En kafejo, post pluraj semajnoj (Kabe sukcesis lerni Esperanton, kaj ili nun uzas la lingvon. ) Ina: Jen, rigardu, invitilo por IJK! Kabe: Kio, I-J-kio?

Ina: I-J-K estas ‘Internacia Junulara Kongreso'. Mi planas iri al ĝi. Ĉu ankaŭ vi volas iri?

Kabe: Nu… ‘kongreso' ne sonas tre interese.

Ina: Sed estas! Ne pensu pri iu teda malvigla kongreso. Simple temas pri renkonto kun junuloj de multaj landoj. Verŝajne estos 300 ĝis 400 homoj tie, kaj preskaŭ ĉiuj parolos Esperanton.

Kabe: Bone, sed mi ne bone parolas Esperanton.

Ina: Ne gravas, eblas partopreni en Esperanto-kursoj tie. Kutime estas du niveloj, unu por komencantoj kaj alia por homoj, kiuj jam eklernis la lingvon.

En kafejo, post pluraj semajnoj (Kabe sukcesis lerni Esperanton, kaj ili nun uzas la lingvon. In a cafe, after several weeks (Kabe managed to learn Esperanto, and they now use the language. Kabe:   Kio, I-J-kio? Kabe: What, IJ-what? Kabe: Quoi, IJ-quoi?

Ina:      I-J-K estas ‘Internacia Junulara Kongreso'. Female: IJK is an 'International Youth Congress'. Mi planas iri al ĝi. I plan to go to it. J'ai l'intention d'y aller. Ĉu ankaŭ vi volas iri? Do you want to go too? Tu veux y aller aussi?

Kabe:   Nu… ‘kongreso' ne sonas tre interese. Kabe: Eh bien… le «congrès» ne semble pas très intéressant.

Ina:      Sed estas! Female: But it is! Femme: Mais ça l'est! Ne pensu pri iu teda malvigla kongreso. Don’t think of any boring sluggish convention. Ne pensez à aucune convention paresseuse ennuyeuse. Simple temas pri renkonto kun junuloj de multaj landoj. It is simply a meeting with young people from many countries. Il s'agit simplement d'une rencontre avec des jeunes de nombreux pays. Verŝajne estos 300 ĝis 400 homoj tie, kaj preskaŭ ĉiuj parolos Esperanton. There will probably be 300 to 400 people there, and almost all of them will speak Esperanto. Il y aura probablement 300 à 400 personnes là-bas, et presque tout le monde parlera l'espéranto.

Kabe:   Bone, sed mi ne bone parolas Esperanton.

Ina:      Ne gravas, eblas partopreni en Esperanto-kursoj tie. Female: No matter, it is possible to participate in Esperanto courses there. Femme: Peu importe, il est possible d'y participer à des cours d'espéranto. Kutime estas du niveloj, unu por komencantoj kaj alia por homoj, kiuj jam eklernis la lingvon. There are usually two levels, one for beginners and another for people who have already started learning the language. Il y a généralement deux niveaux, un pour les débutants et un pour les personnes qui ont déjà commencé à apprendre la langue.
