In the last episode, we talked about some background knowledge of Journey to the West. 包括 作者 是  誰 ， 它 是 在 什麼 時候 被 寫 出來 的 還有 西遊記 這 本 書 是 一 本 諷刺 小說 ， 在 諷刺 當時 國家 的 權利 和 政治 。 Including who the author is, when it was written, and the book Journey to the West is a satirical novel that satirizes the rights and politics of the country at that time.

2.  故事 的 主角 ： 孫悟空 2\. The protagonist of the story: Monkey King

西遊記 的 故事 在 說 什麼 呢 ？ What is the story of Journey to the West?

They are called monks. 僧侶は仏教を信じる人々であり、仏教の普及と促進を助ける人々であり、僧侶と呼ばれています。 通常 ， 你 看 到 和尚 ， 他們 都 是 沒有 頭髮 的 。 Usually, when you see monks, they all have no hair.

如來 佛 告訴 孫悟空 ：「 你 會 被 壓 在 五指山 下 五 百年 ， 五 百年 後 ， 你 會 看 到 一 個 騎 著 白 馬 ， 穿著 袈裟 的 和尚 ， 你 要 跟著 這個 和尚 一起 到 西天 取經 ， 而且 你 要 保護 這個 和尚 ， 你 要 幫助 這個 和尚 。」 The Tathagata told Monkey King: "You will be crushed under Wuzhi Mountain for five hundred years. Five hundred years later, you will see a monk riding a white horse and wearing a robes. This monk, you have to help this monk.” 如來 佛 講 完 這些 話 之後 ， 就 走 了 ， 就 不見 了 。 After the Tathagata finished speaking these words, he left and disappeared.

孫悟空 這 隻 猴子 ， 在 五指山 下 每天 等 呀 等 呀 等 地 ， 等 了 五 百 多 年 ， 終於 有 一 天 ， 他 聽 到 了 馬 的 聲音 、 馬蹄 的 聲音 ：dodododododododo.... Monkey King, the monkey, waited and waited every day at the foot of Wuzhi Mountain. After waiting for more than five hundred years, finally one day, he heard the sound of horses and horseshoes: dodododododododo...

5.  緊 箍 和 咒語 5\. Hoops and spells

他 非常 的 高興 ， 因為 他 知道 ， 這個 人 ， 就是 如來 佛 說 的 人 ， 他 終於 可以 從 五指山 出來 了 。 He was very happy because he knew that this person is what the Tathagata Buddha said, and he can finally come out of Wuzhishan. 他 可以 跟著 這個 人 去 西天 取經 。 He can follow this person to Xitian to learn the scriptures. 這個 和尚 的 名字 叫做 唐僧 ( 唐三藏 )。 The monk's name is Tang Seng (Tang San Zang).

所以 孫悟空 就要 跟著 這個 唐僧 ( 唐三藏 ) 一起 去 西天 取經 ， 而且 要 保護 他 。 So Sun Wukong would go to the Western Heaven with this Tang Seng (Tang Sanzang) to learn the scriptures, and to protect him.

可是 ， 大家 還 記得 ， 他 非常 的 調皮 ， 他 常常 不 聽 唐僧 的話 ， 所以 ， 唐僧 就 給 他 帶 了 一 個 東西 在 頭上 。 However, everyone still remembers that he was very naughty. 因為 唐僧 他 是 一 個 普通 的 人類 ， 他 沒有 任何 法力 ， 他 沒有 任何 魔法 ， 而且 ， 因為 他 是 和尚 ， 聽說 ， 只要 吃 了 唐僧 ， 把 唐僧 這個 和尚 吃掉 ， 就 可以 長生不老 。 Because Tang Seng is an ordinary human being, he does not have any mana, he does not have any magic, and because he is a monk, I heard that as long as you eat Tang Seng, if you eat Tang Seng, you can live forever.

什麼 是 長生不老 呢 ？ What is immortality? 就是 你 可以 永遠 的 活下去 ， 都 不會 死亡 ， 你 可以 一直 活著 。 That is, you can live forever, never die, you can always live.

因為 這樣 ， 在 他們 去 西天 取經 的 路上 ， 有 很 多 很 多 的 妖怪 ， 都 想要 把 唐僧 吃掉 ， 所以 ， 孫悟空 才 要 保護 唐僧 。 Because of this, on their way to the Western Heaven to collect scriptures, there are many, many monsters who want to eat Tang Seng, so Sun Wukong wants to protect Tang Seng.

7.  其他 重要 的 角色 7\. Other important roles
