النهاردَه أنا حابِب أتكَلِّم عَن تَعبيرات و كَلِمات مُختَلِفَة Today, I would like to talk about different expressions and words Aujourd'hui, je voudrais parler de différentes expressions et mots

عَشان نِقول شُكراً فِي مَصر to say thank you in Egypt pour dire merci en Egypte

في اللَهجَة المَصْرِيَّة in the Egyptian dialect dans le dialecte égyptien

لأن كان فِيه واحِد صاحبِي هِنا في مَصر. هو مِش مَصري Because there was a friend of mine here in Egypt. He is not Egyptian Parce qu'il y avait un de mes amis ici en Egypte. Il n'est pas égyptien

ما بِيِتكَلِّمش .. يعني.. المَصري كَلُغَة أولى He does not speak.. I mean.. Egyptian as a first language Il ne parle pas… je veux dire… l'égyptien comme première langue

و كان .. هو لاحِظ إنُّه الناس هِنا في مَصر بِتِستَخدِم كَلِمات كِتير و تَعبيرات كِتير مُختَلِفَة عَن كِلمِة شُكراً and he was.. he noticed that people here in Egypt use many words and expressions different from the word “Thank you” et il l'était… il a remarqué que les gens ici en Egypte utilisent de nombreux mots et expressions différents du mot « merci »

مِش بَس كِلمِة شُكراً. يعني not just the word “Thank you” et pas seulement du mot « merci »

فَدي كانِت صَعبَة شوَيَّة بِالنِسبالُه So this was a little difficult for him Donc ça a été un peu difficile pour lui

فأنا حَبِّيت أعمِل الفيديو دَه عَشان نِتكَلِّم عَن التَعبيرات المُختَلِفَة دِي so I wanted to make this video to talk about these different expressions alors j'ai voulu faire cette vidéo pour parler de ces différentes expressions

طَبعاً دِي مُهِمَّة أكتَر بِالنِسبَة للمُستَوَى المُتَقَدِّم Of course, this is more important for the advanced level Bien sûr, c'est plus important pour le niveau avancé

و حَتَّى لَو مِش هَتِستَخدِم التَعبيرات دِي عَشان تِقول شُكراً حَتَّى لَو هَتِستَخدِم كِلمِة شُكراً بَس and even if will not use these expressions to say thank you, even if you will only use the word “Shokran” et même si vous n'utiliserez pas ces expressions pour dire merci, même si vous n'utiliserez que le mot "Shokran"

المُهِم بَردو إنَّك تِفهَم التَعبيرات دِي و تِعرَف إزَّاي الناس بِتِستَخدِمها it is important that you also understand these expressions and know how people use them il est important que vous compreniez également ces expressions et sachiez comment les gens les utilisent

أوِّل تَعبير أنا حابِب أتكَلِّم عَنُّه هو فِعل مَوجود بِنِستَخدِمُه بِصيغِة الأمر The first expression I would like to talk about is an existing verb that we use in the imperative mood. La première expression dont je voudrais parler est un verbe qui existe. Nous l'utilisons à la forme impérative

اللي هو "تِسلَم" لَو بَتكَلِّم مع راجِل .. لَو بَتكَلِّم مع واحِد which is “teslam” if we were talking to a man.. if I was talking to a male qui est « teslam » si nous parlions à un homme.. si je parlais à un homme

.. لَو بَتكَلِّم مع واحدَة "تِسلَمي". لَو بَتكَلِّم مع مَجموعَة "تِسلَموا" if I was talking to a female “teslami”. If was talking to a group "teslamou" si je parlais à une femme « teslami ». Si parlait à un groupe "teslamou"

فَتِسلَم هي ..يعني.. كاجوال شوَيَّة أكتَر مِن شُكراً بَس الناس بِتِستَخدِمها كِتير جِدَّاً So, “teslam” is ..I mean.. a bit casual more than “shokran” but people use it a lot Donc, « teslam » est… je veux dire… un peu plus décontracté que « shokran » mais les gens l'utilisent beaucoup

