Story 15. Amy Gets a Bike
Amy wants a bike.
She wants a yellow bike.
One day, her dad says, “Let's get you a bike today.”
They go to the bike store.
The new bike is expensive.
It costs more than a hundred dollars.
The bike store also sells used bikes.
The used bikes are good bikes, too.
They cost only fifty dollars, and there is a yellow one.
Looking at the price, Amy says, “I will take the used bike.”
Why?
Amy knows that money does not grow on trees.
I like this yellow bike.
