耶穌 過去 的 時候 ， 看見 一個 人 生來 是 瞎眼 的 。 門徒 問 耶穌 說 ： 拉比 ， 這人 生來 是 瞎眼 的 ， 是 誰 犯了罪 ？ 是 這人 呢 ？ 是 他 父母 呢 ？ 耶穌 回答 說 ： 也 不是 這人 犯了罪 ， 也 不是 他 父母 犯了罪 ， 是 要 在 他 身上 顯出 神 的 作為 來 。 趁著 白日 ， 我們 必須 做 那 差 我 來者 的 工 ； 黑夜 將到 ， 就 沒有 人能 做工 了 。 我 在 世上 的 時候 ， 是 世上 的 光 。 耶穌 說 了 這話 ， 就 吐 唾沫 在 地上 ， 用 唾沫 和 泥 抹 在 瞎子 的 眼睛 上 ， 對 他 說 ： 你 往 西羅亞 池子 裡去 洗 （ 西羅亞 繙 出來 就是 奉 差遣 ）。 他 去 一洗 ， 回頭 就 看見 了 。 他 的 鄰舍 和 那 素 常見 他 是 討飯 的 ， 就 說 ： 這 不是 那 從前 坐著 討飯 的 人麼 ？ 有人 說 ： 是 他 ； 又 有人 說 ； 不是 ， 卻是 像 他 。 他 自己 說 ： 是 我 。 他們 對 他 說 ： 你 的 眼睛 是 怎麼 開 的 呢 ？ 他 回答 說 ： 有 一個 人 ， 名叫 耶穌 ， 他 和 泥 抹 我 的 眼睛 ， 對 我 說 ： 你 往 西羅 亞 池子 去 洗 。 我 去 一洗 ， 就 看見 了 。 他們 說 ： 那個 人 在 那裡 ？ 他 說 ： 我 不 知道 。 他們 把 從前 瞎眼 的 人 帶到 法利賽 人 那裡 。 耶穌 和 泥 開 他 眼睛 的 日子 是 安息日 。 法利賽 人 也 問他 是 怎麼 得 看見 的 。 瞎子 對 他們 說 ： 他 把 泥 抹 在 我 的 眼睛 上 ， 我 去 一洗 ， 就 看見 了 。 法利賽 人中 有 的 說 ： 這個 人 不 是從 神來 的 ， 因為 他 不守 安息日 。 又 有人 說 ： 一個 罪人 怎能 行 這樣 的 神蹟 呢 ？ 他們 就 起 了 分爭 。 他們 又 對 瞎子 說 ： 他 既然 開 了 你 的 眼睛 ， 你 說 他 是 怎樣 的 人 呢 ？ 他 說 ： 是 個 先知 。 猶太人 不信 他 從前 是 瞎眼 ， 後來 能 看見 的 ， 等到 叫 了 他 的 父母 來 ， 問 他們 說 ： 這是 你們 的 兒子 麼 ？ 你們 說 他 生來 是 瞎眼 的 ， 如今 怎麼 能 看見 了 呢 ？ 他 父母 回答 說 ： 他 是 我們 的 兒子 ， 生來 就 瞎眼 ， 這是 我們 知道 的 。 至於 他 如今 怎麼 能 看見 ， 我們 卻 不 知道 ； 是 誰 開 了 他 的 眼睛 ， 我們 也 不 知道 。 他 已經 成 了 人 ， 你們 問 他 罷 ， 他 自己 必能 說 。 他 父母 說 這話 ， 是 怕 猶太人 ； 因為 猶太人 已經 商議 定 了 ， 若 有 認 耶穌 是 基督 的 ， 要 把 他 趕出 會堂 。 因此 他 父母 說 ： 他 已經 成 了 人 ， 你們 問他罷 。 所以 法利賽 人 第二次 叫 了 那 從前 瞎眼 的 人來 ， 對 他 說 ： 你 該 將 榮耀 歸 給 神 ， 我們 知道 這人 是 個 罪人 。 他 說 ： 他 是 個 罪人 不是 ， 我 不 知道 ； 有 一件 事 我 知道 ， 從前 我 是 眼瞎 的 ， 如今 能 看見 了 。 他們 就問 他 說 ： 他 向 你 做 甚麼 ？ 是 怎麼 開 了 你 的 眼睛 呢 ？ 他 回答 說 ： 我 方才 告訴 你們 ， 你們 不 聽 ， 為 甚麼 又 要 聽 呢 ？ 莫非 你們 也 要 作 他 的 門徒 麼 ？ 他們 就 罵 他 說 ： 你 是 他 的 門徒 ； 我們 是 摩西 的 門徒 。 神對 摩西 說話 是 我們 知道 的 ； 只是 這個 人 ， 我們 不 知道 他 從 那裡 來 ！ 那 人 回答 說 ： 他開 了 我 的 眼睛 ， 你們 竟 不 知道 他 從 那裡 來 ， 這 真是 奇怪 ！ 我們 知道 神 不聽 罪人 ， 惟有 敬奉 神 、 遵行 他 旨意 的 ， 神才 聽 他 。 從 創世 以來 ， 未曾 聽見 有人 把 生來 是 瞎子 的 眼睛 開 了 。 這人 若 不 是從 神來 的 ， 甚麼 也 不能 做 。 他們 回答 說 ： 你 全然 生 在 罪孽 中 ， 還要 教訓 我們 麼 ？ 於是 把 他 趕出去 了 。 耶穌 聽說 他們 把 他 趕出去 ， 後來 遇見 他 ， 就 說 ： 你 信神 的 兒子 麼 ？ 他 回答 說 ： 主阿 ， 誰 是 神 的 兒子 ， 叫 我 信 他 呢 ？ 耶穌 說 ： 你 已經 看見 他 ， 現在 和 你 說話 的 就是 他 。 他 說 ： 主阿 ， 我信 ！ 就 拜 耶穌 。 耶穌 說 ： 我 為 審判 到 這 世 上來 ， 叫 不能 看見 的 ， 可以 看見 ； 能 看見 的 ， 反 瞎了眼 。 同 他 在 那裡 的 法利賽 人 聽見 這話 ， 就 說 ： 難道 我們 也 瞎了眼 麼 ？ 耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 你們 若 瞎了眼 ， 就 沒有 罪 了 ； 但 如今 你們 說 我們 能 看見 ， 所以 你們 的 罪 還在 。

