Pohádky (ženský hlas), 04. Hrátky s čertem

Proto jde přenocovat do starého pustého mlýna, aby zjistil, zdali tam opravu straší a jestli on sám pozná, co je to strach.

04. Hrátky s čertem 04. Das Spiel mit dem Teufel 04\. Devil's games

Playing with the Devil is a fairy-tale play written by the Czech writer Jan Drda during the Nazi occupation.

The main elements of this work are supernatural or already legendary figures of a hermit and a robber, but also confidence in an ordinary Czech man, represented by the main character a retired soldier, a simple man Martin Kabát. It bothers him that he can't be afraid. Proto jde přenocovat do starého pustého mlýna, aby zjistil, zdali tam opravu straší a jestli on sám pozná, co je to strach. That's why he goes to spend the night in an old desolate mill to find out if the repair is haunting there and if he knows what the fear is. But the devil wanted to sign up with her own blood, Princess Dišperanda and her friend, the maid Káča, so that they would finally have the groom they both longed for. Potrestán je i neskromný poustevník a místní loupežník Sarka Farka.
