I have added the beginner Korean patterns to the library. This is the set of patterns Steve suggested for beginners. I got my Korean friend to translate and record them for me.
Let me know if they are good or can be improved in any way.
I have included the English translation which can be found in the lesson notes.

The recordings are a little quick if the target audience is beginners, but it’s definitely going to be helpful to beginners out there.

Im a little confused on how to get going really. The translations are pretty helpful but do i need to go and learn the korean alphabet before really being able to put this work to good use.
@ponyo - the Korean alphabet is actually very easy to learn, so I definitely recommend learning it so that you can begin reading as soon as possible. Plus, it’ll make everything else a whole lot easier
I’m going a bit off topic, but… where can I find lessons with these patterns in other languages? I’d like to see some samples in order to get some ideas for something similar in Italian.
It looks like nobody has read my message… Meanwhile, I have found Steve’s collection but I’d like to find more, if they are available. I have also written a similar lesson for the Italian library but I still have to record it.
@ponyo, I would strongly suggest learning the Korean alphabet. It really helps and can be learned fairly quickly if you work at it. I studied for about a day and had all of it pretty much down. I haven’t really learned the proper names for all of them yet but that, I don’t think, is as important until later in your learning. I would get the sounds down pat so you can be able to read things with out thinking about it. Thats how I kind of got started. After that I started learning how to write, and how sounds get put together. Once you do this you will have a good base and will be feeling more confident to take on more material.
