collins listening, 7- 47

7- 47

1. A: So what do you think about the new law regarding using alternative energy in all new houses?

B: To be honest, I'm not convinced that it's a great plan. It's going to be very expensive.

2. A: I think we should visit the nuclear power station as part of our research for this module.

B: I couldn't agree more. And hopefully, we'll be able to interview some of the staff there.

3. A: For me, geothermal energy is clearly the best option for governments to invest in for the future.

B: Mm, I'm with you on that, but like all things it depends on the amount of investment.

4. A: What I particularly like about using hydrogen as energy is that it is environmentally friendly.

B: Well, I haven't seen any reports to support that, so I wouldn't like to say.
