黄帝 的 时候 还有 一个 部落 首领 叫 炎帝 ， 中国 人 认为 他们 两人 是 中国 人 的 祖先 ， 而且 把 自己 叫 “ 炎黄子孙 ”。 At the time of the Yellow Emperor, there was also a tribal leader called Yandi, and the Chinese people regarded the two of them as the ancestors of the Chinese people, and called themselves the "Children of Yan Huang" ( 炎黄子孙).

尝 各种 草 很 危险 。 It's dangerous to taste all kinds of grass. 有时候 炎帝 吃 完草 觉得 很 舒服 ， 他 就 知道 这种 草有 治病 的 作用 。 Sometimes, when Yandi felt very comfortable after eating the grass, he knew that the grass had the effect of curing diseases. 可是 有时候 吃 了 以后 ， 他 的 肚子 特别 疼 ， 他 就 知道 这种 草 有毒 ， 不能 吃 。 However, sometimes after eating it, his tummy would feel very painful, so he knew that this kind of grass was poisonous and should not be eaten. 如果 草太毒 了 ， 他会 很多 天 都 不 舒服 ， 还会 有 危险 。 If the grass is too poisonous, he will not feel well for many days and he will be in danger.

一天 ， 炎帝 吃 了 有毒 的 草 ， 觉得 肚子疼 ， 就 在 一棵树 下 烧水 。 One day, Yandi ate a poisonous herb and felt pain in his stomach, so he boiled water under a tree. 树上 的 叶子 落 了 下来 ， 掉 在 他 的 锅里 。 The leaves fell from the trees and fell into his pot. 炎帝 喝 了 有 树叶 的 水 ， 看到 这种 水在 他 肚子 里 ， 把 他 的 肚子 洗 干净 了 ， 身体 也 马上 好 了 。 When Emperor Yan Di drank the water with the leaves in it, he saw that the water was in his stomach, and his stomach was cleansed, and his body was healed at once. 炎帝 明白 了 ， 这种 树 的 叶子 能 解毒 。 Emperor Yan Di realized that the leaves of this tree could be used to detoxify the body. 这 就是 我们 今天 的 茶叶 。 This is the tea we have today.
