耶穌 又 對 他們 說 ： 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 站 在 這裡 的 ， 有人 在 沒嘗 死味 以前 ， 必要 看見 神 的 國大 有 能力 臨到 。 過了 六天 ， 耶穌 帶著 彼得 、 雅各 、 約翰 暗暗 的 上 了 高山 ， 就 在 他們 面前 變 了 形像 ， 衣服 放光 ， 極其 潔白 ， 地上 漂布 的 ， 沒有 一個 能 漂得 那樣 白 。 忽然 ， 有以 利亞 同 摩西 向 他們 顯現 ， 並且 和 耶穌 說話 。 彼得 對 耶穌 說 ： 拉比 （ 就是 夫子 ）， 我們 在 這裡 真好 ！ 可以 搭 三座 棚 ， 一座 為 你 ， 一座 為 摩西 ， 一座 為 以 利亞 。 彼得 不 知道 說 甚麼 才 好 ， 因為 他們 甚 是 懼怕 。 有 一朵 雲彩 來 遮蓋 他們 ； 也 有 聲音 從 雲彩 裡 出來 ， 說 ： 這是 我 的 愛子 ， 你們 要 聽 他 。 門徒 忽然 周圍 一看 ， 不再 見 一人 ， 只見 耶穌 同 他們 在 那裡 。 下山 的 時候 ， 耶穌 囑咐 他們 說 ： 人子還 沒有 從 死裡 復活 ， 你們 不要 將所 看見 的 告訴 人 。 門徒 將 這話 存記 在 心 ， 彼此 議論 從 死裡 復活 是 甚麼 意思 。 他們 就問 耶穌 說 ： 文士 為 甚麼 說 以 利亞 必須 先來 ？ 耶穌 說 ： 以 利亞 固然 先來 復興 萬事 ； 經上 不是 指著 人子 說 ， 他 要 受 許多 的 苦 被 人 輕慢 呢 ？ 我 告訴 你們 ， 以 利亞 已經 來 了 ， 他們 也 任意 待 他 ， 正如 經上 所指 著 他 的話 。 耶穌 到 了 門徒 那裡 ， 看見 有 許多 人圍 著 他們 ， 又 有 文士 和 他們 辯論 。 眾人 一見 耶穌 ， 都 甚 希奇 ， 就 跑 上去 問他 的 安 。 耶穌 問 他們 說 ： 你們 和 他們 辯論 的 是 甚麼 ？ 眾人 中間 有 一個 人 回答 說 ： 夫子 ， 我 帶 了 我 的 兒子 到 你 這裡 來 ， 他 被 啞吧 鬼 附著 。 無論 在 那裡 ， 鬼 捉弄 他 ， 把 他 摔倒 ， 他 就 口中 流沫 ， 咬牙切齒 ， 身體 枯乾 。 我 請過 你 的 門徒 把 鬼 趕出去 ， 他們 卻是 不能 。 耶穌 說 ： 噯 ！ 不信 的 世代 阿 ， 我 在 你們 這裡 要 到 幾時 呢 ？ 我 忍耐 你們 要 到 幾時 呢 ？ 把 他 帶到 我 這裡 來罷 。 他們 就 帶 了 他 來 。 他 一見 耶穌 ， 鬼 便 叫 他 重重的 抽瘋 ， 倒 在 地上 ， 翻來覆去 ， 口中 流沫 。 耶穌 問他 父親 說 ： 他 得 這病 有 多少 日子 呢 ？ 回答 說 ： 從小 的 時候 。 鬼 屢次 把 他 扔 在 火裡 、 水裡 ， 要滅 他 。 你 若 能 做 甚麼 ， 求 你 憐憫 我們 ， 幫助 我們 。 耶穌 對 他 說 ： 你 若 能 信 ， 在 信 的 人 ， 凡事 都 能 。 孩子 的 父親 立時 喊 著 說 （ 有古卷 ： 立時 流淚 的 喊 著 說 ）： 我信 ！ 但 我 信 不足 ， 求主 幫助 。 耶穌 看見 眾人 都 跑上來 ， 就 斥責 那污鬼 說 ： 你 這 聾啞 的 鬼 ， 我 吩咐 你 從 他裡頭 出來 ， 再 不要 進去 ！ 那鬼 喊叫 ， 使 孩子 大大的 抽 了 一陣 瘋 ， 就 出來 了 。 孩子 好像 死 了 一般 。 以致 眾人 多半 說 ： 他 是 死 了 。 但 耶穌 拉著 他 的 手 ， 扶 他 起來 ， 他 就 站 起來 了 。 耶穌 進 了 屋子 ， 門徒 就 暗暗 的 問他 說 ： 我們 為 甚麼 不能 趕出 他 去 呢 ？ 耶穌 說 ： 非 用 禱告 （ 有古卷 在 此 有 ： 禁食 二字 ）， 這 一類 的 鬼 總 不能 出來 （ 或作 ： 不能 趕出 他 去 來 ）。 他們 離開 那 地方 ， 經過 加利利 ； 耶穌 不 願意 人 知道 。 於是 教訓 門徒 ， 說 ： 人 子 將要 被 交 在 人手 裡 ， 他們 要 殺害 他 ； 被 殺 以後 ， 過 三天 他 要 復活 。 門徒 卻 不 明白 這話 ， 又 不敢 問他 。 他們 來到 迦百農 ， 耶穌 在 屋裡問 門徒 說 ： 你們 在 路上 議論 的 是 甚麼 ？ 門徒 不作聲 ， 因為 他們 在 路上 彼此 爭論 誰 為 大 。 耶穌 坐下 ， 叫 十二個 門徒 來 ， 說 ： 若 有人 願意 作 首先 的 ， 他 必作眾 人 末後 的 ， 作眾 人 的 用人 。 於是 領過 一個 小孩子 來 ， 叫 他 站 在 門徒 中間 ， 又 抱 起 他 來 ， 對 他們 說 ： 凡為 我名 接待 一個 像 這 小孩子 的 ， 就是 接待 我 ； 凡 接待 我 的 ， 不是 接待 我 ， 乃是 接待 那差 我 來 的 。 約翰 對 耶穌 說 ： 夫子 ， 我們 看見 一個 人奉 你 的 名 趕鬼 ， 我們 就 禁止 他 ， 因為 他 不 跟 從 我們 。 耶穌 說 ： 不要 禁止 他 ； 因為 沒有 人奉 我 名行 異能 ， 反倒 輕易 毀謗 我 。 不敵 擋 我們 的 ， 就是 幫助 我們 的 。 凡因 你們 是屬 基督 ， 給 你們 一杯 水喝 的 ， 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 他 不能 不得 賞賜 。 