到 了 早晨 ， 眾祭 司長 和 民間 的 長老 大家 商議 要治死 耶穌 ， 就 把 他 捆綁 ， 解去 ， 交給 巡撫 彼 拉多 。 這時候 ， 賣 耶穌 的 猶大 看見 耶穌 已經 定 了 罪 ， 就 後悔 ， 把 那 三十塊 錢 拿 回來 給祭 司長 和 長老 ， 說 ： 我 賣 了 無辜 之人 的 血 是 有罪 了 。 他們 說 ： 那 與 我們 有 甚麼 相干 ？ 你 自己 承當 罷 ！ 猶大 就 把 那 銀錢 丟在 殿裡 ， 出去 吊死 了 。 祭 司長 拾起 銀錢 來 ， 說 ： 這是 血價 ， 不可 放在 庫裡 。 The chief priests picked up the money and said, "This is the price of blood, and it is not to be put in the treasury." 他們 商議 ， 就 用 那 銀錢 買 了 窯戶 的 一塊 田 ， 為 要 埋葬 外鄉人 。 They consulted, and with the money they bought a field of the potter, in order to bury the stranger. 所以 那塊 田 直到 今日 還 叫做 血田 。 So that field is still called the blood field to this day. 這就 應驗 了 先知 耶利米 的話 ， 說 ： 他們 用 那 三十塊 錢 ， 就是 被 估定 之 人 的 價錢 ， 是 以色列 人中 所 估定 的 ， 買 了 窯戶 的 一塊 田 ； 這是 照著 主所 吩咐 我 的 。 This fulfilled the words of the prophet Jeremiah, saying: They bought a potter's field for the thirty pieces of money, the price of those who were appraised, which was appraised among the children of Israel; this is according to the Lord commanded me. 耶穌 站 在 巡撫 面前 ； 巡撫 問他 說 ： 你 是 猶太人 的 王麼 ？ 耶穌 說 ： 你 說 的 是 。 他 被 祭 司長 和 長老 控告 的 時候 ， 甚麼 都 不 回答 。 When he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. 彼 拉多 就 對 他 說 ： 他們 作 見證 告 你 這麼 多 的 事 ， 你 沒有 聽見 麼 ？ Pilate said to him, They testify against you of so many things, have you not heard? 耶穌 仍 不 回答 ， 連 一句 話 也 不 說 ， 以致 巡撫 甚覺 希奇 。 Jesus still did not answer, not even a word, to the astonishment of the governor. 巡撫 有 一個 常例 ， 每逢 這 節期 ， 隨眾 人 所 要 的 釋放 一個 囚犯 給 他們 。 It was the custom of the governor to release a prisoner to them every time of the season, as they wished. 當時 有 一個 出名 的 囚犯 叫 巴拉巴 。 At that time there was a famous prisoner named Barabbas. 眾人 聚集 的 時候 ， 彼 拉多 就 對 他們 說 ： 你們 要 我 釋放 那 一個 給 你們 ？ 是 巴拉巴 呢 ？ 是 稱 為 基督 的 耶穌 呢 ？ Is it Jesus who is called the Christ? 巡撫 原 知道 他們 是 因為 嫉妒 才 把 他 解 了 來 。 The governor knew that they had gotten him out of jealousy. 正 坐堂 的 時候 ， 他 的 夫人 打發 人 來說 ： 這義人 的 事 ， 你 一點 不可 管 ， 因為 我 今天 在 夢 中 為 他 受 了 許多 的 苦 。 When he was sitting in the hall, his wife sent someone to say: You must not take care of this righteous man, because I have suffered a lot for him today in my dreams. 祭 司長 和 長老 挑唆 眾人 ， 求 釋放 巴拉巴 ， 除滅 耶穌 。 The chief priests and elders challenged the crowd to ask for the release of Barabbas and the destruction of Jesus. 巡撫 對眾 人 說 ： 這 兩個 人 ， 你們 要 我 釋放 那 一個 給 你們 呢 ？ The governor said to the crowd: Of these two, which one do you want me to release to you? 他們 說 ： 巴拉巴 。 彼 拉多 說 ： 這樣 ， 那稱 為 基督 的 耶穌 我 怎麼辦 他 呢 ？ Pilate said: So what shall I do with Jesus, who is called Christ? 他們 都 說 ： 把 他 釘 十字架 ！ 巡撫 說 ： 為 甚麼 呢 ？ Governor says: Why? 他作 了 甚麼 惡事 呢 ？ 他們 便 極力 的 喊 著 說 ： 把 他 釘 十字架 ！ They shouted with all their might: Crucify him! 