EnglishLingQ - Eating Out, Part 5

Mary: Have you been to this restaurant before?

Peter: Yes I have been here before.

Mary: How often have you been here?

Peter: Pardon me?

Mary: How many times have you been here before?

Peter: I have been here at least 5 times.

Mary: What did you say?

Peter: I have been here many times.

Mary: Here comes the waiter.

Let’s order.

Peter: OK. Let’s ask the waiter for the menu.

Waiter: Hello. I will be your waiter this evening.

Peter: Good evening.

Waiter: Can I get you the menu?

Mary: Yes, please bring us a menu.

Waiter: Would you like to order something to drink while you wait for the menu?

Peter: Sure, I will have a beer. What about you, Mary?

Mary: No. I am fine for now. I usually do not drink more than one beer.