بِتِستَخدِمها طُول الوَقت They use it all the time Ils l'utilisent tout le temps

هو "تِسلَم" ..هي.. الفِعل دَه مِن الصِفَة "سَليم". سَليم يَعني بالإنجليزي intact He is “received”...she.. This verb is from the adjective “saleem”. Salim means intact in English ce verbe vient de l'adjectif « salim ». Salim signifie intact en anglais

هِنا مَعناها إنُّه سَليم إنُّه ماعَندوش أي مُشكِلَة Here what it means is that he is healthy and that he does not have any problem Ici, cela signifie qu'il est en bonne santé et qu'il n'a aucun problème

يَعني ماعندوش مُشكِلَة مَثَلاً صِحِّيَّة. أو مُشكِلَة مُمكِن ماديَّة أو حاجة I mean, he doesn't have a health problem, for example. Or a financial problem or need Je veux dire, il n'a pas de problème de santé, par exemple. Ou peut-être un problème financier ou quelque chose

فَتِسلَم هِنا مَعناها .. يَعني .. زَي إيه .. أتمَنَّى إنَّك تِكون كُوَيِّس So “teslam” here means.. I mean.. like eh.. I hope you are/will be good Donc "teslam" ici signifie.. Je veux dire.. comme hein.. J'espère que vous êtes/serez bien

حاجة زَي كِدَه يَعني Something like this Une chose comme ça

فَدي طَريقَة عَشان بَردو نِقول شُكراً So, this is a way for us also to say thank you C'est donc une façon pour nous aussi de dire merci

يَعني لَو حَد عَمَل حاجة فَمُمكِن بَدَل ما نِقول شُكراً مُمكِن تِقول "تِسلَم" I mean, if someone does something, instead of saying thank you, you can say “thank you.” Je veux dire, si quelqu'un fait quelque chose, alors au lieu de dire "shokran", vous pouvez dire "teslam"

و عَلَى فِكرَة مُمكِن تِستَخدِم الاِتنين مَع بَعض. يعني مُمكِن حَد يِقول And by the way, you can use the two together. I mean, someone can say Et au fait, vous pouvez utiliser les deux ensemble. Je veux dire, on peut dire

اه .. "تِسلَم شُكراً". الاِتنين مَع بَعض Ah.. “Thank you.” The two of them together "Ah, chokran. teslam" Les deux ensemble

تانِي تَعبير طَبعاً اللي هو عَشان أكتَر شوَيَّة مِن شُكراً The second expression, of course, because it’s a little more than thank you La deuxième expression, bien sûr, car c'est un peu plus que merci

اللي هو بَقَى بالإنجليزي يَعني Thank you so much which is in English, it’s “Thank you so much” qui est en anglais, c'est « Merci beaucoup »

مُمكِن تِقول شُكراً جَزيلاً. شُكراً جَزيلاً هي طَبعاً تَعبير مُهِم جِدَّاً Can you say thank you very much. Thank you very much. This is of course a very important expression On peut dire « chokran gazilan ». Chokran gazilan, bien sûr, c'est une expression très importante

و التَعبير دَه مَوجود مش بَس في مَصر. هو مَوجود فِي الفُصحَى and this expression doesn’t only exist in Egypt. It exists in Standard Arabic et cette expression n'existe pas qu'en Egypte. Elle existe en arabe standard

و مَوجود تَقريباً فِي كُل الدِوَل العَرَبيَّة لَكِن شُكراً جَزيلاً أو شُكراً جَزيلاً هو تَعبير رَسمِي شوَيَّة and exists in almost all Arab countries, but “shokran gazeelan” or “shokran jazeelan” is a somewhat formal expression mais « chokran gazilan » ou « chokran jazilan » est une expression un peu formelle

يَعني لَو عايِز تِتكَلِّم بِطَريقَة رَسمِيَّة شوَيَّة طَبعاً بِتقول شُكراً جَزيلاً I mean, if you want to speak in a more formal way, of course you can say shokran gazeelan Je veux dire, si vous voulez parler d'une manière plus formelle, vous pouvez bien sûr dire chokran gazilan

