當那 一天 ， 耶穌 從 房子 裡 出來 ， 坐在 海邊 。 有 許多 人到 他 那裡 聚集 ， 他 只得 上船 坐下 ， 眾人 都 站 在 岸上 。 他用 比喻 對 他們 講 許多 道理 ， 說 ： 有 一個 撒種 的 出去 撒種 ； 撒 的 時候 ， 有落 在 路旁 的 ， 飛鳥 來 吃 盡 了 ； 有落 在 土 淺 石頭 地上 的 ， 土 既 不 深 ， 發苗 最快 ， 日頭 出來 一曬 ， 因為 沒有 根 ， 就 枯乾 了 ； 有落 在 荊棘 裡的 ， 荊棘 長 起來 ， 把 他 擠 住 了 ； 又 有 落 在 好 土裡 的 ， 就 結實 ， 有 一百倍 的 ， 有 六 十倍 的 ， 有 三十倍 的 。 He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: A sower went out to sow; while he was sowing, some fell by the side of the road, and the birds came and devoured them; The budding sprouts are the quickest, and the sun comes out as soon as the sun rises, and they wither because they have no roots; some fall on thorns, and thorns grow up and choke him; and some fall on good soil, and bear fruit, and one Hundred times, some sixty times, some thirty times. 有 耳 可 聽 的 ， 就 應當 聽 ！ 門徒 進 前來 ， 問 耶穌 說 ： 對眾 人 講話 ， 為 甚麼 用 比喻 呢 ？ 耶穌 回答 說 ： 因為 天國 的 奧祕 只 叫 你們 知道 ， 不 叫 他們 知道 。 Jesus answered: For the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven are known only to you, and not to them. 凡 有 的 ， 還要 加給 他 ， 叫 他 有餘 ； 凡 沒有 的 ， 連他 所有 的 ， 也 要 奪去 。 所以 我用 比喻 對 他們 講 ， 是 因 他們 看 也 看不見 ， 聽 也 聽不見 ， 也 不 明白 。 So I speak to them in parables, because they can't see, they can't hear, and they don't understand. 在 他們 身上 ， 正應 了 以 賽亞 的 預言 ， 說 ： 你們 聽 是 要 聽見 ， 卻 不 明白 ； 看 是 要 看見 ， 卻 不 曉得 ； 因為 這 百姓 油蒙 了 心 ， 耳朵 發沉 ， 眼睛 閉著 ， 恐怕 眼睛 看見 ， 耳朵 聽見 ， 心裡 明白 ， 回 轉過 來 ， 我 就 醫治 他們 。 In them, they responded to Isaiah’s prophecy, saying: You want to hear, but you don’t understand; you want to see, but you don’t know; because this people is greasy in their hearts, their ears are heavy, their eyes are closed, I'm afraid I can see with my eyes, hear with my ears, understand with my heart, turn around, and I will heal them. 但 你們 的 眼睛 是 有 福 的 ， 因為 看見 了 ； 你們 的 耳朵 也 是 有 福 的 ， 因為 聽見 了 。 But blessed are your eyes, because they have seen; and blessed are your ears, because they have heard. 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 從前 有 許多 先知 和 義人要 看 你們 所 看 的 ， 卻 沒有 看見 ， 要 聽 你們 所 聽 的 ， 卻 沒有 聽見 。 Truly I tell you, there were many prophets and righteous people who wanted to see what you saw, but did not see, and wanted to hear what you heard, but did not hear. 所以 ， 你們 當聽 這 撒種 的 比喻 。 凡 聽見 天國 道理 不 明白 的 ， 那惡者 就 來 ， 把 所 撒 在 他 心裡 的 奪 了 去 ； 這 就是 撒 在 路旁 的 了 。 Whoever hears the word of the kingdom of heaven and does not understand it, the wicked one will come and take away what was sown in his heart; this is what was sown by the wayside. 撒 在 石頭 地上 的 ， 就是 人 聽 了 道 ， 當下 歡喜 領受 ， 只 因心裡 沒有 根 ， 不過 是 暫時 的 ， 及至 為 道 遭 了 患難 ， 或是 受 了 逼迫 ， 立刻 就 跌倒 了 。 What is sown on stony ground is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, because he has no root in his heart, but it is only temporary, and when tribulation or persecution occurs for the sake of the word, he immediately falls. 撒 在 荊棘 裡的 ， 就是 人 聽 了 道 ， 後來 有 世上 的 思慮 、 錢財 的 迷惑 把 道 擠 住 了 ， 不能 結實 。 