決定 Decide

我 條 村 要 面對 好 多 問題。 My village has to face many problems. 村 中 剩係 有 一個 水喉 ，我哋 日日 都 要 排長龍 去 打水。 There was just one tap in the village, and we had to queue up every day to fetch water.

我哋 要 等 住 第二 啲 人 捐 嘢 俾 我 哋 食。 We have to wait for the second person to donate something for us to eat.

我 哋 晚晚 好 早 都 要 鎖住 大門 ，因為 驚 賊 入 嚟。 We have to lock the door at night and early because of the surprise burglars coming in.

有 唔少 細蚊仔 未 讀 完 書 就 停學。 There are many children who stop school before they finish their studies.

後生 嘅 女仔 被 逼 去 到 隔籬 村 做 女傭。 The daughter of the latter was forced to work as a maid in the next village.

後生 嘅 男仔 唔係 成日 喺 條 村 度 遊蕩 ，就係 去 人 哋 嘅 農場 度 打工。 Instead of wandering around the villages, the boys of the late teens go to work on their farms.

返 風 嘅 時候 ，啲 廢紙 就 周圍 亂 噉 飛 ，掛 喺 樹頂 同 籬笆 上面。 When the wind is blowing, the waste paper flies around and hangs on the tops of trees and fences.

玻璃 碎 掟 到 周圍 都係 ，好多 人 都 被 玻璃 碎 劃 親。 Glass shattered and thrown all around, and many people were hit by the broken glass.

終於 有 一日 ，水龍頭 乾涸 咗 ，大家 接 唔 到 水 嘞。 Finally, one day, the faucet dried up and no one could receive water.

我 老竇 逐家 逐 戶 噉 勸 人 ，召集 條 村 嘅 居民 開會。 My husband persuaded people door-to-door and called a meeting with the residents of the village.

大家 聚 到 一 棵 大 樹 底下 ，準備 開會。 Everyone gathered at the base of a large tree and prepared for a meeting.

我 老 竇 企 咗 起身 ，話 ：「我哋 一定 要 團結 合作 ，解決 我 哋 嘅 問題。」 My oldest sinus got up and said, "We must work together to solve our problems.

八 歲 嘅 珠瑪 坐 喺 樹幹 上面 ，大聲 噉 就 話 ：「我 可以 幫手 清理 條 村。」 Sitting on a tree trunk, eight-year-old Juma says in a loud voice, "I can help clean up the village.

一個 女人 又 企 咗 起身 話 ：「我 可以 搵 班 女仔 ，一齊 種 莊稼。」 A woman got up again and said, "I can find a girl to grow crops with me.

又 有 一個 男人 企起身 話 ：「班 男仔 可以 幫住 打井。」 Another man stood up and said, "This man can help us drill the well.

我 哋 異口同聲 噉 就 話 ：「我 哋 一定 要 改變 我 哋 嘅 生活。」 We all say the same thing: "We have to change our lives," in one voice. 由 嗰 日 開始 ，大家 都 齊心協力 ，解決問題。 From that day on, we all worked together to solve the problem.
