The Big Bang Theory, 1. Season 8, episode 22, Part 2

1. Season 8, episode 22, Part 2

How'd you get ready so fast?

Oh, I pack light. Once, I got through an entire spring break with nothing but a long T-shirt and a belt. Why did you need a belt? It's called an evening look. I've never been to New Jersey before. It gets a bad rap from shows like Jersey Shore and Real Housewives. So it's not really like that? No, it's like that. Well, I'm excited to show you around. You think we'll have time to visit your mom over there? Yes. We'll also have time to put my junk in a garlic press, but I'm not doing that either. (phone chimes) Uh-oh. I just got an alert. Our flight's been canceled. What? Yeah, looks like there's a big storm all up the East Coast. Well, can we get on another airline? I don't think so. So, that's it? We're not going? I guess not. (scoffs) Well, that sucks. Yeah. I worked hard on that speech, too. Oh. You could tell it to me. Oh, thank you, but I'm okay. Are you sure? I could pretend I'm a high school cheerleader who can't control herself around esteemed alumni. Greetings, distinguished cheerleaders.

How’d you get ready so fast? Como você se preparou tão rápido?

Oh, I pack light. Oh, eu carrego leve. Once, I got through an entire spring break with nothing but a long T-shirt and a belt. Why did you need a belt? It’s called an evening look. I’ve never been to New Jersey before. It gets a bad rap from shows like Jersey Shore and Real Housewives. So it’s not really like that? Então não é bem assim? No, it’s like that. Não, é assim mesmo. Well, I’m excited to show you around. Bem, estou animado para mostrar a você. You think we’ll have time to visit your mom over there? Yes. We’ll also have time to put my junk in a garlic press, but I’m not doing that either. (phone chimes) Uh-oh. I just got an alert. Acabei de receber um alerta. Our flight’s been canceled. Nosso vôo foi cancelado. What? Yeah, looks like there’s a big storm all up the East Coast. Well, can we get on another airline? Bem, podemos pegar outra companhia aérea? I don’t think so. Acho que não. So, that’s it? Então é isso? We’re not going? Nós não vamos? I guess not. Eu acho que não. (scoffs) Well, that sucks. Yeah. I worked hard on that speech, too. Também trabalhei muito nesse discurso. Oh. You could tell it to me. Você poderia dizer isso para mim. Oh, thank you, but I’m okay. Are you sure? I could pretend I’m a high school cheerleader who can’t control herself around esteemed alumni. Greetings, distinguished cheerleaders.