彼 拉多 見 說 也 無濟於事 ， 反要 生亂 ， 就 拿 水 在 眾人 面前 洗手 ， 說 ： 流 這義人 的 血 ， 罪 不在 我 ， 你們 承當 罷 。 When Pilate saw that it was of no use, but that chaos was going to break out, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying, I am not to blame for the blood of this righteous man, and you bear it. 眾人 都 回答 說 ： 他 的 血歸到 我們 和 我們 的 子孫 身上 。 All the people answered: His blood is on us and on our children. 於是 彼 拉多 釋放 巴拉巴 給 他們 ， 把 耶穌 鞭打 了 ， 交給 人釘 十字架 。 巡撫 的 兵 就 把 耶穌 帶 進 衙門 ， 叫 全營 的 兵 都 聚集 在 他 那裡 。 The governor's soldiers took Jesus into the yamen, and gathered the whole battalion with him. 他們 給他 脫 了 衣服 ， 穿 上 一件 朱 紅色 袍子 ， 用 荊棘 編做 冠冕 ， 戴 在 他 頭上 ， 拿 一根 葦子 放在 他 右手 裡 ， 跪 在 他 面前 ， 戲弄 他 ， 說 ： 恭喜 ， 猶太人 的 王 阿 ！ 又 吐 唾沫 在 他 臉上 ， 拿 葦子 打 他 的頭 。 戲弄 完 了 ， 就給 他 脫 了 袍子 ， 仍 穿 上 他 自己 的 衣服 ， 帶 他 出去 ， 要 釘 十字架 。 When the teasing was over, he took off his robe, still putting on his own clothes, and took him out to be crucified. 他們 出來 的 時候 ， 遇見 一個 古利 奈人 ， 名叫 西門 ， 就 勉強 他同 去 ， 好 背著 耶穌 的 十字架 。 When they came out, they met a man from Cyrene named Simon, and they forced him to go with him, so that he could carry the cross of Jesus. 到 了 一個 地方 名叫 各 各 他 ， 意思 就是 髑髏 地 。 He came to a place called Golgotha, which means Calvary. 兵丁 拿 苦膽 調和 的 酒給 耶穌 喝 。 The soldiers gave Jesus wine mixed with gall. 他 嘗 了 ， 就 不肯 喝 。 He tasted it, but refused to drink it. 他們 既將 他 釘 在 十字架 上 ， 就 拈鬮 分 他 的 衣服 ， 又 坐在 那裡 看守 他 。 When they had crucified him, they cast lots to divide his clothes, and they sat there to watch over him. 在 他頭 以上 安 一個 牌子 ， 寫著 他 的 罪狀 ， 說 ： 這是 猶太人 的 王 耶穌 。 當時 ， 有 兩個 強盜 和 他 同 釘 十字架 ， 一個 在 右邊 ， 一個 在 左邊 。 從 那裡 經過 的 人 譏誚 他 ， 搖著頭 ， 說 ： 你 這 拆毀 聖殿 、 三日 又 建造 起來 的 ， 可以 救 自己 罷 ！ Those who passed by sneered at him, shook their heads, and said, Save yourself, you who demolished the temple and built it up in three days! 你 如果 是 神 的 兒子 ， 就 從 十字架 上 下來 罷 ！ If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross! 祭 司長 和 文士 並 長老 也 是 這樣 戲弄 他 ， 說 ： 他 救 了 別人 ， 不能 救 自己 。 他 是 以色列 的 王 ， 現在 可以 從 十字架 上 下來 ， 我們 就 信 他 。 He is the king of Israel, and now we can come down from the cross and we will believe in him. 他 倚靠 神 ， 神若 喜悅 他 ， 現在 可以 救 他 ； 因為 他 曾 說 ： 我 是 神 的 兒子 。 那 和 他 同 釘 的 強盜 也 是 這樣 的 譏誚 他 。 The thief who was crucified with him mocked him in the same way. 從午 正到 申初 ， 遍地 都 黑暗 了 。 From noon to early Shen, darkness was everywhere. 約 在 申初 ， 耶穌 大聲 喊 著 說 ： 以利 ！ About the beginning of the day, Jesus cried out with a loud voice: Eli! 以利 ！ 拉 馬撒 巴 各大尼 ？ Rama Sabathani? 就是說 ： 我 的 神 ！ That is: My God! 我 的 神 ！ 為 甚麼 離棄 我 ？ 站 在 那裡 的 人 ， 有 的 聽見 就 說 ： 這個 人 呼叫 以 利亞 呢 ！ Some of those standing there heard it and said, "This man is calling Elijah!" 內中 有 一個 人 趕緊 跑 去 ， 拿海絨 蘸 滿 了 醋 ， 綁 在 葦子 上 ， 送給 他 喝 。 