How to learn to write or read hiragana simbols

So I started to learn Japanese a short time ago but I only now very little about it.
I started to see some charts with the alphabet in romaji like a’i’o’u’e,ka’ke etc…
But there are so many simbols and meanings that I can’t remember all of them I don’t know how to pronounce the simbol if I see it and I can’t write the simbol if I see the pronunciation
So its looking pretty bad can any one give me some advice on how to learn the simbols so I can read and write pls. The all the help is appreciated

Hi, Michael. Welcome to LingQ. What I know about Japanese is confined to “sayanara” and to a very old TV miniseries called Shogun, but some LingQ members are up to speed on the language. One recommended the following video for learning hiragana:

and Mark said, “There is a book by Heisig that I used to learn them in a few days.”
(Login - LingQ).

I know other members will be along soon to give you more help. Good luck studying Japanese!

Here an amazon link to the book that Donhamilton mentioned: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0824831640/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1/187-7703080-5614426?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_r=0MCEJZHEPMTRRDQZS42T&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=1535523702&pf_rd_i=4889960724

“Hiragana is used to write native words for which there are no kanji. Also hiragana is used in words for which the kanji form is obscure, not known to the writer or readers, or too formal for the writing purpose.”

Just use brute force and write them over and over again (in the correct order). Print out a chart from wikipedia or elsewhere, no need to spend money on this simple task.

(The video recommended by Dirkh is very good for learning the hiragana letters.)

平仮名だけで日本語を表記することは可能ですが、漢字も使わないと日本語は読みにくいものになってしまいます。日本語の文章では、漢字が重要な役割を果たしています。漢字と仮名(かな、カナ)を組み合わせた表記方法を廃止することは合理的ではありません。

“It is possible will be referred to the Japanese hiragana only, but the Japanese will become as hard to read you do not use kanji. In Japanese, Chinese characters plays an important role. Decided to abolish the notation that combines (kana, kana) kana and kanji is not practical.”
(Google Translate)

Google Translate is not smart enough. I will rewrite the above translation by Google Translate.

It is possible to write Japanese with only hiragana, but Japanese sentences without kanji are hard to read. In Japanese, Chinese characters play an important role. Abolishing the notation system that combines kana and kanji is neither practical nor inventive.