فِيه تَعبير تانِي. هو مِش رَسمي. هو كاجوال أكتَر شوَيَّة There’s another expression. It's not formal. It's a little more casual Il y a une autre expression. Ce n'est pas formel. C'est un peu plus familier

هو تَعبير "ألف شُكر"..تمام؟.. ألف شُكر It is the expression “alf shokr” .. ok? .. a thousand thanks C'est un peu plus familier. C'est l'expression "alf chokr" .. ok ? .. mille mercis

دِي بَردو طَريقَة تانِية عَشان ..يَعني نِقول حاجة هي أكتَر شوَيَّة مِن كِلمِة شُكراً this is another way to .. I mean, say something that is a little more than the word thank you c'est une autre façon de .. je veux dire, dire quelque chose qui est un peu plus que le mot merci

الحاجة التالتة هي إن إحنا نِستَخدِم مَثلاً حاجة زَي The third thing is if we use, for example, something like La troisième chose est si nous utilisons, par exemple, quelque chose comme

"الله يِخَلِّيك" أو "رَبِّنا يِخَلِّيك" لَو بَتكَلِّم مَع واحِد “Allah yekhalleek” or “Rabbena yekhalleek” if I am talking to male « Allah yekhallik » ou « Rabbena yekhallik » si je parle à un homme

أو "الله يِخَلِّيكو" أو "رَبِّنا يِخَلِّيكو" لَو بَتكَلِّم مَع مَجموعَة مِن الناس Or “Allah yekhalleekou” or “Rabbena yekhalleekou” if I am talking to a group of people Ou « Allah yekhallikou » ou « Rabbena yekhallikou » si je parle à un groupe de personnes

التَعبير دَه هو تَعبير كوميدي شوَيَّة لأنُّه "الله يِخَلِّيك" يَعني This expression is a bit funny because “Allah yekhalleek” Cette expression est un peu drôle car « Allah yekhallik »

مَعناها حَرفِيَّاً إنَّك تِفضَل عايِش يَعني literally means that you stay alive signifie littéralement que tu restes en vie

إنَّك ما تِموتش دِلوَقتي. إنَّك تِعيش فَترَة أطوَل يَعني You don’t die now. I mean you live longer Tu ne meurs pas maintenant. Je veux dire que tu vis plus longtemps

هو تَعبير يَعني بَشوفُه كوميدي شوَيَّة بَس تَعبير مُهِم جِدَّاً It is an expression that I see a bit funny, but it is a very important expression C'est une expression que je trouve un peu drôle, mais c'est une expression très importante

و الناس بِتِستَخدِمُه كِتير عَشان تِقول شُكراً and people use it a lot to say thank you et les gens l'utilisent beaucoup pour dire merci

يَعني ..مِن التَعبيرات .. هو مَعناه فِي النِهايَة شُكراً I mean..it’s one of the expressions..it means in the end, thank you Je veux dire... c'est l'une des expressions... ça veut dire à la fin, merci

هي دي التَرجَمَة اللي لَو عايِز تِتَرجِم مَثَلاً بالإنجليزي فَهتِتَرجِم إنُّه "شُكرا" This is the translation. If you want to translate, for example, into English, you should translate it as “thank you” C'est la traduction. Si tu souhaites traduire, par exemple, en anglais, tu dois le traduire par « merci »

فِيه تَعبير تانِي زَي "الله يِخَلِّيك" هو "الله يِكرِمَك" لَو بَكَلِّم واحِد There’s another expression like “Allah yekhalleek” is “Allah yekremak” if I am talking to a male Il y a une autre expression comme "Allah yekhallik" est "Allah yekremak" si je parle à un homme

لَو بَتكَلِّم مَع واحدَة "رَبِّنا" .. أو "الله يِكرِمِك" أو "رَبِّنا يِكرِمِك" If I am talking to a female, “Rabbena” .. or “Allah yekremik” or “Rabbena yekremik” Si je parle à une femme, « Rabbena » .. ou « Allah yekremik » ou « Rabbena yekremik »

