Get in the car, says Josh's dad.
Let's go to the mountains.
They drive to the mountains.
As they get closer, they see that the mountains are not purple anymore.
Oh, I see, says Josh.
But why?
From far away, the light scatters, making the mountains look purple, says his dad.
Cool, says Josh.
Let's drive home and make them purple again.
Why are the mountains not purple up close?