凡 使 這信 我 的 一個 小子 跌倒 的 ， 倒不如 把 大 磨石 拴 在 這人 的 頸項 上 ， 扔 在 海裡 。 倘若 你 一隻 手叫 你 跌倒 ， 就 把 他 砍下來 ； 你 缺 了 肢體 進入 永生 ， 強如有 兩隻手 落到 地獄 ， 入 那 不滅 的 火裡 去 。 倘若 你 一隻 腳 叫 你 跌倒 ， 就 把 他 砍下來 ； 你 瘸腿 進入 永生 ， 強如有 兩隻 腳 被 丟在 地獄 裡 。 倘若 你 一隻 眼叫 你 跌倒 ， 就 去掉 他 ； 你 只有 一隻 眼 進入 神的國 ， 強如有 兩隻 眼 被 丟在 地獄 裡 。 在 那裡 ， 蟲是 不 死 的 ， 火是 不滅 的 。 因為 必用 火當 鹽 醃 各人 。 （ 有古卷 在 此 有 ： 凡 祭物 必用 鹽 醃 。 ） 鹽本 是 好 的 ， 若失 了 味 ， 可用 甚麼 叫 他 再 鹹 呢 ？ 你們 裡頭 應當 有 鹽 ， 彼此 和睦 。

耶穌 又 對 他們 說 ： 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 站 在 這裡 的 ， 有人 在 沒嘗 死味 以前 ， 必要 看見 神 的 國大 有 能力 臨到 。 And Jesus said to them again, "Truly I tell you, there are some who stand here before they taste death, and they will see the power of the kingdom of God coming." 過了 六天 ， 耶穌 帶著 彼得 、 雅各 、 約翰 暗暗 的 上 了 高山 ， 就 在 他們 面前 變 了 形像 ， 衣服 放光 ， 極其 潔白 ， 地上 漂布 的 ， 沒有 一個 能 漂得 那樣 白 。 After six days, Jesus took Peter, James, and John secretly up a high mountain, and he was transfigured before them, and his clothes were shining, and they were so white that no bleacher on the ground could be so white. 忽然 ， 有以 利亞 同 摩西 向 他們 顯現 ， 並且 和 耶穌 說話 。 Suddenly, Elijah appeared to them with Moses and spoke to Jesus. 彼得 對 耶穌 說 ： 拉比 （ 就是 夫子 ）， 我們 在 這裡 真好 ！ Peter said to Jesus: Rabbi (the Master), how good we are here! 可以 搭 三座 棚 ， 一座 為 你 ， 一座 為 摩西 ， 一座 為 以 利亞 。 彼得 不 知道 說 甚麼 才 好 ， 因為 他們 甚 是 懼怕 。 Peter didn't know what to say because they were so afraid. 有 一朵 雲彩 來 遮蓋 他們 ； 也 有 聲音 從 雲彩 裡 出來 ， 說 ： 這是 我 的 愛子 ， 你們 要 聽 他 。 A cloud came to cover them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, listen to him. 門徒 忽然 周圍 一看 ， 不再 見 一人 ， 只見 耶穌 同 他們 在 那裡 。 下山 的 時候 ， 耶穌 囑咐 他們 說 ： 人子還 沒有 從 死裡 復活 ， 你們 不要 將所 看見 的 告訴 人 。 When they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying: The Son of Man has not been raised from the dead, so tell no one what you have seen. 門徒 將 這話 存記 在 心 ， 彼此 議論 從 死裡 復活 是 甚麼 意思 。 The disciples took these words to heart, and they debated among themselves what it meant to be raised from the dead. 他們 就問 耶穌 說 ： 文士 為 甚麼 說 以 利亞 必須 先來 ？ They asked Jesus: Why did the scribes say Elijah must come first? 耶穌 說 ： 以 利亞 固然 先來 復興 萬事 ； 經上 不是 指著 人子 說 ， 他 要 受 許多 的 苦 被 人 輕慢 呢 ？ Jesus said, Elijah came first to restore all things; does not the scriptures say of the Son of Man, He will suffer many things and be despised by men? 我 告訴 你們 ， 以 利亞 已經 來 了 ， 他們 也 任意 待 他 ， 正如 經上 所指 著 他 的話 。 