Camille: So, after college then, what did you do?

Melodie: So, I actually got married in the middle of college. Okay. Met my husband, and got married, and then after college, I ended up getting pregnant right away. First month out of college, I got pregnant. And I had a really bad pregnancy, I had hyper emesis, and I was sick for about 7 months of my pregnancy.

Camille: Oh, that's a lot, that's like almost the whole thing, pregnancy lasts 9 months if you didn't know.

Melodie: Yes, so, I had you know, a couple months, that I felt good but.

Camille: How old were you when you got married, what is your husband's name?

Melodie: So, I got married, I actually turned 21 on my honeymoon, wow, so, I was pretty young, I was 20. My husband's name is Jed, I was 23, 24 when I had my first son.

Camille: So, wow, and then you stayed at home with your son?

Melodie: Yep, so then I wasn't able, yeah, so I graduated from nursing school, had a job lined up, but I was sick, for 7 months, so I wasn't able to start nursing and then I had a baby, so I ended up staying home, which I am really happy because then with my two other kids, I stayed home with all my kids, and now they are all in school, so my life is in like a different phase. Yeah, but I did devote that time to my kids and my home and creating an atmosphere that was a good childhood.
