Story 7. The Power of Ice
Last night, Jane left a bottle of water on the doorstep.
It was cold in the night.
Really cold!
When Jane went out in the morning, the glass bottle was broken.
It had broken into many pieces.
What happened? asked Jane.
Her dad said,
When water becomes ice, the ice gets bigger, and it breaks the bottle.
Wow!
Ice can be a very powerful thing.
How can the water break the bottle?