What is sown among the thorns is the one who hears the word, and then the cares of the world and the delusions of money crowd the word, and it cannot bear fruit. 撒 在 好 地上 的 ， 就是 人 聽 道 明白 了 ， 後來 結實 ， 有 一百倍 的 ， 有 六 十倍 的 ， 有 三十倍 的 。 Those sown on good ground are those who hear the word and understand, and then bear fruit, some a hundred times, some sixty times, and some thirty times. 耶穌 又 設個 比喻 對 他們 說 ： 天國 好像 人撒 好種 在 田裡 ， 及至 人 睡覺 的 時候 ， 有 仇敵 來 ， 將 稗子 撒 在 麥子 裡就 走 了 。 Jesus told them another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while he was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went away. 到 長 苗 吐穗 的 時候 ， 稗子 也 顯 出來 。 When the seedlings grow and spit out the ears, the tares appear. 田主 的 僕人 來 告訴 他 說 ： 主阿 ， 你 不是 撒好種 在 田裡麼 ？ The servant of the farmer came and told him: Lord, did you not sow good seed in the field? 從 那裡 來 的 稗子 呢 ？ Where are the tares from? 主人 說 ： 這是 仇敵 做 的 。 The master said: This is what the enemy did. 僕人 說 ： 你 要 我們 去 薅 出來 麼 ？ The servant said: Do you want us to scoop it out? 主人 說 ： 不必 ， 恐怕 薅 稗子 ， 連 麥子 也 拔出來 。 The master said, "No, I'm afraid the tares will be harvested and even the wheat will be pulled out." 容 這 兩樣 一齊 長 ， 等 著 收割 。 Let the two grow together, waiting to be harvested. 當 收割 的 時候 ， 我要 對 收割 的 人 說 ， 先將 稗子 薅 出來 ， 捆成 捆 ， 留著燒 ； 惟有 麥子 要收 在 倉裡 。 When the harvest comes, I will say to the reapers, First gather the tares, bind them into bundles, and keep them to burn; but the wheat is to be gathered in the barn. 他 又 設個 比喻 對 他們 說 ： 天國 好像 一粒 芥菜 種 ， 有人 拿 去種 在 田裡 。 這原 是 百種 裡 最小 的 ， 等到 長 起來 ， 卻 比 各樣 的 菜 都 大 ， 且 成 了 樹 ， 天上 的 飛鳥 來宿 在 他 的 枝 上 。 This is the smallest of the hundred species, but when it grows, it is bigger than all the vegetables, and it becomes a tree, and the birds of the sky come to live on its branches. 他 又 對 他們 講個 比喻 說 ： 天國 好像 麵 酵 ， 有 婦人 拿來 ， 藏 在 三斗 麵 裡 ， 直等 全團 都 發 起來 。 He told them another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman brought and hid in three measures of flour, until the whole dough rose. 這都 是 耶穌 用 比喻 對眾 人 說 的話 ； 若 不用 比喻 ， 就 不 對 他們 說 甚麼 。 These are the words that Jesus said to the crowd in parables; if there were no parables, he would say nothing to them. 這是 要 應驗 先知 的話 ， 說 ： 我要 開口 用 比喻 ， 把 創世 以來 所 隱藏 的 事 發明 出來 。 This is to fulfill the words of the prophets, saying: I will open my mouth in parables, and invent things that have been hidden from the foundation of the world. 當下 ， 耶穌 離開 眾人 ， 進 了 房子 。 Immediately, Jesus left the crowd and entered the house. 他 的 門徒 進 前來 ， 說 ： 請 把 田間 稗子 的 比喻 講給 我們 聽 。 His disciples came forward and said: Please tell us the parable of the tares in the field. 他 回答 說 ： 那 撒 好種 的 就是 人 子 ； 田地 就是 世界 ； 好種 就是 天國 之子 ； 稗子 就是 那惡者 之子 ； 撒 稗子 的 仇敵 就是 魔鬼 ； 收割 的 時候 就是 世界 的 末了 ； 收割 的 人 就是 天使 。 