لَو بَتكَلِّم مَع مَجموعَة هي "الله يِكرِمكو" أو "رَبِّنا يِكرِمكو If I am talking to a group, it is “Allah yekremkou” or “Rabbena yekremkou” Si je parle à un groupe, c'est « Allah yekremkou » ou « Rabbena yekremkou »

يِكرِم هِنا هي جايَّة مِن الكَرَم أو إنُّه.. إنُّه يَعني.. إنُّه رَبِّنا يِدِّيك Yekrem here comes from generosity or it.. it means.. it is, our Lord gives you Yekrem ici vient de la générosité ou cela.. cela signifie.. c'est, notre Seigneur vous donne

بَقَى.. فِلوس أو صِحَّة كوَيِّسَة أو كِدَه و دَه.. طَبعاً.. دَه دُعاء يَعني hmm.. money or good health or something like this.. of course.. a prayer hmm.. de l'argent ou une bonne santé ou quelque chose comme ça.. bien sûr.. c'est une prière

فَدي طَريقة بَردو تانِية لإنَّك تِقول شُكراً So, this is another way to say thank you Alors, c'est une autre façon pour dire merci

و طَبعاً زَي ما قُلت قَبل كِدَه إنَّك مُمكِن تِستَخدِم الاِتنين مَع بَعض And of course, as I said before, you can use the two together Et bien sûr, comme je l'ai déjà dit, tu peux utiliser les deux ensemble

يَعني مُمكِن أقول مَثَلاً "اه..شُكراً رَبِّنا يِكرِمَك". زَي كِدَه I mean, I can say, for example, "Oh..Thank you, may God honor/bless you." Like this Je veux dire, je peux dire, par exemple, "Oh.. Merci, que Dieu vous honore/vous bénisse." Comme ça

الاِتنين مَع بَعض. أو "رَبِّنا يِخَلِّيكي شُكراً". يَعني هِنا بَستَخدِم الاِتنين مَع بَعض مَفيش مُشكِلَة خالِص The two together. or "May God bless you. Thank you" I mean here I am using the two together, there is no problem at all Les deux ensemble. ou "Que Dieu vous bénisse. Merci" Je veux dire ici, j'utilise les deux ensemble, il n'y a aucun problème

آخِر حاجة هي زَي "الله يِخَلِّيك" و زَي "الله يِكرِمَك The last thing is like "Allah yekhalleek" and "Allah yekremak" La dernière chose est comme "Allah yekhallik" et "Allah yekremak"

هي "الله يِبارِك لَك". طَبعاً مِن البَرَكَة اللي هي blessing بالإنجليزي يَعني It is "Allah yebarek lak". Of course from the “barakah” which is blessing in English C'est "Allah yebarek lak". Bien sûr de la « barakah » qui est la bénédiction en anglais

فَبَردو دَه تَعبير يَعني مُمكِن تِقول "الله يِبارِك لَك" أو "رَبِّنا يِبارِك لَك So, this is an expression so you can say “Allah yebarek lak” or “Rabbena yebarek lak” Donc, c'est une expression pour que vous puissiez dire « Allah yebarek lak » ou « Rabbena yebarek lak »

الله يِبارِك لِك" "رَبِّنا يِبارِك لِك" لَو بَكَلِّم واحدَة طَبعاً “Allah yebarek lik” “Rabbena yebarek lik” if I am talking to a female, of course « Allah yebarek lik » « Rabbena yebarek lik » si je parle à une femme, bien sûr

فَدي طَبعاً تَعبيرات مُهِمَّة جِدَّاً. أنا عارِف إن هي..يَعني مُعظَم الناس مش بِتدَرِّس التَعبيرات دِي So, of course, these are very important expressions. I know that it is.. و لِلأسَف الناس ما بِتِدرِسهاش. عَشان كِدَه بِيكون صَعب بِالنِسبَة لُهم شوَيَّة إنُّهُم يِفهَموا التَعبيرات دِي And unfortunately people don't study them. That is why it is a little difficult for them to understand these expressions Et malheureusement, les gens ne les étudient pas. C'est pourquoi il leur est un peu difficile de comprendre ces expressions
