路加福音20
有 一天 ， 耶穌 在 殿裡 教訓 百姓 ， 講 福音 的 時候 ， 祭司長 和 文士 並 長老 上 前來 ， 問他 說 ： 你 告訴 我們 ， 你 仗 著 甚麼 權柄 做 這些 事 ？
One day, while Jesus was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came up to him and asked him, "Tell us, by what authority do you do these things?
給你 這 權柄 的 是 誰 呢 ？
耶穌 回答 說 ： 我 也 要問 你們 一句 話 ， 你們 且 告訴 我 。
Jesus answered, "I will ask you one more question, and you will tell me.
約翰 的 洗禮 是從 天 上來 的 ？
Did John's baptism come from heaven?
是從 人間 來 的 呢 ？
Did it come from the world?
他們 彼此 商議 說 ： 我們 若 說 從 天 上來 ， 他 必說 ： 你們 為 甚麼 不信 他 呢 ？
若 說 從 人間 來 ， 百姓 都 要 用 石頭 打死 我們 ， 因為 他們 信 約翰 是 先知 。
If it comes from the world, the people will stone us, because they believe that John is a prophet.
於是 回答 說 ： 不 知道 是從 那裡 來 的 。
耶穌 說 ： 我 也 不 告訴 你們 ， 我仗 著 甚麼 權柄 做 這些 事 。
耶穌 就 設 比喻 對 百姓 說 ： 有人 栽 了 一個 葡萄園 ， 租給 園戶 ， 就 往 外國 去 住 了 許久 。
Then Jesus told a parable to the people: A man planted a vineyard, leased it to a tenant, and went to live in a foreign country for a long time.
到 了 時候 ， 打發 一個 僕人 到 園戶 那裡 去 ， 叫 他們 把 園中 當 納 的 果子 交給 他 ； 園戶 竟 打 了 他 ， 叫 他 空手 回去 。
When the time came, he sent a servant to the husbandmen, and told them to give him the fruit of the garden; but the husbandmen beat him and told him to go back empty-handed.
又 打發 一個 僕人 去 ， 他們 也 打 了 他 ， 並且 凌辱 他 ， 叫 他 空手 回去 。
Another servant was sent, and they beat him, and they insulted him, and told him to go back empty-handed.
又 打發 第三個 僕人 去 ， 他們 也 打傷 了 他 ， 把 他 推出 去 了 。
And sent a third servant, and they wounded him, and pushed him out.
園主 說 ： 我 怎麼辦 呢 ？
我要 打發 我 的 愛子 去 ， 或者 他們 尊敬 他 。
I'm going to send my beloved son, or they honor him.
不料 ， 園戶 看見 他 ， 就 彼此 商量 說 ： 這是 承受 產業 的 ， 我們 殺 他罷 ， 使 產業 歸於 我們 ！
於是 把 他 推出 葡萄園 外 ， 殺 了 。
So he pushed him out of the vineyard and killed him.
這樣 ， 葡萄園 的 主人 要 怎樣 處治 他們 呢 ？
他 要來 除滅 這些 園戶 ， 將 葡萄園 轉給 別人 。
He will come and destroy these tenants, and transfer the vineyard to others.
聽見 的 人 說 ： 這是 萬 不可 的 ！
Those who heard it said: This is absolutely impossible!
耶穌 看著 他們 說 ： 經上 記著 ： 匠人 所棄 的 石頭 已 作 了 房角 的 頭塊 石頭 。
Jesus looked at them and said: It is written: The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.
這是 甚麼 意思 呢 ？
What does it mean?
凡 掉 在 那 石頭 上 的 ， 必要 跌碎 ； 那 石頭 掉 在 誰 的 身上 ， 就要 把 誰 砸 得 稀爛 。
Whoever falls on the stone will be broken; on whomever the stone falls, it will be smashed to pieces.
文士 和 祭司長 看出 這 比喻 是 指著 他們 說 的 ， 當時 就 想要 下手 拿 他 ， 只是 懼怕 百姓 。
The scribes and chief priests saw that the parable was being spoken of them, and they wanted to take him, but they were afraid of the people.
於是 窺探 耶穌 ， 打發 奸細 裝作 好人 ， 要 在 他 的話 上 得 把柄 ， 好 將 他 交 在 巡撫 的 政權 之下 。
So they spied on Jesus, and sent spies to pretend to be good men, to get a handle on his words, so that he could be put under the governor's government.
