約翰福音15
我 是 真 葡萄樹 ， 我父 是 栽培 的 人 。
I am the true vine, and my Father is the cultivator.
凡 屬 我 不 結果 子 的 枝子 ， 他 就 剪 去 ； 凡 結果 子 的 ， 他 就 修理 乾淨 ， 使 枝子 結果 子 更 多 。
Every branch of mine that bears no fruit he cuts off; every branch that bears fruit he prunes so that it may bear more fruit.
現在 你們 因 我 講給 你們 的 道 ， 已經 乾淨 了 。
Now you are cleansed by the word I have spoken to you.
你們 要常 在 我裡面 ， 我 也 常 在 你們 裡面 。
You shall abide in me, and I shall abide in you.
枝子 若不常 在 葡萄樹 上 ， 自己 就 不能 結果 子 ； 你們 若不常 在 我裡面 ， 也 是 這樣 。
If a branch does not abide in the vine, it cannot bear fruit of its own; unless you abide in me, neither will you.
我 是 葡萄樹 ， 你們 是 枝子 。
常在 我裡面 的 ， 我 也 常 在 他裡面 ， 這人 就 多 結果 子 ； 因為 離 了 我 ， 你們 就 不能 做 甚麼 。
He who abides in me, and I abide in him, bear much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing.
人若 不常 在 我裡面 ， 就 像 枝子 丟在 外面 枯乾 ， 人 拾 起來 ， 扔 在 火 裡 燒 了 。
If a man does not abide in me, he is like a branch that is thrown out and withered, but is picked up and thrown into the fire and burned.
你們 若常 在 我裡面 ， 我 的話 也 常 在 你們 裡面 ， 凡 你們 所 願意 的 ， 祈求 ， 就給 你們 成就 。
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done to you.
你們 多 結果 子 ， 我父 就 因此 得 榮耀 ， 你們 也 就是 我 的 門徒 了 。
My Father is glorified by your fruitfulness, and you are my disciples.
我愛你 們 ， 正如 父愛 我 一樣 ； 你們 要常 在 我 的 愛裡 。
I love you as the Father loves me; abide in my love.
你們 若 遵守 我 的 命令 ， 就 常 在 我 的 愛裡 ， 正如 我 遵守 了 我父 的 命令 ， 常 在 他 的 愛裡 。
If you keep my commandments, abide in my love, just as I keep my Father's commands and abide in his love.
這些 事 我 已經 對 你們 說 了 ， 是 要 叫 我 的 喜樂 存在 你們 心裡 ， 並叫 你們 的 喜樂 可以 滿足 。
I have said these things to you, that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be full.
你們 要 彼此 相愛 ， 像 我愛你 們 一樣 ； 這 就是 我 的 命令 。
人為 朋友 捨命 ， 人 的 愛心 沒有 比 這個 大 的 。
There is no greater love for a man than for laying down his life for his friends.
你們 若 遵行 我 所 吩咐 的 ， 就是 我 的 朋友 了 。
以後 我 不再 稱 你們 為 僕人 ， 因 僕人 不 知道 主人 所 做 的 事 。
I will no longer call you servants, because servants do not know what their masters do.
我 乃 稱 你們 為 朋友 ； 因 我 從 我 父所 聽見 的 ， 已經 都 告訴 你們 了 。
I call you friends; for I have told you all that I have heard from my Father.
不是 你們 揀選 了 我 ， 是 我 揀選 了 你們 ， 並且 分派 你們 去 結果 子 ， 叫 你們 的 果子 常存 ， 使 你們 奉 我 的 名 ， 無論 向 父求 甚麼 ， 他 就 賜給 你們 。
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to bear fruit, that your fruit may abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
我 這樣 吩咐 你們 ， 是 要 叫 你們 彼此 相愛 。
世人 若恨 你們 ， 你們 知道 （ 或作 ： 該 知道 ）， 恨 你們 以先 已經 恨 我 了 。
If the world hates you, you know (or: ought to know) that it hated me before it hated you.
你們 若 屬 世界 ， 世界 必 愛 屬 自己 的 ； 只 因 你們 不屬 世界 ， 乃是 我 從 世界 中 揀選 了 你們 ， 所以 世界 就 恨 你們 。
If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
你們 要 記念 我 從前 對 你們 所說 的話 ： 僕人 不能 大於 主人 。
Remember what I said to you before: A servant cannot be greater than a master.
他們 若 逼迫 了 我 ， 也 要 逼迫 你們 ； 若 遵守 了 我 的話 ， 也 要 遵守 你們 的話 。
If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my words, they will keep yours.
但 他們 因 我 的 名要 向 你們 行 這 一切 的 事 ， 因為 他們 不 認識 那差 我 來 的 。
But they will do all these things to you in my name, because they do not know him who sent me.
我 若 沒有 來 教訓 他們 ， 他們 就 沒有 罪 ； 但 如今 他們 的 罪 無可 推諉 了 。
If I had not come to teach them, they would have no sin; but now their sin is beyond excuse.
恨 我 的 ， 也 恨 我 的 父 。
我 若 沒有 在 他們 中間 行過 別人 未曾 行 的 事 ， 他們 就 沒有 罪 ； 但 如今 連我 與 我 的 父 ， 他們 也 看見 也 恨惡 了 。
If I had not done in their midst what no one else has done, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and hated me and my Father.
這要 應驗 他們 律法 上 所寫 的話 ， 說 ： 他們 無故 的 恨 我 。
This will fulfill what is written in their law, saying: They hate me without cause.
但 我 要 從父 那裡 差 保惠師 來 ， 就 是從 父 出來 真理 的 聖靈 ； 他來 了 ， 就要 為 我作 見證 。
But I will send the Comforter from the Father, the Holy Spirit of truth from the Father; and when he comes, he will bear witness to me.
你們 也 要 作 見證 ， 因為 你們 從 起頭 就 與 我 同 在 。
You too shall be witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.
