Im learning Dutch. I would like to help you out with English, but I have a feeling that your English is already flawless. You Dutch folks have great English! 
Hey Melkmeisje quick question, do you pronounce the letter 'H" in the word “Het”? Its really hard to hear the pronunciation from Google Translate.

Hi MarkE, Thanks for your post. Yes the H is pronounced. It’s pronounced exactly the same as in Hello or Hand in English. Those translation machines don’t always get it right with pronunciation. Nice to hear you’re having a go at Dutch. Feel free to contact me if you want to try out a few sentences or a bit of conversation on your current level.
