今日 係 星期一 。 Today is Monday. 太陽公公 好 勤力 ， 佢 曬 到 條 街 好 熱 。 The sunshine is so hardworking, and it is so hot on the streets.

佢 太 勤力 喇 ， 我 坐 喺 樹 下面 ， 都 出 晒 汗 。 She worked so hard that I was sweating even when I was sitting under the tree.

連 棵 大樹 都 畀 佢 曬 到 就嚟 枯乾 喇 ！ Even the trees are drying up under the sun!

今日 係 星期二 ， 出面 吹 緊 大風 。 Today is Tuesday, with strong winds.

啲 風 吹 到 大 樹 都 企 唔 直 。 The wind will not even blow the trees straight. 我 都 爭啲 跌 親 。 I am always trying to drop my parents.

我 要 用 手 撳 實 條 裙 ， 唔好 畀 啲 風 吹 走 。 I need to push my skirt around so that the wind doesn't blow it away.

今日 係 星期三 ， 天空 上面 有 好多 雲 。 Today is Wednesday and there are many clouds in the sky.

啲 雲 黑擝擝 ， 睇嚟 好似 想 落雨 噉 。 The clouds are so dark that it looks as if rain is falling.

我 睇 唔 到 個 太陽 ， 有啲 唔開心 。 I am not happy to see the sun.

我 件 衫 好 短 ， 凍 到 我 係噉 震 。 My shirt is so short that it freezes my relationship.

我 應該 要 着 多 件 衫 ， 令 自己 唔好 凍 親 。 I should wear more than one shirt so that I would not freeze.

啲 雷聲 好 嘈 ， 搞 到 我 對 耳仔 好 辛苦 。 The sound of thunder is so noisy that it makes my ears very hard.

我 要 返入 屋企 喇 ！ 畀 雷 打中 會 受傷 㗎 ！ You will be hurt if you are hit by lightning!
