English Convos with Camille (Interview with Melodie), PART 2.2 Melodie

PART 2.2 Melodie

Camille: And so you have traveled a lot with your family. Where, like where's your the favorite place that you've been to?

Melodie: Yeah, that was one of the questions that I was thinking about, and, so, to say a favorite place I think would be really hard, because every place is so amazing, and has like things that are so unique, um, but I would say right now my favorite city is Copenhagen.

Camille: Yeah, so, um, Copenhagen because of architectural design, which really runs in my family, design in general, but especially with buildings, they're like on the cutting edge, and then, um, also the culture is so hospitable, and so like, um, walking and biking, and just healthy like outdoor living, and healthy food, and good coffee, and so I really really enjoyed Copenhagen.

Camille: Would you ever move there for a period of your life, for a short, not forever, but like say six months, or one year?

Melodie: I think that I would, um, definitely have a second home somewhere in Europe, like I've always thought of France, I just love the French countryside, and but even Scandinavia, somewhere in Scandinavia, I would do like a second home. Camille: Because you're Scandinavian as well. Do you know like the percentages of your background of your ancestors?

Melodie: I think my brother may know. Camille: Okay. I know that we're Swedish, and Finnish, uh, probably and Norwegian primarily. Um, I know we have some Spain somewhere in there.

Camille: Yeah, that's cool.

Melodie: So, but, yeah, high percentage Swedish and Finnish.

Camille: So would you ever learn a Scandinavian language?

Melodie: Maybe, yeah, especially if I had a second home there, like I think I'd have more incentive. Totally, yeah.
