新年 之後 嘅 第 一 個 節日 到 喇 ！
The first holiday after the New Year is here!
唔少 人 屋企 都 準備 咗 花燈 同 湯圓 ， 而 小明 同 大鼻 就 準備 咗 紙船 慶祝 。
Not many houses had prepared lanterns and soup dumplings, while Siu Ming and Big Boss had prepared paper boats to celebrate.
佢哋 喺 河邊 放 紙船 ， 睇 住 紙船 喺 水 上面 浮 下 浮 下 。
「 點解 紙船 可以 浮 喺 水 度 嘅 ？ 」
小明 問 。
「 係咪 因為 我 有 頭髮 呢 ？ 」
大 鼻 都 唔 知 紙船 點解 識 浮 。
The big nose doesn't know how to float a paper boat.
不過 小明 知道 一定 唔關 頭髮 事 ， 佢 摸 住 自己 嘅 光頭 噉 諗 。
But Siu Ming knew it must not be about hair, and he felt his bald head and thought about it.
佢哋 決定 返去 問 公公 。
「 公公 ， 點解 紙船 識 浮 嘅 ？ 」
小明 問 。
平時 乜 都 識 嘅 公公 俾 小明 問 到 𢯎 晒 頭 。

佢 決定 帶 小明 同 大鼻 去 揾 花姨姨 。
花 姨姨 係 公公 個 女 ， 又 係 科學 老師 ， 一定 會 知 點解 。

花 姨姨 見到 公公 ， 就 放低 手上 本 書 。

花 姨姨 見到 小明 同 大鼻 個 好奇 樣 ， 就 知道 條 問題 一定 係 呢 兩 個 小朋友 問 嘅 。
When Auntie Flora saw the curious faces of Little Ming and Big Nose, she knew that this question must be asked by these two children.
佢 笑笑口 ， 請 公公 入 房 坐 ， 又 叫 小明 同 大鼻 出去 拎 一 桶 水 同 一 個 盤 返嚟 。
With a smile, he invited Eunuch to sit in his room, and asked Siu Ming and Big Nose to go out and bring a bucket of water and a tray back.
等 咗 冇 幾耐 ， 小明 同 大鼻 就 好 辛苦 噉 搬 咗 一 大 桶 水 入嚟 。

花 姨姨 將 準備 好 嘅 蘋果 同 匙羹 放 喺 檯面 ， 跟住 叫 大鼻 將 啲 水 倒 落 個 盤 度 。
「 爸爸 ， 你 試下 將 個 蘋果 放 落 水 度 ， 再 輕輕 撳 佢 落去 。 」
"Dad, try dropping an apple into the water and gently pushing it back down. Let's try dropping an apple into the water and dropping it gently."
花姨姨 同 公公 講 。
公公 將 蘋果 放 落 水 ， 再 用 尾指 推 佢 落去 。

「 冇錯 ， 如果 將 瀉 出嚟 嘅 水 同 蘋果 一齊 磅重 ， 就 會 發現 蘋果 比 推 出去 嘅 水 更加 輕 ， 即係 話 蘋果 將 重 過 自己 重量 嘅 水 推 咗 出去 ， 所以 佢 就 浮 到 。 」

「 就 好似 蘋果 噉 ， 海 上面 嘅 船 大 到 可以 將 重 過 自己 嘅 水 推 出去 。

「 噉 我哋 可以 出去 放 紙船 未 啊 ？ 」
大鼻 已經 好 心急 要 去 玩 喇 。
Big Nose is so anxious to go to the La Crosse.
「 可以 ， 不過 玩 完 記得 帶走 啲 紙船 ， 如果 唔係 會 整 污糟 條 河 㗎 ！ 」
花 姨姨 分 咗 啲 顏色 紙 畀 佢哋 。
「 死 喇 ！ 」
小明 諗起 今朝 放 嘅 紙船 。
Siu Ming took a look at the paper boat that was released today.
「 係咪 唔記得 收 返 啲 船 呢 ？ 」
公公 拎 咗 幾 隻 白色 紙船 出嚟 —— 係 佢哋 今朝 放 嘅 紙船 呀 ！
Grandpa brought out some white paper boats - the ones they put out today!
小明 同 大鼻 笑 咗 笑 ， 就 同 公公 一齊 出去 放 紙船 啦 ！