One of them ran quickly, filled the sea wool with vinegar, tied it to a reed, and gave it to him to drink. 其餘 的 人 說 ： 且 等 著 ， 看以 利亞 來 救 他 不來 。 The rest said, "Wait and see if Elijah comes to save him or not." 耶穌 又 大聲喊叫 ， 氣就斷 了 。 Jesus cried out again, and died. 忽然 ， 殿裡 的 幔子 從上到下 裂為 兩半 ， 地 也 震動 ， 磐石 也 崩裂 ， 墳墓 也 開 了 ， 已 睡 聖徒 的 身體 多有 起來 的 。 Suddenly the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth shook, the rocks were torn apart, the tombs were opened, and many bodies of saints who had fallen asleep rose up. 到 耶穌 復活 以後 ， 他們 從 墳墓 裡 出來 ， 進 了 聖城 ， 向 許多 人 顯現 。 After the resurrection of Jesus, they came out of the tomb, entered the holy city, and appeared to many people. 百夫長 和 一同 看守 耶穌 的 人 看見 地震 並所 經歷 的 事 ， 就 極其 害怕 ， 說 ： 這 真是 神 的 兒子 了 ！ When the centurion and his guards saw the earthquake and what happened, they were terrified and said, "This is really the Son of God!" 有 好些 婦女 在 那裡 ， 遠遠 的 觀看 ； 他們 是從 加利利 跟隨 耶穌 來 服事 他 的 。 There were many women there, watching from a distance; they had followed Jesus from Galilee to serve him. 內中 有 抹 大拉 的 馬利亞 ， 又 有 雅各 和約 西 的 母親 馬利亞 ， 並有 西庇 太 兩個 兒子 的 母親 。 Among them was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Jacob and Joseph, and the mother of the two sons of Zebedee. 到 了 晚上 ， 有 一個 財主 ， 名叫 約瑟 ， 是亞 利馬 太來 的 ， 他 也 是 耶穌 的 門徒 。 In the evening, there was a rich man named Joseph from Arimathea, who was also a disciple of Jesus. 這人 去 見 彼 拉多 ， 求 耶穌 的 身體 ； 彼 拉多 就 吩咐 給他 。 The man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus; and Pilate ordered it to be given to him. 約瑟 取 了 身體 ， 用 乾淨 細 麻布 裹好 ， 安放 在 自己 的 新 墳墓 裡 ， 就是 他 鑿 在 磐石 裡的 。 Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his new tomb, which he had hewn out of the rock. 他 又 把 大石頭 滾到 墓 門口 ， 就 去 了 。 He rolled the big stone to the entrance of the tomb again, and went away. 有 抹 大拉 的 馬利亞 和 那個 馬利亞 在 那裡 ， 對著 墳墓 坐著 。 Mary Magdalene and that Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb. 次日 ， 就是 預備 日 的 第二天 ， 祭 司長 和 法利賽 人 聚集 來見 彼 拉多 ， 說 ： 大人 ， 我們 記得 那 誘惑 人 的 還活 著 的 時候 曾 說 ： 三日 後 我 要 復活 。 The next day, the second day of the preparation day, the chief priests and the Pharisees assembled to Pilate, and said, "My lord, we remember that the tempter said while he was still alive: In three days I will rise again. 因此 ， 請 吩咐 人將 墳墓 把守 妥當 ， 直到 第三日 ， 恐怕 他 的 門徒 來 ， 把 他 偷 了 去 ， 就 告訴 百姓 說 ： 他 從 死裡 復活 了 。 Therefore, command the tomb to be guarded until the third day, lest his disciples come and steal him and tell the people: He has risen from the dead. 這樣 ， 那 後來 的 迷惑 比 先前 的 更 利害 了 ！ Thus, the latter confusion is more profitable than the former! 彼 拉多 說 ： 你們 有 看守 的 兵 ， 去罷 ！ 盡 你們 所能 的 把守 妥當 。 Do your best to keep it safe. 他們 就 帶 著 看守 的 兵同 去 ， 封 了 石頭 ， 將 墳墓 把守 妥當 。
