In quel momento mi dicevo:

«Ma no! Ma no!

«Parli come i grandi!»

Ne ebbi un po' di vergogna. Ma, senza pietà, aggiunse:

«Tu confondi tutto... tu mescoli tutto!»

Scoppiò bruscamente in singhiozzi. Era caduta la notte. Avevo abbandonato i miei utensili. Io...».

Non sapevo bene che cosa dirgli. Mi sentivo molto maldestro. Non sapevo come toccarlo, come raggiungerlo... Il paese delle lacrime è così misterioso.

Il Piccolo Principe - VII Der kleine Prinz - VII Ο Μικρός Πρίγκιπας - VII The Little Prince - VII El Principito - VII Le Petit Prince - VII 星の王子さま - VII De kleine prins - VII Mały Książę - VII O Principezinho - VII Маленький принц - VII Den lille prinsen - VII 小王子》 - VII

On the fifth day, again thanks to the sheep, this secret of the life of the little prince was revealed to me. Az ötödik napon, ismét a juhoknak köszönhetően, kiderült számomra a kis herceg életének titka. Mi domandò bruscamente, senza preamboli, come il frutto di un problema meditato a lungo in silenzio: Er fragte mich unvermittelt, ohne Vorrede, wie die Frucht eines Problems, über das lange schweigend nachgedacht wurde: He asked me brusquely, without preamble, as the result of a long-pondered problem in silence: Preambulum nélkül kérdezte tőlem, mert egy probléma eredményeként hosszú ideig csendben meditált: 彼は、長い間黙って考えていた問題の結実として、前置きもなく突然私に尋ねた: Ele me perguntou abruptamente, sem preâmbulos, como fruto de um problema meditado por muito tempo em silêncio: Он спросил меня внезапно, без преамбулы, в результате проблемы, над которой долго молчали:

"Does a sheep eat shrubs and eat flowers?" "A sheep eats everything it finds." «Sì. "Sogar die Blumen, die Dornen haben?" "Jep. "Even the flowers that have thorns?" "Yes. Anche i fiori che hanno le spine». Sogar die Blumen, die Dornen haben ». Even the flowers that have thorns ".

"So what are the reasons for what they are for?"

Non lo sapevo. Ich wusste es. I did not know. At that moment I was very busy trying to unscrew a too tight bolt of my engine. I was worried because my health was beginning to appear very serious and the drinking water that was consumed made me fear the worst.

"The thorns what are they for?"

The little prince never gave up a question he had asked. Ero irritato per il mio bullone e risposi a casaccio: Ich war irritiert von meinem Bolzen und antwortete planlos: I was irritated by my bolt and replied haphazardly: Izgatott a csavarom, és véletlenül válaszoltam:

"The thorns are useless, it's pure wickedness on the part of the flowers." "A tövis a semmire jó, ez a virágok tiszta gonoszsága."

«Oh!» "Oh!"

Ma dopo un silenzio mi gettò in viso con una specie di rancore: Aber nach einem Schweigen warf er mir mit einer Art Groll ins Gesicht: But after a silence he threw me into the face with a kind of resentment: Pero tras un silencio me echó en cara una especie de rencor: De egy csend után egyfajta haraggal arcra dobott:

"I do not believe you! I fiori sono deboli. Die Blüten sind schwach. The flowers are weak. A virágok gyengék. Sono ingenui. Sie sind naiv. They are naive. Eles são ingênuos. Si rassicurano come possono. Sie beruhigen sich so gut sie können. They reassure themselves as they can. Se tranquilizan lo mejor que pueden. They think they are terrible with their thorns ... "I didn't answer. Se creen terribles con sus espinas...". No respondí. In quel momento mi dicevo: In diesem Moment sagte ich mir: At that moment I said to myself:

"If this bolt still resists, I'll blow it with a hammer blow." The little prince again disturbed my reflections.

«E tu credi, tu, che i fiori...» "Und du glaubst, du, dass die Blumen ..." "And you believe, that the flowers ..."

«Ma no! "Aber nein! "But no! Ma no! But no! Non credo niente! Ich glaube nichts! I don't believe anything! Ho risposto una cosa qualsiasi. Alles, was ich beantwortet habe. I answered anything. Eu respondi qualquer coisa. I deal with serious things, I! "He looked at me in amazement. Komoly dolgokkal foglalkozom, én! "Döbbenten nézett rám. Eu trato de coisas sérias, eu!» Ele me olhou maravilhado.

