耶穌 說完 了 這 一切 的話 ， 就 對 門徒 說 ： 你們 知道 ， 過 兩天 是 逾越節 ， 人 子 將要 被 交給 人 ， 釘 在 十字架 上 。 When Jesus had said all these words, he said to his disciples, You know that in two days it will be the Passover, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified. 那時 ， 祭 司長 和 民間 的 長老 聚集 在 大祭司 稱為 該亞法 的 院裡 。 大家 商議 要 用 詭計 拿 住 耶穌 ， 殺 他 ， 只是 說 ： 當節 的 日子 不可 ， 恐怕 民間 生亂 。 They all agreed to use tricks to take Jesus and kill him, but they said: Not on the day of the festival, lest there will be chaos among the people. 耶穌 在 伯大尼 長大 痲 瘋 的 西門 家裡 ， 有 一個 女人 拿 著 一 玉瓶 極貴 的 香膏 來 ， 趁 耶穌 坐席 的 時候 ， 澆 在 他 的 頭上 。 Jesus was at the house of Simon the leper in Bethany, and a woman came with an alabaster bottle of very expensive ointment, and poured it on Jesus' head while he was sitting at the table. 門徒 看見 就 很 不 喜悅 ， 說 ： 何用 這樣 的 枉費 呢 ！ When the disciples saw it, they were very displeased and said, "What's the use of such a waste! 這 香膏 可以 賣 許多 錢 ， 賙濟 窮人 。 This ointment can be sold for a lot of money to give to the poor. 耶穌 看出 他們 的 意思 ， 就 說 ： 為 甚麼 難為 這 女人 呢 ？ 他 在 我 身上 做 的 是 一件 美事 。 因為 常有 窮人 和 你們 同 在 ； 只是 你們 不 常有 我 。 他將 這 香膏 澆 在 我 身上 是 為 我 安葬 做 的 。 He poured this ointment on me for my burial. 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 普天之下 ， 無論 在 甚麼 地方 傳 這 福音 ， 也 要 述說 這 女人 所行 的 ， 作個 紀念 。 當下 ， 十二 門徒 裡有 一個 稱為 加略 人 猶大 的 ， 去 見 祭 司長 ， 說 ： 我 把 他 交給 你們 ， 你們 願意 給我 多少錢 ？ At this moment, one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, "I hand him over to you. How much are you willing to give me?" 他們 就給 了 他 三十塊 錢 。 They gave him thirty dollars. 從 那 時候 ， 他 就 找 機會 要 把 耶穌 交給 他們 。 除酵節 的 第一天 ， 門徒 來問 耶穌 說 ： 你 吃 逾越節 的 筵席 ， 要 我們 在 那裡給 你 預備 ？ On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and said, "Where do you want us to prepare the Passover meal for you?" 耶穌 說 ： 你們 進城 去 ， 到 某人 那裡 ， 對 他 說 ： 夫子 說 ： 我 的 時候 快到 了 ， 我 與 門徒 要 在 你家 裡守 逾越節 。 Jesus said: Go into the city, go to someone, and say to him, The Master said, My hour is coming, and I and my disciples will keep the Passover in your house. 門徒 遵著 耶穌 所 吩咐 的 就 去 預備 了 逾越節 的 筵席 。 The disciples went and prepared the Passover feast as Jesus commanded. 到 了 晚上 ， 耶穌 和 十二個 門徒 坐席 。 In the evening, Jesus and the twelve disciples were at dinner. 正 吃 的 時候 ， 耶穌 說 ： 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 你們 中間 有 一個 人要 賣 我 了 。 While they were eating, Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me. 他們 就 甚 憂愁 ， 一個 一個 的 問他 說 ： 主 ， 是 我麼 ？ 耶穌 回答 說 ： 同 我 蘸 手 在 盤子 裡的 ， 就是 他 要 賣 我 。 人 子 必要 去世 ， 正如 經上 指著 他 所寫 的 ； 但 賣 人子 的 人 有 禍 了 ！ 那人 不生 在 世上 倒好 。 It would be better if the man was not born. 賣 耶穌 的 猶大 問他 說 ： 拉比 ， 是 我麼 ？ 耶穌 說 ： 你 說 的 是 。 Jesus said: You said yes. 他們 吃 的 時候 ， 耶穌 拿 起餅 來 ， 祝福 ， 就 擘 開 ， 遞給 門徒 ， 說 ： 你們 拿 著 吃 ， 這是 我 的 身體 ； 又 拿 起杯 來 ， 祝謝 了 ， 遞給 他們 ， 說 ： 你們 都 喝 這個 ； 因為 這是 我 立約 的 血 ， 為 多 人流 出來 ， 使罪 得 赦 。 但 我 告訴 你們 ， 從今以後 ， 我 不再 喝 這 葡萄汁 ， 直到 我 在 我父 的 國裡 同 你們 喝 新 的 那 日子 。 But I tell you, from now on I will drink no more of this grape juice until the new day when I drink with you in the kingdom of my Father. 他們 唱 了詩 ， 就 出來 往 橄欖 山去 。 They sang the hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives. 