奸細 就問 耶穌 說 ： 夫子 ， 我們 曉得 你 所講 所傳 都 是 正道 ， 也 不 取 人 的 外貌 ， 乃是 誠 誠實 實 傳神 的 道 。
The spy asked Jesus and said, "Master, we know that what you preach and preach is the right way, and you do not take human appearances, but you preach the word of God honestly and truthfully.
我們 納稅 給該 撒 ， 可以 不 可以 ？
耶穌 看出 他們 的 詭詐 ， 就 對 他們 說 ： 拿 一個 銀錢 來給 我 看 。
Jesus saw their deceit and said to them, Bring me a penny and show it to me.
這像 和 這號 是 誰 的 ？
Who is this image and number?
他們 說 ： 是 該 撒 的 。
耶穌 說 ： 這樣 ， 該 撒 的 物 當歸 給該 撒 ， 神 的 物 當歸 給神 。
他們 當著 百姓 ， 在 這話 上 得 不著 把柄 ， 又 希奇 他 的 應對 ， 就 閉口無言 了 。
In front of the people, they could not get a handle on what he said, and they were astonished at his response, so they kept silent.
撒 都 該 人常 說 沒有 復活 的 事 。
The Sadducees often said that there is no resurrection.
有 幾個 來問 耶穌 說 ： 夫子 ！
摩西 為 我們 寫著 說 ： 人若有 妻無子 就 死 了 ， 他 兄弟 當娶 他 的 妻 ， 為 哥哥 生子 立 後 。
Moses wrote for us: If a man dies without a wife, let his brother take his wife, and raise up offspring for his brother.
有 弟兄 七人 ， 第一個 娶 了 妻 ， 沒有 孩子 死 了 ； 第二個 、 第三個 也 娶過 他 ； 那 七個 人 都 娶過 他 ， 沒有 留下 孩子 就 死 了 。
後來 婦人 也 死 了 。
這樣 ， 當 復活 的 時候 ， 他 是 那 一個 的 妻子 呢 ？
So, when resurrected, who will he be the wife of?
因為 他們 七個 人 都 娶過 他 。
Because all seven of them married him.
耶穌 說 ： 這 世界 的 人 有 娶 有 嫁 ； 惟有 算為 配得 那 世界 ， 與 從 死裡 復活 的 人 也 不 娶 也 不 嫁 ； 因為 他們 不能 再 死 ， 和 天使 一樣 ； 既 是 復活 的 人 ， 就 為 神 的 兒子 。
Jesus said, Those of this world marry and are given in marriage; but those who are reckoned worthy of the world, and those who are raised from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they cannot die any more, like angels; for the Son of God.
至於 死人 復活 ， 摩西 在 荊棘 篇 上 ， 稱 主 是 亞伯拉罕 的 神 ， 以 撒 的 神 ， 雅各 的 神 ， 就 指示 明白 了 。
As for the resurrection of the dead, Moses made it clear in the chapter on the bush, calling the Lord the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
神 原 不是 死人 的 神 ， 乃是 活人 的 神 ； 因為 在 他 那裡 （ 那裡 ： 或作 看來 ）， 人 都 是 活 的 。
God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living; for in him all are alive.
有 幾個 文士 說 ： 夫子 ！
你 說得好 。
以後 他們 不敢 再問 他 甚麼 。
耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 人 怎麼 說 基督 是 大衛 的 子孫 呢 ？
Jesus said to them: What do people say that the Christ is the Son of David?
詩篇 上 大衛 自己 說 ： 主對 我 主說 ： 你 坐在 我 的 右邊 ， 等 我 使 你 仇敵 作 你 的 腳凳 。
In the Psalm David himself said: The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.
大衛 既稱 他 為 主 ， 他 怎麼 又 是 大衛 的 子孫 呢 ？
Since David called him Lord, how could he be David's son?
眾 百姓 聽 的 時候 ， 耶穌 對 門徒 說 ： 你們 要 防備 文士 。
他們 好 穿 長衣 遊行 ， 喜愛 人 在 街市 上問 他們 安 ， 又 喜愛 會堂 裡的 高位 ， 筵席 上 的 首座 ； 他們 侵吞 寡婦 的 家產 ， 假意 作 很長 的 禱告 。
They love to walk in long garments, they love to be greeted in the marketplace, and they love the high places in the synagogues, and the first seats at feasts;
這些 人要 受 更重 的 刑罰 ！
