Story 14. A day to say, I like you.
Every year on February 14th, people around the world say, I like you, in a special way.
They send or give a card to a person they really like.
The day is called Valentine's Day.
It is very popular in the United States, Canada, and England.
In many schools, kids spend part of the Valentine's Day making cards.
They give them to friends, teachers, and special people.
No one knows for sure why this special day began.
It takes its name from a Christian saint called St. Valentine, but not much is known about him.
It's always a good thing to stop and tell someone how much you like them on any day of the year.
But it's kind of nice to know that on February 14th, millions of people are doing the same thing you are.