那時 ， 耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 今夜 ， 你們 為 我 的 緣故 都 要 跌倒 。 Then Jesus said to them: Tonight you will all stumble because of me. 因為 經上 記著 說 ： 我要 擊打 牧人 ， 羊 就 分散 了 。 For it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered. 但 我 復活 以後 ， 要 在 你們 以先往 加利利 去 。 But after my resurrection, I will go before you to Galilee. 彼得 說 ： 眾人 雖然 為 你 的 緣故 跌倒 ， 我 卻 永不 跌倒 。 Peter said: Though all fall for your sake, I will never fall. 耶穌 說 ： 我 實在 告訴 你 ， 今夜 雞叫 以先 ， 你 要 三次 不認 我 。 彼得 說 ： 我 就是 必須 和 你 同死 ， 也 總 不能不 認 你 。 眾 門徒 都 是 這樣 說 。 All the disciples said so. 耶穌 同 門徒 來到 一個 地方 ， 名叫 客 西馬 尼 ， 就 對 他們 說 ： 你們 坐在 這裡 ， 等 我 到 那邊 去 禱告 。 When Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, he said to them, Sit here until I go there and pray. 於是 帶著 彼得 和 西庇 太 的 兩個 兒子 同 去 ， 就 憂愁 起來 ， 極其 難過 ， 便 對 他們 說 ： 我心 裡甚是 憂傷 ， 幾乎 要死 ； 你們 在 這裡 等候 ， 和 我 一同 儆 醒 。 So he took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him, and he became distressed, and was very distressed, and said to them, My heart is so distressed that I am about to die; wait here, and watch with me. 他 就 稍 往前走 ， 俯伏 在 地 ， 禱告 說 ： 我父 阿 ， 倘若 可行 ， 求 你 叫 這杯 離開 我 。 He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. 然而 ， 不要 照 我 的 意思 ， 只要 照 你 的 意思 。 來到 門徒 那裡 ， 見 他們 睡著 了 ， 就 對 彼得 說 ： 怎麼樣 ？ When he came to his disciples, and saw that they were asleep, he said to Peter, "How is it? 你們 不能 同 我儆醒 片時 麼 ？ 總要 儆 醒 禱告 ， 免得 入 了 迷惑 。 Always watch and pray lest you fall into temptation. 你們 心靈 固然 願意 ， 肉體 卻 軟弱 了 。 Your spirit is willing, but your flesh is weak. 第二次 又 去 禱告 說 ： 我父 阿 ， 這杯 若 不能 離開 我 ， 必要 我 喝 ， 就 願 你 的 意旨 成全 。 又 來 ， 見 他們 睡著 了 ， 因為 他們 的 眼睛 困倦 。 And came again, and saw them asleep, because their eyes were weary. 耶穌 又 離開 他們 去 了 。 Jesus left them again. 第三次 禱告 ， 說 的話 還是 與 先前 一樣 。 於是 來到 門徒 那裡 ， 對 他們 說 ： 現在 你們 仍然 睡覺 安歇 罷 （ 罷 ： 或 作麼 ？ ）！ 時候 到 了 ， 人子 被 賣 在 罪人 手裡 了 。 The time has come when the Son of Man has been sold into the hands of sinners. 起來 ！ stand up! 我們 走罷 。 看 哪 ， 賣 我 的 人近 了 。 說話 之間 ， 那 十二個 門徒 裡的 猶大 來 了 ， 並有 許多 人帶 著刀 棒 ， 從 祭 司長 和 民間 的 長老 那裡 與 他 同來 。 While he was speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and many with swords and clubs came with him from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 那賣 耶穌 的 給了 他們 一個 暗號 ， 說 ： 我 與 誰 親嘴 ， 誰 就是 他 。 The one who betrayed Jesus gave them a sign, saying: Whoever I kiss is he. 你們 可以 拿 住 他 。 You can hold him. 猶大 隨即 到 耶穌 跟前 ， 說 ： 請 拉比 安 ， 就 與 他 親嘴 。 Judas immediately went to Jesus and said, Rabbi, and kissed him. 耶穌 對 他 說 ： 朋友 ， 你 來 要 做 的 事 ， 就 做罷 。 於是 那些 人 上前 ， 下手 拿 住 耶穌 。 So the men came forward and took Jesus in their hands. 有 跟隨 耶穌 的 一個 人 伸手 拔出 刀來 ， 將 大祭司 的 僕人 砍 了 一刀 ， 削掉 了 他 一個 耳朵 。 耶穌 對 他 說 ： 收刀 入鞘罷 ！ Jesus said to him: Put your sword in its sheath! 凡 動刀 的 ， 必死 在 刀 下 。 你 想 ， 我 不能 求 我父 現在 為 我 差遣 十二 營多 天使 來麼 ？ You think, can't I ask my Father to send twelve battalions of angels for me now? 若 是 這樣 ， 經上 所說 ， 事情 必須 如此 的話 怎麼 應驗 呢 ？ If so, how can the scriptures say that things must be so? 當時 ， 耶穌 對眾 人 說 ： 你們 帶著 刀 棒 出來 拿 我 ， 如同 拿 強盜 麼 ？ At that time, Jesus said to the crowd, "Did you come out with swords and clubs to take me as a robber? 