Wait. Oh, yeah. I don't have a dog.

Aw. I really want a puppy. Hmm. That's OK.

We can make a puppy and all we'll need

is a sheet of paper, some scissors, and a marker

or a pencil or a pen,

anything that you can kind of draw with, basically.

I'm using a marker just to make sure

that you guys can see it.

Now. Let's start.

First, we're going to grab our sheet of paper over here

and we're going to grab one of the corners.

We're going to fold it nice and flat.

It should look like this.

We have a giant triangle and we have a rectangle,

but we're going to focus on the triangle,

which is why we got to get rid of this rectangle.

How are we going to do that, you may ask.

With scissors.

Make sure you have a grown up with you

when you use these things.

Do your best to follow this line right here.

Let's do it together. Here we go.

This is the dog's face.

We're going to be folding the ears.

Actually, the best way to think of it is like

this is a giant mountain

and we're going to fold the corners up to make peaks.

You can make it any size you want,

but I like to make it about this size so that

there's another mountain peak right here.

Hey look, another triangle.

What, what?! All right.

And we're going to do the same thing on this side.

[sings] Making another peak, we're making another peak.

There we go.

Do you guys see the dog head yet?

No? What about now?

Huh? We have the floppy ears right over here

and now we need to make the snout

a little bit less pointy.

We're going to fold up this point right over here

and try to get it to the center like this.

right over here and I'm going to make,

maybe it looks kind of like a J here,

and a reverse J, right over here.

And now, little spots. Adds a little personality.

Now it's time for me to draw the eyes

a flop, Open the ears here,

and what I like to do is, I like to draw a big oval

like this and do the same on the other side.

[vocalizing] Perfect.

And a darker oval right in the center.
