嗰 隻 幫 小靜 ， 呢 隻 幫 大明 ， 又 有 一 隻 小 雀仔 去 幫 小澄澄 。 One sparrow helps Xiao Jing, another one helps Da Ming, and there is also one for Xiao Chengcheng.

小靜 想 瞓 瞓唔着 ， 佢 同 佢 隻 雀仔 講 ︰ 「 我 要 數 雀仔 。 」 Xiao Jing is unable to fall asleep and she speaks to her sparrow, saying, "I want to count sparrows."

雀仔 飛 上 天 ， 叫 埋 佢 啲 朋友仔 。 The sparrows fly into the sky and call their friends. 一 隻 、 兩 隻 、 三 隻 、 四 隻 …… One, two, three, four...

小澄澄 個 公公 ， 上 個 月 去 咗 天 嗰度 。 Xiao Chengcheng's grandfather went to heaven last month.

小澄澄 成日 見 唔 到 公公 ， 夜晩 望 住 個 天空 。 Xiao Chengcheng often cannot see her grandfather and looks at the sky every night.

佢 見 到 有 隻 小 雀 仔 ， 喺 佢 頭上 飛 。 He saw a little sparrow flying above his head.

佢 同 雀仔 講 ︰ 「 我 好 想 見 公公 。 」 He said to the sparrow, "I really want to see my grandfather."

雀仔 飛 上 天 。 The sparrow flew up into the sky. 小澄澄 喺 個 天空 度 ， 見到 公公 對 住 佢 笑 。 Little Chengcheng, in the sky, saw his grandfather smiling at him.
