Snap together grammar

My blog talks about my experience learning Korean. Today I am really happy with how this post came out, so I wanted to share.

I picture grammar like putting puzzle pieces together.

I noticed that the sentence structure in Korean is the same as in Japanese.
I wonder whether the order of words in the sentence can be changed.
Can you, for example, begin the sentence with Korea?
“Korea from I came.”

yes, swapping the order possible. verb comes last.

Thank you, Jreidy.

@jreidy What a lovely blog and what a pertinent post! I am not at all a visual learner, but the idea of little grammar beads sticks, especially so as I used to be a particle in our grammar games at school!

P.S. How do you get all those pictures to look so good?

Interesting perspective on learning Korean grammar. For me, it’s no snap though. I’ve put in hundreds and hundreds of hours, know thousands of words and yet, still I struggle with “putting it all together.”

I so wish it were like snapping blocks together.

For me, it’s all fog and no snaps.
