Basic Sentence Structure

Punjabi follows a Subject + Object + Verb (SOV) structure.

Examples:

• I eat food → ਮੈਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ (Main khana khanda han).
• He is reading a book → ਉਹ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ (Oh kitaab parh riha hai).