I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done him whatever they want, just as the scriptures said of him. 耶穌 到 了 門徒 那裡 ， 看見 有 許多 人圍 著 他們 ， 又 有 文士 和 他們 辯論 。 When Jesus went to the disciples, he saw a large crowd around them, and the scribes were arguing with them. 眾人 一見 耶穌 ， 都 甚 希奇 ， 就 跑 上去 問他 的 安 。 When the people saw Jesus, they were amazed, and ran up to greet him. 耶穌 問 他們 說 ： 你們 和 他們 辯論 的 是 甚麼 ？ Jesus asked them: What are you arguing with them? 眾人 中間 有 一個 人 回答 說 ： 夫子 ， 我 帶 了 我 的 兒子 到 你 這裡 來 ， 他 被 啞吧 鬼 附著 。 One of the people answered, "Master, I have brought my son to you, and he is possessed by a dumb devil. 無論 在 那裡 ， 鬼 捉弄 他 ， 把 他 摔倒 ， 他 就 口中 流沫 ， 咬牙切齒 ， 身體 枯乾 。 我 請過 你 的 門徒 把 鬼 趕出去 ， 他們 卻是 不能 。 I asked your disciples to cast out the demons, but they couldn't. 耶穌 說 ： 噯 ！ 不信 的 世代 阿 ， 我 在 你們 這裡 要 到 幾時 呢 ？ Unbelieving generation, how long will I be with you? 我 忍耐 你們 要 到 幾時 呢 ？ 把 他 帶到 我 這裡 來罷 。 Bring him to me. 他們 就 帶 了 他 來 。 他 一見 耶穌 ， 鬼 便 叫 他 重重的 抽瘋 ， 倒 在 地上 ， 翻來覆去 ， 口中 流沫 。 As soon as he saw Jesus, the devil made him go crazy, and he fell to the ground, tossing and turning, foaming from his mouth. 耶穌 問他 父親 說 ： 他 得 這病 有 多少 日子 呢 ？ 回答 說 ： 從小 的 時候 。 鬼 屢次 把 他 扔 在 火裡 、 水裡 ， 要滅 他 。 你 若 能 做 甚麼 ， 求 你 憐憫 我們 ， 幫助 我們 。 If you can do anything, have mercy on us and help us. 耶穌 對 他 說 ： 你 若 能 信 ， 在 信 的 人 ， 凡事 都 能 。 Jesus said to him: If you can believe, all things are possible for him who believes. 孩子 的 父親 立時 喊 著 說 （ 有古卷 ： 立時 流淚 的 喊 著 說 ）： 我信 ！ The child's father immediately shouted and said (there is an ancient scroll: immediately cried out in tears): I believe! 但 我 信 不足 ， 求主 幫助 。 But I don't have enough faith, I ask the Lord for help. 耶穌 看見 眾人 都 跑上來 ， 就 斥責 那污鬼 說 ： 你 這 聾啞 的 鬼 ， 我 吩咐 你 從 他裡頭 出來 ， 再 不要 進去 ！ When Jesus saw the crowd running up, he rebuked the unclean spirit and said, "You deaf and dumb spirit, I command you to come out of him and never go in again!" 那鬼 喊叫 ， 使 孩子 大大的 抽 了 一陣 瘋 ， 就 出來 了 。 The ghost shouted, making the child go crazy for a while, and came out. 孩子 好像 死 了 一般 。 The child seems to be dead. 以致 眾人 多半 說 ： 他 是 死 了 。 但 耶穌 拉著 他 的 手 ， 扶 他 起來 ， 他 就 站 起來 了 。 耶穌 進 了 屋子 ， 門徒 就 暗暗 的 問他 說 ： 我們 為 甚麼 不能 趕出 他 去 呢 ？ When Jesus entered the house, the disciples asked him secretly, "Why can't we drive him out?" 耶穌 說 ： 非 用 禱告 （ 有古卷 在 此 有 ： 禁食 二字 ）， 這 一類 的 鬼 總 不能 出來 （ 或作 ： 不能 趕出 他 去 來 ）。 