馬可福音8
那時 ， 又 有 許多 人 聚集 ， 並 沒有 甚麼 吃 的 。
At that time, many people gathered again, and there was nothing to eat.
耶穌 叫 門徒 來 ， 說 ： 我 憐憫 這眾 人 ； 因為 他們 同 我 在 這裡 已經 三天 ， 也 沒有 吃 的 了 。
我 若 打發 他們 餓著 回家 ， 就 必 在 路上 困乏 ， 因為 其中 有 從 遠處 來 的 。
If I send them home hungry, they will be weary on the way, for some of them come from afar.
門徒 回答 說 ： 在 這 野地 ， 從 那裡 能 得餅 ， 叫 這些 人 吃飽 呢 ？
The disciples answered, "Where can you get bread in this wild place to feed these people?"
耶穌 問 他們 說 ： 你們 有 多少 餅 ？
他們 說 ： 七個 。
他 吩咐 眾人 坐在 地上 ， 就 拿 著 這 七個 餅祝謝 了 ， 擘開 ， 遞給 門徒 ， 叫 他們 擺開 ， 門徒 就 擺在 眾人 面前 。
He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves and gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set them aside, and the disciples set them before the crowd.
又 有 幾條 小魚 ； 耶穌 祝 了 福 ， 就 吩咐 也 擺在 眾人 面前 。
And there were some little fishes; and when Jesus blessed them, he ordered them to be set before the crowd.
眾人 都 吃 ， 並且 吃飽 了 ， 收拾 剩下 的 零碎 ， 有 七 筐子 。
人數 約 有 四千 。
There are about four thousand people.
耶穌 打發 他們 走 了 ， 隨即 同 門徒 上船 ， 來到 大瑪 努他 境內 。
Jesus sent them away, and immediately got into the boat with his disciples and came to the territory of Great Manuta.
法利賽 人 出來 盤問 耶穌 ， 求 他 從 天上 顯個 神蹟 給 他們 看 ， 想要 試探 他 。
耶穌 心裡 深深 的 歎 息 ， 說 ： 這 世代 為 甚麼 求 神蹟 呢 ？
With a deep sigh in his heart, Jesus said, "Why does this generation seek miracles?
我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 沒有 神蹟 給 這 世代 看 。
Truly I tell you, there are no miracles for this generation.
他 就 離開 他們 ， 又 上船 往海 那邊 去 了 。
門徒 忘 了 帶餅 ； 在 船上 除了 一個 餅 ， 沒有 別的 食物 。
The disciples forgot to bring bread; there was no other food on the boat but one.
耶穌 囑咐 他們 說 ： 你們 要 謹慎 ， 防備 法利賽 人 的 酵 和 希律 的 酵 。
Jesus charged them: Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.
他們 彼此 議 論說 ： 這是 因為 我們 沒有 餅罷 。
They said to each other: This is because we have no bread.
耶穌 看 出來 ， 就 說 ： 你們 為 甚麼 因為 沒有 餅就 議論 呢 ？
你們 還不 省悟 ， 還不 明白 麼 ？
You still don't realize it, don't you understand?
你們 的 心 還是 愚頑 麼 ？
你們 有 眼睛 ， 看不見 麼 ？
You have eyes, can't you see?
有 耳朵 ， 聽不見 麼 ？
也 不 記得 麼 ？
Don't you remember?
我擘 開 那 五個 餅 分給 五千 人 ， 你們 收拾 的 零碎 裝滿 了 多少 籃子 呢 ？
I broke the five loaves and distributed them to five thousand people. How many baskets did you fill with the odds and ends?
他們 說 ： 十二個 。
They said: Twelve.
又 擘 開 那 七個 餅 分給 四千人 ， 你們 收拾 的 零碎 裝滿 了 多少 筐子 呢 ？
Then you broke the seven loaves and distributed them to the four thousand. How many baskets did you fill with the scraps you gathered?
他們 說 ： 七個 。
耶穌 說 ： 你們 還是 不 明白 麼 ？
Jesus said: Do you still not understand?
他們 來到 伯賽 大 ， 有人 帶 一個 瞎子 來 ， 求 耶穌 摸 他 。
耶穌 拉著 瞎子 的 手 ， 領他 到 村外 ， 就 吐 唾沫 在 他 眼睛 上 ， 按手 在 他 身上 ， 問他 說 ： 你 看見 甚麼 了 ？
他 就 抬頭 一看 ， 說 ： 我 看見 人 了 ； 他們 好像 樹木 ， 並且 行走 。
He looked up and said: I saw people; they were like trees, and they were walking.
隨後 又 按手 在 他 眼睛 上 ， 他 定睛一看 ， 就 復 了 原 ， 樣樣 都 看 得 清楚 了 。
Then he laid his hands on his eyes, and when he looked intently, he recovered, and he saw everything clearly.
耶穌 打發 他 回家 ， 說 ： 連 這 村子 你 也 不要 進去 。
Jesus sent him home, saying, Do not even enter this village.
耶穌 和 門徒 出去 ， 往該 撒 利亞 腓立 比 的 村莊 去 ； 在 路上 問 門徒 說 ： 人 說 我 是 誰 ？
Jesus went out with his disciples to the village of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way he asked his disciples, "Who do people say I am?"
他們 說 ： 有人 說 是 施洗 的 約翰 ； 有人 說 是 以 利亞 ； 又 有人 說 是 先知 裡的 一位 。
又問 他們 說 ： 你們 說 我 是 誰 ？
彼得 回答 說 ： 你 是 基督 。
耶穌 就 禁戒 他們 ， 不要 告訴 人 。
從此 ， 他 教訓 他們 說 ： 人 子 必須 受 許多 的 苦 ， 被 長老 、 祭 司長 ， 和 文士 棄絕 ， 並且 被 殺 ， 過 三天 復活 。
耶穌 明明 的 說 這話 ， 彼得 就拉著 他 ， 勸 他 。
When Jesus said this clearly, Peter took him and persuaded him.
耶穌 轉過 來 ， 看著 門徒 ， 就 責備 彼得 說 ： 撒 但 ， 退 我 後邊 去罷 ！
因為 你 不 體貼 神 的 意思 ， 只 體貼人 的 意思 。
Because you are not considerate of God's will, but only of people's will.
於是 叫眾 人 和 門徒 來 ， 對 他們 說 ： 若 有人 要 跟 從 我 ， 就當 捨己 ， 背起 他 的 十字架 來 跟 從 我 。
So he called the crowd and his disciples and said to them, If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
因為 ， 凡要 救 自己 生命 （ 或作 ： 靈魂 ； 下同 ） 的 ， 必喪掉 生命 ； 凡為 我 和 福音 喪掉 生命 的 ， 必救 了 生命 。
For whoever wants to save his life (or soul; the same below) will lose it; whoever loses his life for me and the gospel will save it.
人 就是 賺 得 全世界 ， 賠上 自己 的 生命 ， 有 甚麼 益處 呢 ？
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his life?
人 還能 拿 甚麼 換 生命 呢 ？
What else can a man give in exchange for his life?
凡 在 這 淫亂 罪惡 的 世代 ， 把 我 和 我 的 道 當作 可恥 的 ， 人子 在 他 父 的 榮耀 裡 ， 同聖 天使 降臨 的 時候 ， 也 要 把 那 人 當作 可恥 的 。
Whosoever disgraceful me and my word in this adulterous and sinful age, so shall the Son of man be ashamed when he descends in the glory of his Father with holy angels.