耶穌 過去 的 時候 ， 看見 一個 人 生來 是 瞎眼 的 。 As Jesus passed by, he saw a man born blind. 門徒 問 耶穌 說 ： 拉比 ， 這人 生來 是 瞎眼 的 ， 是 誰 犯了罪 ？ The disciples asked Jesus, "Rabbi, this man was born blind, who sinned? 是 這人 呢 ？ 是 他 父母 呢 ？ 耶穌 回答 說 ： 也 不是 這人 犯了罪 ， 也 不是 他 父母 犯了罪 ， 是 要 在 他 身上 顯出 神 的 作為 來 。 Jesus replied, It was not this man who sinned, nor his parents sinning, but that the works of God might be revealed in him. 趁著 白日 ， 我們 必須 做 那 差 我 來者 的 工 ； 黑夜 將到 ， 就 沒有 人能 做工 了 。 While it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me; the night will come, and no one will be able to work. 我 在 世上 的 時候 ， 是 世上 的 光 。 When I was on earth, I was the light of the world. 耶穌 說 了 這話 ， 就 吐 唾沫 在 地上 ， 用 唾沫 和 泥 抹 在 瞎子 的 眼睛 上 ， 對 他 說 ： 你 往 西羅亞 池子 裡去 洗 （ 西羅亞 繙 出來 就是 奉 差遣 ）。 When Jesus had said this, he spit on the ground, and smeared the blind man's eyes with spit and mud, and said to him, "Go and wash in the pool of Siloam." 他 去 一洗 ， 回頭 就 看見 了 。 He went to wash, and when he looked back, he saw it. 他 的 鄰舍 和 那 素 常見 他 是 討飯 的 ， 就 說 ： 這 不是 那 從前 坐著 討飯 的 人麼 ？ His neighbors and Nasu saw that he was a beggar, so they said, "Isn't this the man who used to sit begging?" 有人 說 ： 是 他 ； 又 有人 說 ； 不是 ， 卻是 像 他 。 Some say: It is him; others say; No, but like him. 他 自己 說 ： 是 我 。 他們 對 他 說 ： 你 的 眼睛 是 怎麼 開 的 呢 ？ 他 回答 說 ： 有 一個 人 ， 名叫 耶穌 ， 他 和 泥 抹 我 的 眼睛 ， 對 我 說 ： 你 往 西羅 亞 池子 去 洗 。 我 去 一洗 ， 就 看見 了 。 I went to wash and saw it. 他們 說 ： 那個 人 在 那裡 ？ 他 說 ： 我 不 知道 。 他們 把 從前 瞎眼 的 人 帶到 法利賽 人 那裡 。 They brought the formerly blind man to the Pharisees. 耶穌 和 泥 開 他 眼睛 的 日子 是 安息日 。 The day Jesus and the mud opened his eyes was the Sabbath. 法利賽 人 也 問他 是 怎麼 得 看見 的 。 The Pharisees also asked him how he got his sight. 瞎子 對 他們 說 ： 他 把 泥 抹 在 我 的 眼睛 上 ， 我 去 一洗 ， 就 看見 了 。 法利賽 人中 有 的 說 ： 這個 人 不 是從 神來 的 ， 因為 他 不守 安息日 。 又 有人 說 ： 一個 罪人 怎能 行 這樣 的 神蹟 呢 ？ Others said: How could a sinner perform such a miracle? 他們 就 起 了 分爭 。 They had a quarrel. 他們 又 對 瞎子 說 ： 他 既然 開 了 你 的 眼睛 ， 你 說 他 是 怎樣 的 人 呢 ？ 他 說 ： 是 個 先知 。 猶太人 不信 他 從前 是 瞎眼 ， 後來 能 看見 的 ， 等到 叫 了 他 的 父母 來 ， 問 他們 說 ： 這是 你們 的 兒子 麼 ？ The Jews did not believe that he was blind, but that he was able to see, so he called his parents and asked them, "Is this your son?" 你們 說 他 生來 是 瞎眼 的 ， 如今 怎麼 能 看見 了 呢 ？ You say he was born blind, how can he see now? 他 父母 回答 說 ： 他 是 我們 的 兒子 ， 生來 就 瞎眼 ， 這是 我們 知道 的 。 至於 他 如今 怎麼 能 看見 ， 我們 卻 不 知道 ； 是 誰 開 了 他 的 眼睛 ， 我們 也 不 知道 。 As to how he can see now, we do not know; who opened his eyes, we do not know. 他 已經 成 了 人 ， 你們 問 他 罷 ， 他 自己 必能 說 。 He has become a man. Ask him, and he will be able to speak for himself. 他 父母 說 這話 ， 是 怕 猶太人 ； 因為 猶太人 已經 商議 定 了 ， 若 有 認 耶穌 是 基督 的 ， 要 把 他 趕出 會堂 。 