Jesus said: Without prayer (there are ancient scrolls here, there are two words: fasting), this type of ghost can never come out (or: can not cast him out). 他們 離開 那 地方 ， 經過 加利利 ； 耶穌 不 願意 人 知道 。 They left that place and passed through Galilee; Jesus did not want people to know. 於是 教訓 門徒 ， 說 ： 人 子 將要 被 交 在 人手 裡 ， 他們 要 殺害 他 ； 被 殺 以後 ， 過 三天 他 要 復活 。 門徒 卻 不 明白 這話 ， 又 不敢 問他 。 The disciples did not understand this, and did not dare to ask him. 他們 來到 迦百農 ， 耶穌 在 屋裡問 門徒 說 ： 你們 在 路上 議論 的 是 甚麼 ？ 門徒 不作聲 ， 因為 他們 在 路上 彼此 爭論 誰 為 大 。 耶穌 坐下 ， 叫 十二個 門徒 來 ， 說 ： 若 有人 願意 作 首先 的 ， 他 必作眾 人 末後 的 ， 作眾 人 的 用人 。 於是 領過 一個 小孩子 來 ， 叫 他 站 在 門徒 中間 ， 又 抱 起 他 來 ， 對 他們 說 ： 凡為 我名 接待 一個 像 這 小孩子 的 ， 就是 接待 我 ； 凡 接待 我 的 ， 不是 接待 我 ， 乃是 接待 那差 我 來 的 。 So he brought a little child, and made him stand among the disciples, and he picked him up, and said to them, Whoever welcomes a child like this in my name welcomes me; whoever welcomes me, does not welcome me, to receive the one who sent me. 約翰 對 耶穌 說 ： 夫子 ， 我們 看見 一個 人奉 你 的 名 趕鬼 ， 我們 就 禁止 他 ， 因為 他 不 跟 從 我們 。 耶穌 說 ： 不要 禁止 他 ； 因為 沒有 人奉 我 名行 異能 ， 反倒 輕易 毀謗 我 。 Jesus said: Do not forbid him; for no one does a miracle in my name, but speaketh lightly against me. 不敵 擋 我們 的 ， 就是 幫助 我們 的 。 What is not against us is what helps us. 凡因 你們 是屬 基督 ， 給 你們 一杯 水喝 的 ， 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 他 不能 不得 賞賜 。 Whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ, I tell you the truth, he will not lose his reward. 凡 使 這信 我 的 一個 小子 跌倒 的 ， 倒不如 把 大 磨石 拴 在 這人 的 頸項 上 ， 扔 在 海裡 。 Whoever causes this little boy who believes in me to stumble, it would be better for him to tie a millstone around his neck and throw him into the sea. 倘若 你 一隻 手叫 你 跌倒 ， 就 把 他 砍下來 ； 你 缺 了 肢體 進入 永生 ， 強如有 兩隻手 落到 地獄 ， 入 那 不滅 的 火裡 去 。 倘若 你 一隻 腳 叫 你 跌倒 ， 就 把 他 砍下來 ； 你 瘸腿 進入 永生 ， 強如有 兩隻 腳 被 丟在 地獄 裡 。 If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame than two feet to be thrown into hell. 倘若 你 一隻 眼叫 你 跌倒 ， 就 去掉 他 ； 你 只有 一隻 眼 進入 神的國 ， 強如有 兩隻 眼 被 丟在 地獄 裡 。 在 那裡 ， 蟲是 不 死 的 ， 火是 不滅 的 。 There the worm is immortal and the fire is immortal. 因為 必用 火當 鹽 醃 各人 。 For everyone will be salted with fire. （ 有古卷 在 此 有 ： 凡 祭物 必用 鹽 醃 。 (There are ancient scrolls here: All sacrifices must be salted. ） 鹽本 是 好 的 ， 若失 了 味 ， 可用 甚麼 叫 他 再 鹹 呢 ？ ) Salt is good, but if it loses its taste, how can it be made salty again? 你們 裡頭 應當 有 鹽 ， 彼此 和睦 。 You should have salt in you and be at peace with one another.
