馬太福音11

耶穌 吩咐 完 了 十二個 門徒 ， 就 離開 那裡 ， 往 各城 去 傳道 ， 教訓 人 。 約翰 在 監裡 聽見 基督 所作 的 事 ， 就 打發 兩個 門徒 去 ， 問他 說 ： 那 將要 來 的 是 你麼 ？ 還是 我們 等候 別人 呢 ？ 耶穌 回答 說 ： 你們 去 ， 把 所 聽見 ， 所 看見 的 事 告訴 約翰 。 就是 瞎子 看見 ， 瘸子 行走 ， 長大 痲 瘋 的 潔淨 ， 聾子 聽見 ， 死人 復活 ， 窮人 有 福音 傳給 他們 。 凡 不 因 我 跌倒 的 就 有 福 了 ！ 他們 走 的 時候 ， 耶穌 就 對 眾人 講論 約翰 說 ： 你們 從前 出 到 曠野 是 要 看 甚麼 呢 ？ 要 看 風吹 動 的 蘆葦 麼 ？ 你們 出去 到底 是 要 看 甚麼 ？ 要 看穿 細軟 衣服 的 人麼 ？ 那 穿 細軟 衣服 的 人 是 在 王宮 裡 。 你們 出去 究竟 是 為 甚麼 ？ 是 要 看 先知 麼 ？ 我 告訴 你們 ， 是 的 ， 他 比 先知 大多 了 。 經上 記著 說 ： 我要 差遣 我 的 使者 在 你 前面 預備 道路 ， 所說 的 就是 這個 人 。 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 凡 婦人 所生 的 ， 沒有 一個 興 起來 大過 施洗約翰 的 ； 然而 天國 裡 最小 的 比 他 還大 。 從 施洗約翰 的 時候 到 如今 ， 天國 是 努力 進入 的 ， 努力 的 人 就 得 著 了 。 因為眾 先知 和 律法 說 預言 ， 到 約翰 為止 。 你們 若肯 領受 ， 這人 就是 那 應當 來 的 以 利亞 。 有 耳 可 聽 的 ， 就 應當 聽 ！ 我 可用 甚麼 比 這 世代 呢 ？ 好像 孩童 坐在 街市 上 招呼 同伴 ， 說 ： 我們 向 你們 吹笛 ， 你們 不 跳舞 ； 我們 向 你們 舉哀 ， 你們 不 捶胸 。 約翰 來 了 ， 也 不吃 也 不 喝 ， 人 就 說 他 是 被 鬼 附著 的 ； 人子 來 了 ， 也 吃 也 喝 ， 人 又 說 他 是 貪食 好酒 的 人 ， 是 稅吏 和 罪人 的 朋友 。 但 智慧 之子 總以 智慧 為 是 （ 有古卷 ： 但 智慧 在 行為 上 就 顯為 是 ）。 耶穌 在 諸城 中行 了 許多 異能 ， 那些 城 的 人終 不悔改 ， 就 在 那 時候 責備 他們 ， 說 ： 哥拉汛 哪 ， 你 有 禍 了 ！ 伯賽 大 阿 ， 你 有 禍 了 ！ 因為 在 你們 中間 所行 的 異能 ， 若行 在 推羅 、 西頓 ， 他們 早已 披麻蒙灰 悔改 了 。 但 我 告訴 你們 ， 當 審判 的 日子 ， 推羅 、 西頓 所受 的 ， 比 你們 還 容易 受 呢 ！ 迦百農 阿 ， 你 已經 升 到 天上 （ 或作 ： 你 將要 升 到 天上 麼 ）， 將來 必 墜落 陰間 ； 因為 在 你 那裡 所行 的 異能 ， 若行 在 所多瑪 ， 他還 可以 存 到 今日 。 但 我 告訴 你們 ， 當 審判 的 日子 ， 所多瑪 所受 的 ， 比 你還 容易 受 呢 ！ 那時 ， 耶穌 說 ： 父阿 ， 天地 的 主 ， 我 感謝 你 ！ 因為 你將 這些 事向 聰明 通達 人 就 藏 起來 ， 向 嬰孩 就 顯 出來 。 父阿 ， 是 的 ， 因為 你 的 美意 本是 如此 。 一切 所有 的 ， 都 是 我父 交付 我 的 ； 除了 父 ， 沒有 人 知道 子 ； 除了 子和子 所 願意 指示 的 ， 沒有 人 知道 父 。 凡 勞苦 擔 重擔 的 人 可以 到 我 這裡 來 ， 我 就 使 你們 得 安息 。 我心 裡 柔和 謙卑 ， 你們 當負 我 的 軛 ， 學 我 的 樣式 ； 這樣 ， 你們 心裡 就 必得享 安息 。 因為 我 的 軛 是 容易 的 ， 我 的 擔子 是 輕省 的 。

耶穌 吩咐 完 了 十二個 門徒 ， 就 離開 那裡 ， 往 各城 去 傳道 ， 教訓 人 。 After Jesus had commanded the twelve disciples, he left and went to preach and teach in all the cities. 約翰 在 監裡 聽見 基督 所作 的 事 ， 就 打發 兩個 門徒 去 ， 問他 說 ： 那 將要 來 的 是 你麼 ？ 還是 我們 等候 別人 呢 ？ 耶穌 回答 說 ： 你們 去 ， 把 所 聽見 ， 所 看見 的 事 告訴 約翰 。 就是 瞎子 看見 ， 瘸子 行走 ， 長大 痲 瘋 的 潔淨 ， 聾子 聽見 ， 死人 復活 ， 窮人 有 福音 傳給 他們 。 The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 凡 不 因 我 跌倒 的 就 有 福 了 ！ Blessed is he who does not stumble because of me! 他們 走 的 時候 ， 耶穌 就 對 眾人 講論 約翰 說 ： 你們 從前 出 到 曠野 是 要 看 甚麼 呢 ？ As they were leaving, Jesus spoke to the crowd about John, saying, What did you go out into the wilderness to see? 要 看 風吹 動 的 蘆葦 麼 ？ Want to see the reeds blown by the wind? 你們 出去 到底 是 要 看 甚麼 ？ What are you going out to see? 要 看穿 細軟 衣服 的 人麼 ？ Want to see someone who wears soft clothes? 那 穿 細軟 衣服 的 人 是 在 王宮 裡 。 你們 出去 究竟 是 為 甚麼 ？ Why are you going out? 是 要 看 先知 麼 ？ Are you looking for a prophet? 我 告訴 你們 ， 是 的 ， 他 比 先知 大多 了 。 I tell you, yes, he is more than a prophet. 經上 記著 說 ： 我要 差遣 我 的 使者 在 你 前面 預備 道路 ， 所說 的 就是 這個 人 。 It is written: I will send my angel to prepare the way before you, and it is this man who speaks. 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 凡 婦人 所生 的 ， 沒有 一個 興 起來 大過 施洗約翰 的 ； 然而 天國 裡 最小 的 比 他 還大 。 