He replied: He who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man; the field is the world; the good seed is the son of the kingdom; the tares are the son of the evil one; the enemy who sowed the tares is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; the reapers are the angels . 將 稗子 薅 出來 用火 焚燒 ， 世界 的 末了 也 要 如此 。 Pick up the tares and burn them with fire, so it will be at the end of the world. 人子 要 差遣 使者 ， 把 一切 叫 人 跌倒 的 和 作惡 的 ， 從 他 國裡 挑出來 ， 丟在 火爐 裡 ； 在 那裡 必要 哀哭 切齒 了 。 The Son of Man will send his angels, and he will pluck out of his kingdom all stumbles and evildoers, and cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 那時 ， 義人 在 他們 父 的 國裡 ， 要 發出 光來 ， 像 太陽 一樣 。 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. 有 耳 可 聽 的 ， 就 應當 聽 ！ 天國 好像 寶貝 藏 在 地裡 ， 人 遇見 了 就 把 他 藏 起來 ， 歡歡喜喜 的 去 變賣 一切 所有 的 ， 買 這塊 地 。 The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When people find it, they hide it, and they rejoice and sell everything they have to buy the land. 天國 又 好像 買賣人 尋找 好 珠子 ， 遇見 一顆 重價 的 珠子 ， 就 去 變賣 他 一切 所有 的 ， 買 了 這顆 珠子 。 The kingdom of heaven is like a businessman looking for a good pearl, and when he finds a pearl of great value, he goes and sells all that he has and buys the pearl. 天國 又 好像 網撒 在 海裡 ， 聚攏 各樣 水族 ， 網既滿 了 ， 人 就 拉 上岸 來 ， 坐下 ， 揀 好 的 收 在 器具 裡 ， 將 不好 的 丟棄 了 。 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net cast into the sea, and it gathers all kinds of aquatic animals. When the net is full, people pull it ashore, sit down, and gather the good in the utensils, and discard the bad. 世界 的 末了 也 要 這樣 。 天使 要 出來 ， 從義人 中 把 惡人 分別 出來 ， 丟在 火爐 裡 ； 在 那裡 必要 哀哭 切齒 了 。 The angels will come out, and separate the wicked from the righteous, and cast them into the furnace; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 耶穌 說 ： 這 一切 的話 你們 都 明白 了 麼 ？ 他們 說 ： 我們 明白 了 。 他 說 ： 凡 文士 受教作 天國 的 門徒 ， 就 像 一個家 主從 他 庫裡 拿出 新舊 的 東西 來 。 He said: Every scribe who is taught to be a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings old and new things out of his treasury. 耶穌 說完 了 這些 比喻 ， 就 離開 那裡 ， 來到 自己 的 家鄉 ， 在 會堂 裡 教訓 人 ， 甚至 他們 都 希奇 ， 說 ： 這人 從 那裡 有 這等 智慧 和 異能 呢 ？ When Jesus had finished speaking these parables, he left and went to his own country, and taught in the synagogues, and even they were astonished, saying, Where does this man have such wisdom and power? 這 不是 木匠 的 兒子 麼 ？ 他 母親 不是 叫 馬利亞 麼 ？ 他 弟兄們 不是 叫 雅各 、 約西 （ 有古卷 ： 約瑟 ）、 西門 、 猶大 麼 ？ Aren't their brethren named James, Joseph (there is an ancient scroll: Joseph), Simon, and Judas? 他 妹妹 們 不是 都 在 我們 這裡麼 ？ Aren't all his sisters here with us? 這人 從 那裡 有 這 一切 的 事 呢 ？ Where did this man have all this? 他們 就 厭棄 他 （ 厭棄 他 ： 原文 是 因 他 跌倒 ）。 And they rejected him (rejected him: because he fell). 耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 大凡 先知 ， 除了 本地 本家 之外 ， 沒有 不 被 人 尊敬 的 。 Jesus said to them: There is no prophet who is not respected except his own family. 耶穌 因為 他們 不 信 ， 就 在 那裡 不 多行 異能 了 。 Because of their unbelief, Jesus did not many miracles there.
