阿樂 嘅 屋企 唔 細 ， 有 三 間 房 、 兩 個 廁所 同 兩 個 廳 。 Alex's home is not small, it has three rooms, two toilets, and two living rooms. [1]阿樂的家不小，有三個房間、兩個廁所、客廳和飯廳。

佢 屋企 有 好多 人 ， 有 兩 個 大人 同 三 個 小朋友 。 There are many people in his home, including two adults and three children. [2]他家裡有很多人，有兩個大人和三個小孩。 屋企 成日 都 好 嘈 ， 啲 嘢 又 好 亂 。 The home is always noisy and things are messy. 家裡整天都很吵，東西又很亂。

枱 上面 有 未 洗 嘅 碗 同 碟 ， 爸爸 同 媽媽 都 唔 想 洗 ， 佢哋 都 覺得 洗碗 好 辛苦 。 The table is filled with unwashed dishes and plates. Dad and Mom don't want to wash them as they find it tiring. [3]桌子上面有沒洗好的碗碟，爸爸和媽媽都不想洗，他們都覺得洗碗很辛苦。

張 櫈 上面 又 有 三 件 衫 同埋 四 條 褲 喇 ， 阿樂 想 坐 都 坐 唔 到 。 On the chair, there are three shirts and four pairs of pants, so Alex can't even sit. [4]椅子上面又有三件衣服跟四條褲子，阿樂想坐也坐不到。

阿樂 想 去 廁所 。 Alex wants to go to the toilet. [5]阿樂想去廁所。 左面 嘅 廁所 有人 ， 爸爸 喺 入面 沖涼 。 The toilet on the left is occupied, Dad is inside showering. 左邊的廁所有人，爸爸在裏面洗澡。

佢 轉 右 ， 右面 嘅 廁所 都 有 人 ， 佢 拍門 。 Alex turns right, but there's someone in the toilet on the right as well, so he knocks on the door. [6]他右轉，右邊的廁所也有人，他敲門。

佢 細佬 同 佢 講 ： 「 不如 你 落 下面 公園 啦 。 」 His younger brother tells him, "Why don't you go to the park downstairs." [7]他弟弟跟他說：「不如你到樓下公園吧。」

佢 覺得 好 嬲 ， 佢 知道 細佬 一定 喺 入面 玩 緊 電話 。 Alex feels angry, he knows his younger brother must be playing on the phone inside. [8]他覺得很生氣，他知道弟弟一定在裏面玩手機。 佢 唔係 亂 估 ， 佢 見 過 。 He is not mistaken; he has seen it before. 他不是亂猜，他見過。

佢 落街 ， 去 廁所 ， 再 返 上嚟 ， 同 媽媽 講 返 呢 件 事 。 He goes out to the street to use the toilet and comes back to tell his mom about it. [9]他下樓，去廁所，再回來，跟媽媽講這件事情。 媽媽 話 ： 「 做 人 哥哥 ， 唔應該 同 細佬 嘈 。 」 Mom says, "As an older brother, you shouldn't argue with your younger brother." 媽媽說：「身為哥哥，不應該跟弟弟吵。」

佢 覺得 冇 人 明白 佢 ， 真係 好 想 喊 。 He feels that no one understands him and really wants to cry. [10]他覺得沒有人明白他，真的很想哭。 成日 有 人 話 男仔 唔 應該 喊 ， 佢 覺得 噉 諗 有啲 問題 。 People always say that boys shouldn't cry, he thinks there's a problem with that thinking. 常常有人說男生不應該哭，他覺得這樣想有點問題。 男 同 女 都 好 ， 想 喊 ， 就 喊 。 Both boys and girls are fine, if they want to cry, they should cry. 男生跟女生也好，想哭，就哭。

佢 入 房 ， 喊 咗 一陣 ， 行 出 房 。 He goes into his room, cries for a while, then walks out. [11]他進房間，哭了一陣子，步出房間。 細妹 睇 緊 電視 ， 佢哋 一齊 睇 ， 睇 到 笑 唔 停 。 His little sister is watching TV. They watch together and can't stop laughing. 妹妹在看電視，他們一起看，看到笑不停。

小朋友 就 係 噉樣 ， 喊 一陣 ， 笑 一陣 ， 一 日 就 過 咗 。 That's how children are - crying for a while, laughing for a while. And just like that, the day is over. [12]小朋友就是這樣子，一下哭，一下笑，一天就過去了。 大人 唔 喊 ， 又 唔 笑 ， 日日 都 好 難過 。 The adult neither cries nor laughs, feeling down every day. 大人不哭，也不笑，天天都很難過。
