EnglishLingQ - Eating Out, Part 9

Peter: Are they older or younger than your parents?

Mary: They are quite a bit older.

They are still very active though.

Peter: What do they do to stay active?

Mary: They have always had an active life. My uncle worked for a large company as a salesman. My aunt was a school teacher. They are both retired now.

Peter: Do they live in the city or in the country?

Mary: They live in a beautiful house in the country, not too far from the city.

Peter: That must be nice.

Mary: Yes, they can go for walks in the forest for much of the year. In the winter they can ski.

Peter: Do they miss the city?

Mary: No, they are just 30 minutes by car from downtown. They can also take the train.

Peter: Here comes our food.