His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews; for the Jews had agreed that if anyone confessed Jesus to be the Christ, he would be cast out of the synagogue. 因此 他 父母 說 ： 他 已經 成 了 人 ， 你們 問他罷 。 所以 法利賽 人 第二次 叫 了 那 從前 瞎眼 的 人來 ， 對 他 說 ： 你 該 將 榮耀 歸 給 神 ， 我們 知道 這人 是 個 罪人 。 So the Pharisees called the formerly blind man a second time and said to him, Glory to God, we know that this man was a sinner. 他 說 ： 他 是 個 罪人 不是 ， 我 不 知道 ； 有 一件 事 我 知道 ， 從前 我 是 眼瞎 的 ， 如今 能 看見 了 。 He said: Is he a sinner or not, I don't know; one thing I know, I was blind before, but now I can see. 他們 就問 他 說 ： 他 向 你 做 甚麼 ？ They asked him: What has he done to you? 是 怎麼 開 了 你 的 眼睛 呢 ？ 他 回答 說 ： 我 方才 告訴 你們 ， 你們 不 聽 ， 為 甚麼 又 要 聽 呢 ？ He replied: I told you just now, but you don't listen, why do you listen again? 莫非 你們 也 要 作 他 的 門徒 麼 ？ Do you also want to be his disciples? 他們 就 罵 他 說 ： 你 是 他 的 門徒 ； 我們 是 摩西 的 門徒 。 神對 摩西 說話 是 我們 知道 的 ； 只是 這個 人 ， 我們 不 知道 他 從 那裡 來 ！ We know what God spoke to Moses; it's just this man, we don't know where he came from! 那 人 回答 說 ： 他開 了 我 的 眼睛 ， 你們 竟 不 知道 他 從 那裡 來 ， 這 真是 奇怪 ！ The man replied: He opened my eyes, and it is strange that you do not know where he came from! 我們 知道 神 不聽 罪人 ， 惟有 敬奉 神 、 遵行 他 旨意 的 ， 神才 聽 他 。 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but only those who serve God and do His will will listen to Him. 從 創世 以來 ， 未曾 聽見 有人 把 生來 是 瞎子 的 眼睛 開 了 。 Since the foundation of the world, no one has ever been heard opening the eyes of a man born blind. 這人 若 不 是從 神來 的 ， 甚麼 也 不能 做 。 If this man is not from God, he cannot do anything. 他們 回答 說 ： 你 全然 生 在 罪孽 中 ， 還要 教訓 我們 麼 ？ They answered, "You are born in sin, do you still teach us?" 於是 把 他 趕出去 了 。 So he was thrown out. 耶穌 聽說 他們 把 他 趕出去 ， 後來 遇見 他 ， 就 說 ： 你 信神 的 兒子 麼 ？ 他 回答 說 ： 主阿 ， 誰 是 神 的 兒子 ， 叫 我 信 他 呢 ？ He answered: Lord, who is the Son of God that I should believe in him? 耶穌 說 ： 你 已經 看見 他 ， 現在 和 你 說話 的 就是 他 。 Jesus said: You have seen him, and now it is he who is speaking to you. 他 說 ： 主阿 ， 我信 ！ 就 拜 耶穌 。 耶穌 說 ： 我 為 審判 到 這 世 上來 ， 叫 不能 看見 的 ， 可以 看見 ； 能 看見 的 ， 反 瞎了眼 。 Jesus said: I came into this world for judgment, so that those who cannot see may see, and those who can see will be blinded. 同 他 在 那裡 的 法利賽 人 聽見 這話 ， 就 說 ： 難道 我們 也 瞎了眼 麼 ？ When the Pharisees who were with him heard this, they said, Are we also blind? 耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 你們 若 瞎了眼 ， 就 沒有 罪 了 ； 但 如今 你們 說 我們 能 看見 ， 所以 你們 的 罪 還在 。 Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say we can see, so your sin is still there.
