서 현장은 북새통인데요. The Blue House is crowded with rallies and demonstrations held in the vicinity, and the police are also flocking to it. 당선인의 자택인 서초동부터 집무실인 통의동까지 동선도 워낙 길다 보니까 교통 혼잡도 우려되고 있습니다. -(기자) 주황색 옷을 맞춰 입은 100여명의 사람들이 인도를 가득 메웠습니다. -(Reporter) About 100 people in matching orange clothes filled the sidewalk. 현대차의 중고차 시장 진출을막아달라며 대통령직 인수위원회 앞에서 집회를 하는 겁니다. They are arranging in front of the Presidential Transition Committee to prevent Hyundai Motor from entering the used car market.

-(기자) 인수위 건물 맞은편 인도에도 이른 아침부터 피켓을 든 1인 시위자들이 10명 넘게 몰려왔습니다. -(Reporter) More than 10 single protesters with pickets flocked to the sidewalk opposite the building from the early morning. 인수위 건물에서 직원들이 나오자 확성기로 목소리를 더욱 높입니다. As employees come out of the transition building, they raise their voices through megaphones.

-(기자) 인수위 앞 집회와 기자회견은 하루에만 10여 건이 열렸습니다. -(Reporter) About 10 rallies and press conferences were held in one day in front of the transition committee. 5년 전 청와대 앞길이 전면 개방된 이후 그곳에서 매일 시위를 하던 사람들도 거의 대부분이 인수위 앞으로자리를 옮겼습니다. Since the road in front of the Blue House was completely opened five years ago, most of the people who have been protesting there every day have moved to the front of the transition committee. 시민들은 인파를 피해 좁은 틈으로 겨우 지나다닙니다. Citizens barely pass through narrow gaps to avoid the crowds.

-(인터뷰) 경찰분들도 많아가지고 차 같은 것도 많이 밀리기도 했었고 이제 소리도 되게 시끄러웠던 경향도 있었던 것 같아요.

-(인터뷰) 한복집 가게가 약간 시민 통행로가 있으니까 이제 굽어져 가야 되는 것도 있고. -(Interview) Since the hanbok shop has a bit of a civic passage, there are some things that have to be bent.

-(기자) 윤 당선인의 차량이 이곳 인수위 앞 도로를 지나갈 때면 철제 펜스가 처져 횡단보도의 통행이통제됩니다. -(Reporter) When President-elect Yoon's vehicle passes the road in front of the takeover committee, the iron fence sags and the passage of the crosswalk is restricted. 현행 집회 시위 법에 당무실 집회와 관련된 집회 금지 규정은 따로 없지만 경찰은 당선인 안전을 이유로 인수위 정문에서 80m 안에서는 집회를 금지하고 있습니다. Although the current Assembly and Demonstration Act does not provide for a ban on assembly related to the office assembly, the police prohibit assembly within 80 meters from the main gate of the transition committee for the safety of the elected person. 이 때문에 경찰 병력이 동원되다 보니 기동대 버스들이 줄줄이 주차돼 인수위 앞 2개 차로 중 하나는 아예막혀버렸습니다. Because of this, police forces were mobilized, so the task force buses were parked one after another, and one of the two lanes in front of the turn-over committee was completely blocked. 당선인이 서울 서초동 자택에서 통의동집무실로 출퇴근을 할 경우 시내 교통 혼잡도 불가피해 보입니다. If the elected president commutes from his home in Seocho-dong, Seoul to his office in Tongui-dong, traffic congestion in the city seems inevitable. 자택에서 집무실 오가는 길이 강남과 강북 사이 12km에 달하는 데다 The road from home to the office is 12 km between Gangnam and Gangbuk. 평소에도 정체가 심한 반포대교와 남산 3호 터널 등에서 교통을 통제해야 하기 때문입니다. This is because traffic must be controlled at Banpo Bridge and Namsan Tunnel 3, which are usually heavily congested. 이에 대해서 인수위 측은 교통 혼잡이 없는 시간대를 이용하겠다는 입장을 밝혔습니다. In response, the Transition Committee stated that it would use a time period when there is no traffic congestion.
