Hi, I notice there are sentences that uses vous / nous repeatedly .
For example,Vous pourrez parler à un locuteur natif quand [vous vous] sentirez prêt.
They gives the same meaning after translation from french to english.
Kindly advice on this.
It’s reflexive.
You’d say “…quand je me sentirai prêt” in first person.
French just for some reason doesn’t have separate reflexive pronouns for “vous” and “nous”, so it looks weird…
This doesn’t always work with reflexive verbs, but in this case you could translate the phrase as, “…when you feel yourself ready.”
