Ich erzähle hier Begebenheiten, von denen ich auch in “Veras diary for beginners” erzählt habe, aber ausführlicher, mit mehr Wortschatz, komplexeren Strukturen und natürlich ist es auch schneller gesprochen.
Diese Sammlung ist geeignet ab Mittelstufe. Sind Dir die Texte zu schwer? Dann versuche es doch einmal mit “Vera’s Diary for beginners”.
Die Sammlung wird noch erweitert, also schaue immer mal wieder nach, ob es neue Inhalte gibt!
There are a lot new episodes. Please take a look! For example I talk about our trip to Paris and our holiday in the Black forest. Also there are a lot of short stories about everyday life. Veras Tagebuch will enrich your vocabulary. It contains a lot of useful phrases and expressions.
Es gibt viele neue Episoden! Schaut doch mal rein. Ich erzähle zum Beispiel von unserer Reise nach Paris und unserem Urlaub im Schwarzwald, aber es gibt auch viele kleine alltägliche Geschichten. Veras Tagebuch erweitert Euren Wortschatz und enthält viele gebräuchliche Redewendungen und Ausdrücke.
Es hat seit Wochen nicht geregnet. Der Boden ist total ausgedörrt. Mehr dazu in der neuen Folge meines Tagebuchs.
Die Folge gibt es in einer einfachen Variante für Anfänger in “Vera’s Diary for beginners” und für Mittelstufenlerner in “Veras Tagebuch”. Text und Audio findet man natürlich wie immer in der Bibliothek von LingQ.
By the way, I see you’re studying my diary for beginners. Have you ever tried to study the same lesson in the beginner diary first and than studying the same lesson in the intermediate diary (Veras Tagebuch)? I would be interested how this would work. So you would change from easier and more difficult lessons all the time. Would this work?
OK, I just read/listened to “Cuxhaven und Zoo in der Wingst” in the harder version. I like very much that you have made these two corresponding versions of the lessons. I think, though, that I am not quite ready for the harder version right now. I COULD read them and figure them out as I do with other harder lessons from time to time when I want a bit of a change. But your lessons I am using for my main study…
The Tagbuch version has too many new words for me right now. What I will do is finish the easier version, and then go through the easier version again and pair the lessons with the harder versions on my second time through. I think that will work very well. I’m looking forward to it.
I’m afraid, though, that summer vacation will be over before I get this accomplished.

I think some lessons in the advanced diary are easier than others. And often names of places and people increase the number of unknown words. In the advanced diary I use a lot of common phrases. So it is really helpful for the step to an intermediate learner. It’s more close to natural German. In the beginner diary I often simplify sentences.