我 天天 坐在 殿裡 教訓 人 ， 你們 並 沒有 拿 我 。 但 這 一切 的 事 成就 了 ， 為 要 應驗 先知 書上 的話 。 But all these things were done to fulfill the words of the prophets. 當下 ， 門徒 都 離開 他 逃走 了 。 Immediately, the disciples all left him and fled. 拿 耶穌 的 人 把 他 帶到 大祭司 該亞法 那裡 去 ； 文士 和 長老 已經 在 那裡 聚會 。 Those who took Jesus took him to Caiaphas, the high priest; there the scribes and elders were already assembled. 彼得 遠遠 的 跟 著 耶穌 ， 直到 大祭司 的 院子 ， 進到 裡面 ， 就 和 差役 同坐 ， 要 看 這事 到底 怎樣 。 Peter followed Jesus at a distance, as far as the high priest's courtyard, and when he entered, he sat down with the officers to see what was going on. 祭 司長 和 全 公會 尋找 假 見證 控告 耶穌 ， 要治死 他 。 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin searched for false witnesses against Jesus to put him to death. 雖 有 好些 人 來作 假 見證 ， 總得 不著 實據 。 Although many people came to bear false witness, they could not get any real evidence. 末後 有 兩個 人 前來 ， 說 ： 這個 人 曾 說 ： 我能 拆毀 神 的 殿 ， 三日 內 又 建造 起來 。 At the end two men came and said: This man said: I can tear down the temple of God and build it up again in three days. 大祭司 就 站 起來 ， 對 耶穌 說 ： 你 甚麼 都 不 回答 麼 ？ 這些 人作 見證 告 你 的 是 甚麼 呢 ？ What are these people testifying against you? 耶穌 卻 不 言語 。 大祭司 對 他 說 ： 我 指著 永生 神叫 你 起誓 告訴 我們 ， 你 是 神 的 兒子 基督 不是 ？ The high priest said to him, I swear by the living God that you are the Christ, the Son of God, are you not? 耶穌 對 他 說 ： 你 說 的 是 。 然而 ， 我 告訴 你們 ， 後來 你們 要 看見 人 子 坐在 那 權能 者 的 右邊 ， 駕著 天上 的 雲 降臨 。 However, I tell you, afterward you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One, coming on the clouds of heaven. 大祭司 就 撕開 衣服 ， 說 ： 他 說 了 僭 妄 的話 ， 我們 何必 再用 見證人 呢 ？ Then the high priest tore his clothes and said: He has spoken blasphemy, why should we use witnesses? 這 僭 妄 的話 ， 現在 你們 都 聽見 了 。 You have heard this blasphemy now. 你們 的 意見 如何 ？ 他們 回答 說 ： 他 是 該死 的 。 They replied: He is damned. 他們 就 吐 唾沫 在 他 臉上 ， 用 拳頭 打 他 ； 也 有 用手掌 打 他 的 ， 說 ： 基督 阿 ！ They spit on his face, and beat him with their fists; and those who beat him with their palms, saying: Christ! 你 是 先知 ， 告訴 我們 打 你 的 是 誰 ？ You are a prophet, tell us who hit you? 彼得 在 外面 院子 裡坐 著 ， 有 一個 使女 前來 ， 說 ： 你 素來 也 是 同 那 加利利 人 耶穌 一夥 的 。 Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, when a maid came and said, You were also with Jesus the Galilean. 彼得 在 眾人 面前 卻 不 承認 ， 說 ： 我 不 知道 你 說 的 是 甚麼 ！ Peter denied it in front of the crowd, saying: I don't know what you are talking about! 既 出去 ， 到 了 門口 ， 又 有 一個 使女 看見 他 ， 就 對 那裡 的 人 說 ： 這個 人 也 是 同 拿 撒勒人 耶穌 一夥 的 。 When he went out to the door, another servant girl saw him and said to those who were there, This man is also with Jesus of Nazareth. 彼得 又 不 承認 ， 並且 起誓 說 ： 我 不 認得 那個 人 。 Peter denied it again, and swore: I don't know the man. 過了 不 多 的 時候 ， 旁邊 站 著 的 人 前來 ， 對 彼得 說 ： 你 真是 他們 一黨 的 ， 你 的 口音 把 你 露 出來 了 。 After a while, someone standing next to him came up and said to Peter: You really belong to them, your accent shows you. 彼得 就 發咒 起誓 的 說 ： 我 不 認得 那個 人 。 Peter cursed and swore, "I don't know that man. 立時 ， 雞 就 叫 了 。 Immediately, the rooster crowed. 彼得 想起 耶穌 所說 的話 ： 雞叫 以先 ， 你 要 三次 不認 我 。 他 就 出去 痛哭 。
