今日 我 要 講 嘅 ， 係 一 個 為 咗 向 大海 報復 ， 可以 去 到 幾 盡 嘅 故事 ⋯⋯ Today, what I want to talk about is a story about how far one can go to take revenge on the sea... 今天我要讲的，是一个为了向大海报复，可以去到多远的故事⋯⋯

從前 有 一 個 皇帝 ， 佢 叫做 炎帝 。 |||||||Yandi Once upon a time, there was an emperor named Yan Di. 从前有一个皇帝，他叫做炎帝。 炎帝 有 一 個 女 ， 叫做 女娃 。 ||||||girl Yan Di had a daughter named Nüwa. 炎帝有一个女儿，叫做女娃。 女娃 平時 好 乖 ， 炎帝 次次 見到 佢 都 忍 唔 住 讚 佢 。 girl||||||||||||| Nüwa was usually very well-behaved, and every time Yan Di saw her, he couldn't help but praise her. 女孩平时很乖，炎帝每次见到她都忍不住夸奖她。

有 一 日 ， 女娃 冇 同 爸爸 講 聲 ， 就 自己 向 住 太陽 升起 嘅 方向 ， 撐 艇 仔 出海 。 ||||||||||||||||||boat|| One day, the girl didn't say a word to her dad and just rowed a small boat towards the direction where the sun rises. 有一天，女孩没有跟爸爸说话，就自己朝着太阳升起的方向，撑着小船出海。 不幸 嘅 係 ， 海上 突然 刮起 狂風 大浪 ， 風浪 好似 山 一樣 咁 高 ， 霎時間 就 打沉 咗 女娃 隻 艇 仔 。 |||on the sea|||||||||||||||||| Unfortunately, a sudden storm arose at sea, with waves as high as mountains, and in an instant, the girl's small boat was capsized. 不幸的是，海上突然刮起狂风巨浪，风浪像山一样高，瞬间就把女孩的小船打沉了。 女娃 跌 咗 落 海 ， 最終 俾 無情 嘅 大海 吞沒 ， 永遠 都 返 唔 到 嚟 。 ||||||||||swallowed|||||| The girl fell into the sea and was ultimately swallowed by the merciless ocean, never to return. 女孩掉进了海里，最终被无情的大海吞没，永远无法回来了。 炎帝 知道 消息 之後 好 傷心 。 The Flame Emperor was very sad after hearing the news. 炎帝知道消息之后很伤心。 但 係 佢 個 女 死 咗 就 係 死 咗 ， 點 做 都 帶 唔 返 佢 個 女 返 嚟 。 But his daughter was dead, and there was nothing he could do to bring her back. 但是她的女儿死了就是死了，怎么做都带不回她的女儿。

女娃 死 咗 之後 ， 佢 嘅 靈魂 變 咗 一 隻 雀 仔 。 After the girl died, her soul transformed into a little bird. 女娃死后，她的灵魂变成了一只雀鸟。 呢 隻 雀 仔 嘅 叫聲 好似 講 緊 「 精衛 」 呢 兩 個 字 噉 ， 所以 佢 個 名 叫 「 精衛 」。 This little bird's call sounds like it's saying the words "Jingwei," so it is named "Jingwei." 这只雀鸟的叫声好像在说“精卫”这两个字，所以她的名字叫“精卫”。 精衛 痛恨 無情 嘅 大海 奪走 咗 自己 嘅 生命 ， 佢 決心 要 復仇 ！ Jingwei hates the merciless sea for taking away its life, and it is determined to seek revenge! 精卫痛恨无情的大海夺走了自己的生命，决心要复仇！ 佢 飛 向 西面 嘅 大山 ， 擔 咗 一 塊 石仔 ， 之後 再 飛 向 東面 嘅 大海 。 |||west|||||||||||||| It flies towards the great mountain in the west, carrying a small stone, and then flies towards the great sea in the east. 它飞向西面的大山，带了一块石头，然后再飞向东面的大海。 佢 一路 飛 ， 一路 悲鳴 ， 一 鬆 口 ， 石仔 就 跌入 大海 。 ||||screaming||||||| As it flies, it cries out in sorrow, and when it opens its mouth, the stone falls into the sea. 它一路飞，一路悲鸣，一松口，石头就掉入大海。

原來 精衛 係 想 填平 大海 。 ||||fill in| It turns out that Jingwei wants to fill the sea. 原来精卫是想填平大海。 大海 忍 唔 住 恥笑 佢 ： 「 雀 仔 呀 雀 仔 ， 你 無謂 嘥 心機 喇 —— 就算 你 做 一千 年 、 一萬 年 ， 都 唔 使 旨意 將 我 填平 呀 ！ 」 ||||||||||||unnecessary|||||||||||||||||| The sea couldn't help but mock him: "Little bird, little bird, there's no need for you to waste your effort—no matter if you work for a thousand years or ten thousand years, you will never be able to fill me up!" 大海忍不住嘲笑他："小鸟啊小鸟，你没必要浪费心机了——就算你做一千年、万年，都不需要想要把我填平！"

精衛 答 ：「 就算 我 做 一千 年 、 一萬 年 ， 做到 世界 末日 ， 做到 宇宙 滅亡 ， 我 都 要 將 你 填平 ！」 |||||||||||end of the world||||||||| Jingwei replied: "Even if I work for a thousand years or ten thousand years, until the end of the world, until the universe is destroyed, I will still fill you up!" 精卫回答："就算我做一千年、万年，做到世界末日，做到宇宙灭亡，我都要把你填平！"

大海 話 ：「 點解 你 咁 憎 我 呢 ？ The sea said: "Why do you hate me so much?" 大海说："你为什么这么恨我呢？ 」 精衛 回答 ：「 你 奪走 咗 我 年輕 嘅 生命 。 ||||||young|| Jingwei answered: "You took away my young life." "精卫回答："你夺走了我年轻的生命。 你 害 得 我 一 個 ， 就 會 再 害 第 二 個 、 第 三 個 人 。 If you harm one person, you will harm the second, the third person." 你害了我一个，就会再害第二个、第三个人。 如果 我 唔 將 你 填平 ， 你 就 會 害死 更 多 嘅 人 ！」 |||||||||harm|||| If I don't fill you in, you will end up harming more people! 如果我不把你填平，你就会害死更多的人！

精衛 不停 來回 飛 ， 佢 一路 飛 ， 一路 擔 石仔 或者 樹枝 。 |||||||||||branches Jingwei keeps flying back and forth, carrying stones or branches as she flies. 精卫不停来回飞，它一路飞，一路担石子或者树枝。 過 咗 一 年 、 十 年 、 一百 年 ， 佢 都 冇 停 過 。 After one year, ten years, a hundred years, she has never stopped. 过了一年、十年、一百年，它都没有停过。 過 咗 一萬 年 ， 佢 嘅 決心 依然 有增無減 —— 就算 佢 嘅 力量 係 幾 咁 微小 ， 佢 相信 終 有 一 日 ， 佢 可以 將 東面 嘅 大海 填平 ！ |||||||||||||||||||eventually|||||||||| After ten thousand years, her determination remains unwavering - even though her strength is so small, she believes that one day, she can fill the eastern sea! 过了一万年，他的决心依然有增无减——就算他的力量是多么微小，他相信终有一天，他可以将东面的大海填平！ 只要 精衛 一 日 喺 度 ， 一 日 佢 都 唔 會 停 。 As long as Jingwei is here, she will never stop. 只要精卫一天在这里，一天他都不会停。
