今天 我要 介绍 一位 中国 人 的 老朋友 ， 他 来自 远 在 欧洲 的 意大利 。 他 曾经 来到 古代 的 中国 ， 并 把 中国 介绍 给 世界 。

马可 · 波罗 小 的 时候 就 从 父亲 和 叔叔 的 口中 听说 了 有关 中国 的 事情 ， 于是 决定 跟着 他们 来到 中国 看一看 。 由于 中国 和 欧洲 的 距离 很 远 ， 人们 很少 互相 交流 ， 更 不用说 来回 于 这 两个 地方 了 。 但是 ， 马可 · 波罗 就 做到 了 ， 他花 了 好几年 时间 ， 终于 来到 元朝 帝国 大都 ， 也 就是 现在 的 北京 。

马可 · 波罗 在 中国 生活 了 二十年 左右 ， 他 不仅 了解 了 中国 人 的 生活 ， 还 游览 了 很多 地方 ， 甚至 还 在 中国 做官 。 回到 意大利 后 ， 他 给 我们 留下 了 一本 《 马可 · 波罗 游记 》， 这 本书 被 翻译成 各种 语言 ， 在 欧洲 引起 了 轰动 。 在 书 里面 ， 人们 看到 了 一个 栩栩如生 的 中国 ， 看到 了 中国 人 的 日常生活 和 风俗习惯 ， 看到 了 中国 美丽 的 山水 和 繁华 的 城市 。 还有 人 说 ， 马可 · 波罗 把 中国 美食 带到 了 欧洲 ， 比如 冰激凌 、 面条 和 烧饼 等等 。

马可 · 波罗 的 书 里面 有 这么 多 奇怪 的 东西 ， 一 开始 人们 并 不 相信 他 ， 还 讽刺 他 说大话 。 但是 后来 ， 随着 人们 对 中国 的 了解 越来越 多 ， 欧洲人 终于 相信 中国 确实 是 这样 的 。 不过 ， 现在 有 一些 历史学家 说 ， 其实 马可 · 波罗 可能 根本 没有 到 过 中国 ， 他书 里面 的 内容 都 是 假 的 。 而且 ， 在 中国 的 历史 资料 里面 ， 也 确实 没有 提到 过马 可 · 波罗 这么 一个 人 。 但 我 相信 ，《 马可 · 波罗 游记 》 的 作者 肯定 是 见 过 中国 ， 喜爱 中国 的 。

马可 · 波罗 的 书 里面 有 这么 多 奇怪 的 东西 ， 一 开始 人们 并 不 相信 他 ， 还 讽刺 他 说大话 。 There are so many weird things in Marco Polo's book that people didn't believe him at first, and they satirized him with big talk. 但是 后来 ， 随着 人们 对 中国 的 了解 越来越 多 ， 欧洲人 终于 相信 中国 确实 是 这样 的 。 不过 ， 现在 有 一些 历史学家 说 ， 其实 马可 · 波罗 可能 根本 没有 到 过 中国 ， 他书 里面 的 内容 都 是 假 的 。 However, some historians now say that Marco Polo may not have been to China at all, and the content in his book is false. 而且 ， 在 中国 的 历史 资料 里面 ， 也 确实 没有 提到 过马 可 · 波罗 这么 一个 人 。 Moreover, there is indeed no mention of such a person as Marco Polo in Chinese historical materials. 但 我 相信 ，《 马可 · 波罗 游记 》 的 作者 肯定 是 见 过 中国 ， 喜爱 中国 的 。 But I believe that the author of "Marco Polo's Travels" must have seen and loved China.
