Why is る dropped

I can’t figure out why る is occasionally dropped (at least in songs and anime). Is it the imperative form or slang or something else?

Here’s some examples from my lingq imports. I put square brackets [ ] around the words with the dropped る and the english translation.

空からの優しさに[だかれ]… I am [embraced] by the kindness from the sky
[凍え]そうな躯(からだ)と This [frozen] body and
また灯(ひ)が一つ落[とされ] Once again, another light has [fallen]
どうか [見逃して [くれ] Please [overlook] me

「だか」れる
だかれない (未然形)
だかれた (連用形)
だかれる(終止形)
だかれるとき(連体形)
だかれれば(仮定形)
だかれろ(命令形)

「れる」は、助動詞(受身)。
「だく」は、動詞(他動詞、5段活用)。
