Hawaii missile alert on my iPhone - Hawaii under attack!?

It was an ordinary Saturday in Kona, Hawaii. Calvin had got out early to go garage saling with Maddox, who was 4 years old at the time. I remained at home with our one year old, Ivory. I was organizing the house and all of a sudden I received an alert on my phone that there was an incoming missile alert to Hawaii, and it advised residents to seek shelter immediately and finished with, “This is not a drill!” I tried calling and texting Calvin with no luck. I remember praying and being like, wow, if this is the end of my life, I guess I want to leave this earth clean and not sweaty. Ivory was napping so I took a shower and shaved my legs. My neighbors were outside praying together. I imagined the worst. I thought to myself, “What if Calvin is already gone?” The thoughts that go through your mind when you're facing possible death are crazy! Well, 38 minutes later there was another announcement saying the message had been sent by accident and there was NOT an incoming missile. I finally got ahold of Calvin who had just been out enjoying his time. He hadn't even checked his phone to see the alert. As they say, ignorance is bliss. Let's just say we loved each other a little deeper that day and reflected on life and all of the blessings that we do have. We were thankful for another day on this earth.