從 施洗約翰 的 時候 到 如今 ， 天國 是 努力 進入 的 ， 努力 的 人 就 得 著 了 。 From the time of John the Baptist to the present, the kingdom of heaven has been entered by hard work, and those who work hard will gain it. 因為眾 先知 和 律法 說 預言 ， 到 約翰 為止 。 For the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 你們 若肯 領受 ， 這人 就是 那 應當 來 的 以 利亞 。 If you accept it, this is Elijah who should come. 有 耳 可 聽 的 ， 就 應當 聽 ！ 我 可用 甚麼 比 這 世代 呢 ？ What can I compare to this generation? 好像 孩童 坐在 街市 上 招呼 同伴 ， 說 ： 我們 向 你們 吹笛 ， 你們 不 跳舞 ； 我們 向 你們 舉哀 ， 你們 不 捶胸 。 It's like a child sitting in a street market greeting his companions, saying: We play the flute to you, but you don't dance; we mourn you, but you don't beat your breasts. 約翰 來 了 ， 也 不吃 也 不 喝 ， 人 就 說 他 是 被 鬼 附著 的 ； 人子 來 了 ， 也 吃 也 喝 ， 人 又 說 他 是 貪食 好酒 的 人 ， 是 稅吏 和 罪人 的 朋友 。 When John came, he neither ate nor drank, and they said that he was possessed by demons; and when the Son of Man came, he ate and drank, and they said he was a glutton and a drinker, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. 但 智慧 之子 總以 智慧 為 是 （ 有古卷 ： 但 智慧 在 行為 上 就 顯為 是 ）。 But the Son of Wisdom is always Wisdom (there are scrolls: But Wisdom is true in deeds). 耶穌 在 諸城 中行 了 許多 異能 ， 那些 城 的 人終 不悔改 ， 就 在 那 時候 責備 他們 ， 說 ： 哥拉汛 哪 ， 你 有 禍 了 ！ Jesus performed many miracles in the cities, but the people of those cities did not repent, and at that time rebuked them, saying, Woe to you, Chorazin! 伯賽 大 阿 ， 你 有 禍 了 ！ 因為 在 你們 中間 所行 的 異能 ， 若行 在 推羅 、 西頓 ， 他們 早已 披麻蒙灰 悔改 了 。 For if the miracles that were done among you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 但 我 告訴 你們 ， 當 審判 的 日子 ， 推羅 、 西頓 所受 的 ， 比 你們 還 容易 受 呢 ！ But I tell you, in the day of judgment Tyre and Sidon will suffer more easily than you! 迦百農 阿 ， 你 已經 升 到 天上 （ 或作 ： 你 將要 升 到 天上 麼 ）， 將來 必 墜落 陰間 ； 因為 在 你 那裡 所行 的 異能 ， 若行 在 所多瑪 ， 他還 可以 存 到 今日 。 Capernaum, you have ascended into heaven (or are you about to ascend into heaven), and you will fall into hell; for the miracles that were done with you, if they had been done in Sodom, would still exist to this day. 但 我 告訴 你們 ， 當 審判 的 日子 ， 所多瑪 所受 的 ， 比 你還 容易 受 呢 ！ 那時 ， 耶穌 說 ： 父阿 ， 天地 的 主 ， 我 感謝 你 ！ Then Jesus said: Father, Lord of heaven and earth, I thank you! 因為 你將 這些 事向 聰明 通達 人 就 藏 起來 ， 向 嬰孩 就 顯 出來 。 For you hid these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them to babes. 父阿 ， 是 的 ， 因為 你 的 美意 本是 如此 。 Father, yes, for it is your good will. 一切 所有 的 ， 都 是 我父 交付 我 的 ； 除了 父 ， 沒有 人 知道 子 ； 除了 子和子 所 願意 指示 的 ， 沒有 人 知道 父 。 My Father has given me all that I have; no one knows the Son but the Father; no one knows the Father except the Son and what the Son wills to show. 凡 勞苦 擔 重擔 的 人 可以 到 我 這裡 來 ， 我 就 使 你們 得 安息 。 我心 裡 柔和 謙卑 ， 你們 當負 我 的 軛 ， 學 我 的 樣式 ； 這樣 ， 你們 心裡 就 必得享 安息 。 I am meek and lowly in heart; take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; then you will find rest for your hearts. 因為 我 的 軛 是 容易 的 ， 我 的 擔子 是 輕省 的 。
