Los Tres Chanchitos

Hay tres chanchitos, there are three little pigs who live together que viven juntos en una choza pequeña, in a small hut at the edge of town, por las afueras de la ciudad de Quito, Ecuador. The oldest little pig, el chanchito mayor se llama Pepe. Pepe tiene catorce años. Pepe is fourteen. Pepe believes he's all that, Pepe se cree mucho. El es el más gordo y redondo, he is the fattest and roundest de los tres chanchitos, he is the most fat of the three little pigs. Y él es el más bajo.
La casa de Pepe es de barro. Pepe's house is made of mud. La casa de Pepe no es muy fuerte y no es limpia. Pepe's house is not strong and it is not clean. A Pepe no le gusta limpiar. Pepe doesn't like to clean but he likes to cook, pero le gusta cocinar.
These three little pigs, estos tres chanchitos tienen un problema, they hava a problem. Hay un lobo malvado que vive cerca, there is an evil wolf that lives nearby.
El segundo chanchito, Juan, the second pig tiene once años, he is eleven. Su choza es de madera. His hut is made of wood, y es un poco más fuerte que la choza de Pepe, his hut is a little bit stronger than Pepe's. Juan trabaja mucho en su choza, he works a lot in his hut, limpiando, cleaning, cocinando, cooking. Juan camina todos los días a la casa de Pepe. A Pepe le gusta hablar con Juan solamente en las mañanas porque a el le gusta tocar la guitarra en las tardes. Pepe likes to talk to Juan only in the mornings because he likes to play the guitar in the afternoon.
El tercer Chanchito se llama Luís, the third little pig's name is Luís, and he is the youngest, es el menor de los tres, y tiene nueve años, y el también es el más inteligente, because his house, porque su casa es de ladrillos, is made of bricks, y entonces, and so then su casa es super, super fuerte. Luís también camina todos los días a la casa de Pepe. Luís solamente va a visitar a su hermano, Pepe en las mañanas porque a Pepe le gusta tocar guitarra en las tardes.
Hoy es viernes, today is friday, y el lobo, the wolf is really hungry, el lobo tiene mucha hambre. El lobo se llama Alfonso. Alfonso va primero, Alfonso goes first, a la casa de Pepe. It is already 3 oclock in the afternoon, ya son las tres de la tarde y Pepe está tocando la guitarra, and Pepe is playing guitar:
Alfonso, el lobo malvado, the evil wolf toca la puerta, knocks on the door:
Alfonso: ¡Hola! ¡Amigo! ¡Abre la puerta! Open the door.
Pepe:
De ninguna manera, Alfonso, No Way, Alfonso. I know what you want. Yo sé lo que quieres. Tú quieres comerme. You want to eat me.
Alfonso el Lobo:
No. Estoy a dieta, una dieta estricta sin jamón, I am on a strict diet wihout ham. Mi doctor dice que tengo colesterol. My doctor says I have cholesterol.
Pepe: ¡Sí, claro! Yeah! Right!
Alfonso:
I am going to huff and puff, yo voy a soplar y soplar fuerte y tu casa se va a caer and your house is going to fall down. ¡Ja!
¡Ja!
Pepe se asusta, Pepe gets scared y corre a la casa de Juan, and runs to Juan's house, and Juan closes the door and locks it, y Juan cierra la puerta con llave.
Alfonso el lobo también corre a la casa de Juan y escucha, and hears a los dos chanchitos, the two pigs hablar, hears the two pigs talk y toca la puerta, and he knocks on the door.
Alfonso:
¡Hola, amigos! ¡Qué bonito día, ¿no? What a beautiful day, isn't it? ¿Por qué ustedes no salen? Why don't you come out? Podemos hacer un picnic, una parrillada We can have a picnic, a barbecue.
Pepe:
Ha Ha. Very funny. ¡Qué chistoso eres!
Los dos hermanos, the two brothers salen por la puerta de la cocina, they go out the kitchen door, y corren a la casa de Luís. Luís abre la puerta, and they come in, y ellos entran.
Alfonso el lobo malo, the evil wolf también corre a la casa de Luís. Luís es muy inteligente, y sabe que, knows that Alfonso no puede destruir sus casa porque es fuerte y es de ladrillos.
Luís:
Mala suerte para ti, amigo. Bad luck for you friend. Mi casa es fuerte y es de ladrillos. Llamé a Carlos, el cazador de lobos, I called Carlos the wolf hunter, y él ya está en camino para matarte, he is on his way to kill you.
Alfonso:
¡Qué malo eres, amigo! and the wolf, el lobo corre al bosque, to the woods, asustado, scared.
