Where can I find history related content?

Hi there! Does anyone know where I can find some interesting content with both the audio and the text on Japan’s History in Japanese please?

I have already spent quite some time searching on the net without success… So I was wondering if someone had heared about a website/book with CD(or even books used at school) on Japan’s history.
It can be something really general or on a specific Area/Character, I will not be picky :slight_smile:

Have you tried finding Murakami’s The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles as an audio book? There is some fascinating writing about Japan’s forgotten history - the wars of the 20th century - throughout the book, even if it is not a history book as such. The Japanese edition ought to be available as a book to accompany the audio.

They publish the high school textbook 詳説日本史 about Japanese history in Japanese.
The audio book for this textbook is available in iTunes Store (Japan). You can listen to the part of it in iTunes store.

I have just found the another publishing company named Sanseido.

They also publish the high school textbook 高等学校 日本史 in Japanese.
