昌仔 今日 生日 ， 佢 七 歲 喇 ！ Today is Chang's birthday. He is seven years old!

佢 哥哥 家姐 想 送 一 條 金魚 畀 佢 。 His older brother and sister want to give him a goldfish.

佢哋 一齊 坐 小巴 去 金魚街 。 They all take the minibus to Goldfish Street.

條 街 好 熱 ， 上 到 小巴 好 凍 。 The street is very hot. It's freezing inside the minibus.

有 個 伯伯 話 ： 「 喂 ， 唔該 郁 一 郁 ， 畀 我 坐 一 坐 。 」 There is a man who says, "Hey, please give me a seat to sit on."

到 喇 ！ Finally! 到 喇 ！ Finally!

佢哋 落 咗 小巴 ， 條 街 好 熱 。 They get off the minibus. The street is very hot.

「 嘩 ！ "Wow! 有 好多 金魚 ！ 」 There are so many goldfish!"

昌仔 拍手 大叫 。 Chang claps his hands and shouts.

昌仔 見到 一 條 魚 喺 水 度 游 嚟 游 去 。 Chang sees a fish swimming in the water.

條 魚 個 口 又 喺度 郁 下 郁 下 。 The fish keeps opening and closing its mouth.

昌仔 問 佢 哥哥 家姐 ： Chang asks his older brother and sister,

「 條 魚 係 唔係 口渴 ？ "Is the fish thirsty? 條 魚 係 唔係 喺度 飲 緊 水 ？ 」 Is the fish drinking water?"

哥哥 答 ： 「 唔係 。 」 His brother answers, "No."

昌仔 又 問 ： Chang asks again,

「 噉 條 魚 係 唔係 肚餓 ？ "So, is the fish hungry?" 條 魚 係 唔係 喺度 食 緊 嘢 ？ 」 Is the fish eating something here?

家姐 答 ： 「 唔係 。 」 My sister replied, "No."

有 個 叔叔 行 過嚟 ， 佢 話 條 魚 喺度 呼吸 緊 。 An uncle walked over and said the fish is breathing here.

叔叔 又 問 ： 「 細路 ， 有冇 邊 條 魚 你 想 要 ？ 」 Uncle asked again, 'Little one, which fish do you want?'

昌仔 見 到 有 一 條 魚 ， 條 尾 又 長 又 靚 ， When Chang saw a fish with a long and beautiful tail,

佢 同 叔叔 講 佢 想 要 嗰 條 魚 。 he told Uncle that he wanted that fish.

「 呢 條 ？ What about this one? 好 ！ Okay! 噉 不如 要 埋 啲 魚糧 啦 ？ How about burying some fish food? 細細粒 ， 啲 魚 好 鍾意 食 㗎 。 」 Small fish like to eat these tiny pellets.

條 街 好 熱 ， 昌仔 搦 住 一 袋 二 袋 ， The street was very hot, so Chang-zi carried one bag and then another bag.

跟住 哥哥 家姐 一齊 上 小巴 ， 小巴 好 凍 。 Followed by my older brother and sister, we took the minibus together, and the minibus was very cold.