«Di cose serie!» "Von ernsten Dingen!" "Of serious things!"

He saw me with the hammer in his hand, the black fingers of lard, bent over an object that seemed very ugly to him.

«Parli come i grandi!» "Ihr redet wie Erwachsene!" "You talk like grown-ups!"

Ne ebbi un po' di vergogna. Ich schämte mich ein wenig dafür. I felt a little ashamed. Me sentí un poco avergonzada. Fiquei um pouco envergonhado disso. Ma, senza pietà, aggiunse: Aber gnadenlos fügte er hinzu: But, without mercy, he added:

«Tu confondi tutto... tu mescoli tutto!» "Du verwechselst alles ... du verwechselst alles!" "You confuse everything ... you mix everything!" "Összekever mindent ... összekever mindent!"

Era veramente irritato. Er war wirklich genervt. He was really irritated. Nagyon ingerült. Scuoteva al vento i suoi capelli dorati. He shook his golden hair in the wind. Aranyszőrzetét rázta a szélben.

"I know a planet on which there is a Mr. Chermisi. "Ismerek egy bolygót, amelyen Mr. Chermisi található. He never breathed a flower. Soha nem lélegzett le egy virágot. Non ha mai guardato una stella. Er hat noch nie einen Stern angeschaut. He never looked at a star. Non ha mai voluto bene a nessuno. Er hat nie jemanden geliebt. He never loved anyone. Soha nem szeretett senkit. Ele nunca amou ninguém. Non fa altro che addizioni. Es macht nichts als Ergänzungen. All he does is add. Csak hozzáteszi. And all day long he repeats like you: "I am a serious man! Io sono un uomo serio! " Ich bin ein ernster Mann! " I'm a serious man! " e si gonfia di orgoglio. und schwillt an vor Stolz. and swells with pride. és büszkén megduzzad. But he's not a man, he's a mushroom! " De ő nem ember, gomba!

«Che cosa?» "Was?" "What?"

«Un fungo!» "A mushroom!"

The little prince was now white with anger.

„Seit Jahrtausenden machen Blumen Dornen. "Flowers have been making thorns for thousands of years. "A virágok már évezredek óta töviseket készítenek. Allerdings fressen Schafe seit Tausenden von Jahren Blumen. However, sheep have been eating flowers for thousands of years. A juh azonban évezredek óta virágot evett.

«And is it not a serious thing to try to understand why the flowers are so busy that they are making thorns that are useless? Isn't the war between the sheep and the flowers important? Isn't it more serious and more important than the addition of a big red man? " Er errötete und fuhr dann fort: And if I know a flower unique in the world, which does not exist anywhere, other than on my planet, and that a small sheep can suddenly destroy, so one morning, without realizing what it does, this is not important!

«If someone loves a flower, of which there is only one specimen in millions and millions of stars, this is enough to make him happy when he looks.

«E lui si dice: "Il mio fiore è là in qualche luogo. And he says to himself:" My flower is there somewhere. «But if the sheep eats the flower, it is as if for him all of a sudden, all the stars would go out! And this is not important! " És ez nem fontos!

Non poté proseguire. Er konnte nicht weitermachen. He could not continue. Nem tudta folytatni. Scoppiò bruscamente in singhiozzi. Sie brach abrupt in Schluchzen aus. Suddenly he burst into sobs. Hirtelen zokogásra robbant. Ela começou a soluçar abruptamente. Era caduta la notte. Die Nacht war hereingebrochen. Night had fallen. Az éjszaka elmúlt. A noite havia caído. Avevo abbandonato i miei utensili. Ich hatte meine Werkzeuge aufgegeben. I had abandoned my tools. Elhagytam az eszközöket. I didn't care about my hammer, my bolt, about thirst and death. On a star, a planet, mine, the Earth, there was a little prince to console! Lo presi in braccio. Ich nahm ihn in meine Arme. I picked him up. Megfogtam a karjaimat. Eu o peguei em meus braços. Lo cullai. Ich habe ihn gerockt. I cradled it. Megráztam. Eu balancei ele. I said to him: "The flower you love is not in danger ... I will draw a muzzle for your sheep ... and a breastplate for your flower ... I ...". Azt mondtam neki: "A szeretett virág nincs veszélyben ...

I didn't really know what to tell him. Nem tudtam, mit mondjak neki. Mi sentivo molto maldestro. Ich fühlte mich sehr unbeholfen. I felt very clumsy. Non sapevo come toccarlo, come raggiungerlo...
