#23 Danilo & Rita – Montagne di rifiuti #Nr. 23 Danilo & Rita - Berge von Abfall # 23 Danilo & Rita - Mountains of waste #23 Danilo & Rita - Montañas de residuos #23 Danilo & Rita - Les montagnes de déchets #23 Danilo & Rita - Montanhas de lixo

Hai messo fuori la pattumiera? Did you put the dustbin out? ¿Sacaste el cubo de basura?

Si, ho messo fuori ben due pattumiere, oggi ritirano il vetro e la carta Yes, I put out two trash cans, today they collect the glass and the paper Sí, saqué dos botes de basura, hoy se llevan el vaso y el papel

E domani?

Domani c’è umido e la plastica. Morgen ist es nass und plastisch. Tomorrow there is wet and plastic.

Well, I have to say you're good at remembering, I ... well, there's .. they give us the calendar, and it's true, where everything is written.

And I know, however, this recycling is a real nuisance. On the other hand if we do not do so soon we find ourselves submerged by a lot of waste.

We have the place for the plastic that is gigantic and every day is always full all because anything you buy has huge wrappers, small packs bigger then can bigger still, to finish with the box.

Was wollen Sie tun? What we want to do is we are in the era of consumerism and then everything is thrown away. But if you already think about the times of our great-grandparents there were those who went from house to house to collect all the waste material that then was very little, however, these people collected both ferrous metals and rags is all that people He discarded.

The "stracciaio" when I was a child also passed Milan and I was afraid because my mother told me that the bad children were sold to the "stralta" and then you had to be good, but in the morning when I felt I was hiding.

The absurdity is that these people were dying of hunger because, in short, people would recycle everything, if you had the socks with the hole your mother darned them, but today you take and throw away everything. Infatti vedi che oggi fioriscono aziende che riciclano tutto materiale. In fact, you see that today companies that recycle all material flourish. There are specialized companies, for example, that dismantle all the electronic equipment and even manage to recover the gold on the contacts, as they do is really an incredible thing.

It is also right that this happens because if we could really recycle all the conditions on the planet would improve a lot. We here in northern Italy have a good recycling rate in Milan it seems to me that it exceeds 80% and it is very good and because the citizens have been accustomed little by little to this policy, in the south Italy instead we know that it is still a disaster.

In fact lately there have been really problems to dispose of all the tons of waste that are thrown away every day and this is something really impressive how much stuff we throw away continuously. Instead, once there was not this problem because even when you went shopping you took your bag, you brought the bottle and the shopkeeper filled it with oil rather than other things and brought you home.

And it is to be faster in purchases and to more easily distribute products and so on, for convenience we say on the part of both the producer and the consumer. But then it collides on an environmental level, I remember that the sugar was taken by weight and put it in the paper, then made a small package by closing it with your hands.

And I know this packaging is a convenience but we are paying a lot, because, first of all, pay the packaging at the time of purchase because who produces the product and puts it in the plastic package of paper whatever you want to a nice moment makes you pay for this packaging and then it costs us to throw it away because, you know, the collection of waste at a rather heavy cost for citizens. While, I told you, once you went to the grocer, you went to the store and brought your pack to fill you up and bring it home. per quello che le famiglie, una volta,  buttavamo via quasi niente. Für welche Familien haben wir einst fast nichts weggeworfen. for what families, once, we threw away almost nothing. Just throw things away when you could not do without it anymore.

Yes, even the clothes were recycled and the children always wore the same things as older siblings and so on and then the socks were sewn. I also remember the nylons of mommy mummy darned, now they throw away. It is true that and under certain points of view things cost less than once, they are less expensive, relatively, while once a pair of socks were an investment so you could not easily throw them away.

Yes, in fact, they adjusted everything because there were also many people who were doing the job on the street, who with their carts with their equipment turned the streets and repaired everything repaired the pots. There were those who, in fact, repaired the pots and who rebuilt the blades to the scissors, the knives and I remember this is a figure that remained for a long time, especially in the country, which went around with this huge bike where behind had this grindstone, put the bicycle on the stand and turning the pedals turned the grindstone and so sharpened the blades of the knives and the scissors that people used to do, in fact, repair or sharpen. Today, however, when a pair of scissors breaks, a knife breaks, you do not throw it away, go to the supermarket and buy another one.

And then there was the umbrella maker Pippo the umbrella is still in Milan, but now I saw that the umbrella and the knife grinder have become the same person because there is not enough work for an umbrella maker and a knife grinder separated and then they got together or one retired and that other one does everything and this means that there is little work for these people

Well, for the umbrella surely, today who is he who repairs an umbrella? Even this go to the supermarket there are those Chinese umbrellas that cost just a few cents, when it breaks and breaks after 5 minutes because they are made just a little 'to spend little and when you break take and throw it away. Once the umbrella, on the other hand, was a good that was instead well preserved and kept as a precious tool.

And it is true, now they are practically disposable because then at the first gust of wind they break, overturn and throw themselves. But one this way every time you buy one of a different color, at least women do so they choose depending on the mood.

Okay, on the one hand the factories work because they keep producing, but they produce something that lasts you a little time and then you have to throw it away.

And yes this is why the gross domestic product is forced to increase every year if you want to avoid the crisis, because the economy is set up in this way and then there is the problem of the environment that is very difficult to manage . But I must say that after the first moment of discouragement in which I found myself in trouble dividing things I feel good and I like it, I am satisfied with the idea of being able to recycle everything even the paper, I use a lot of writing paper to make notes to print with the computer and then throw it away separately I'm happy because then it will be recycled and no other trees will be cut.

Yes, this is true, however, you see that landfills are increasing in number and also in volume to produce use and throw away .... Well, I do not know I'm always of the idea and it's not a good policy. In fact today when you take a salary, today's society practically makes you spend everything until the last lira, because you have to buy this you have to buy that and just used is no longer a good one, you throw away a little for fashion a bit 'for other things in fact, in short, you do not then have a penny in your pocket. The same applies to children who have all these games, apart from the giant packs, and games last a moment and then you have to buy others that is very bad for the mentality that is created for children who then become big and the adults of the future and are convinced that it is normal to use a game three days and then want another, this is terrible, now with Christmas again on television it does nothing but publicize new games children want them and want those there, if you give him another you've found at a good price but it's not what's on the television the children cry, now it is so.
