Siku moja, mama alileta matunda mengi. One day, mother brought many fruits.

“Tutakula matunda lini?” tunauliza. “Tutakula matunda leo jioni,” mama anasema. "When will we eat fruit?" we ask. "We will eat fruit this evening," says the mother.

Kaka yangu Rahim ni mlafi. Anaonja onja matunda yote. Anakula matunda mengi. My brother Rahim is a glutton. He tastes taste all the fruits. He eats a lot of fruit.
