In the places where the crab is glad, the monkey came.
さる も 、 たべもの を さ が して いま した が 、 かき の たね しか 見つかり ませ ん でした 。

The Bee explained the situation.

くり も ぎょうれつ に くわわり 、 さる の いえ に むかって いる と 、

さらに すすんで いく と こんど は 、 うし の ふん と であい ました 。

わけ を はなす と ふん も かんかんに おこり ました 。

さる の いえ に つき ました 。
I arrived at the monkey's house.
しかし 、 さる は 、 でかけて い ない ようです 。

はち 、 くり 、 うす 、 うし の ふん 、
So the Bee... the Chestnut... ...the Mortar... the Cow Dung...
そして こ が に たち は そうだん して 、 さくせん を きめ ました 。
...and the Baby Crabs, all had a conference, and worked out a strategy.
よし 、 さる が くる まえ に 、 みんな もちば に つく んだ !!

The first time I saw her, I thought, "I'm a bit of a hippopotamus.

It burned, and it hurt!
やけど した ところ を 水 で ひやそう と 、 あわてて 水がめ の ふた を あけ ました 。

The Monkey wanted to splash some water on his face.
と 、 その とたん 、 ふた の うら に かくれて いた はち が とびだして さる の 目 の 上 を チクリ と さし ました 。

Just then, a wasp from behind the lid bursts out and hits Saru above the eyes.
さる は 、 たまら ず 、 そと に とびだそう と し ました 。
The monkey couldn't go outside.
しかし 、 出口 の しきい の 上 に は 、 うし の ふん が 、 まって い ました 。

But waiting for him at the threshold was none other than the pile of Cow Dung!
さる は 、 ふんで 足 を すべら せ 、 ズド 〜〜 ン と まえ に ころんで しまい ました 。

The Bee flew right up in front of the Monkey's face and said...
こら ! さる ! もう わるい こと を し ない と ちかう か ?!
Come on! Go away! Will you do something bad now or I swear?
う へ 〜〜、 ち ・・・・ ちかい ます ぅ 〜〜!
Uhe~~, I'm close to ・・・・!
さる は 、 はち たち に つれ られ 、 かに を みまい に いき ました 。
Escorted by the Bee and the others, the Monkey went to visit the injured Mrs.Crab.
かに さん ! ごめんなさい !
Mrs.Crab! Forgive me!
さる が あやまった ので 、 かに は ゆるして あげる こと に し ました 。
Since the Monkey apologized, Mrs.Crab did forgive him.
そして 、 はち や くり や うす や うし の ふん に おれい を いい ました 。
Then he said goodbye to the bees, the chestnuts, the thorns and the oxen.
みなさん ありがとう ! バイ 、 バ 〜〜〜 イ !

しばらく して 、 かに の お かあさん も すっかり 元気に なって

After a while, the crab's mother got well again.
